  1. There are many research conducted to determine the effect of Asprin in cancer. In almost all experiment shows that asprin or NSAID (Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs) can reduce the risk or cancer. But be careful, it does not mean that you start taking asprin to reduce the risk of cancer. These researches help to fiend out a safe and effective prevention system or medicine against any disease. Let one research concluded that X is effective to reduce in Y disease, but it needs other research to find out the safety level, side effects, residual effect etc.Lesley A. Stark et. al. (and other) conducted an experiment and found that there is compelling evidence that NSAIDs (asprin) have a protective effect against colorectal cancer.A study of Oxford University showed that, taking of one 300 mg tablet of asprin per day for more than five years can reduce the incidence of colorectal cancer by 37 percent. It may be reduced to 74 percent if the treatment continues 10 to 15 years. There are so many researches like this. But remember many research also proved that aspirin can have serious side-effects, like stomach bleeding. So, take the information (asprin can reduce the risk of cancer) just as an information or research result, do not start taking asprin to reduce the risk or cancer. Do not take any medicine without the advice of a registered doctor.
  2. Thanks every one for your kind help. Today I found my warn level as zero. Thanks moderators especially serverph and jlhaslip to reduce my warn level. For a long time I was trying to upgrade my free hosting, but for the warning I was not able to upgrade my hosting account. Now I will be able to apply for upgrading. Thanks every one again.
  3. Yes, you rite. Too much of a good thing is also bad. Excessive taking of vitamins may cause toxic symptoms. Generally it caused by high storage levels of vitamins. The common name of the condition is vitamin poisoning, or hypervitaminosis. There are different hypervitaminoses, such as Hypervitaminosis A, Hypervitaminosis D, Hypervitaminosis E etc.The effects of Hypervitaminosis A includes birth defects, liver problems, reduced bone mineral density that may result in osteoporosis, coarse bone growths, hair loss, excessive skin, dryness/peeling etc. Acute toxicity includes nausea and vomiting, headache, dizziness, blurred vision, and loss of muscular coordination. Vitamin D toxicity occurs if some one takes more than 100 times RDA (the recommended daily allowance) over a period of months. Acute toxicity overdoses ten thousand times the RDA. Main symptoms of vitamin D poisoning are dehydration, vomiting, anorexia (decreased appetite), irritability, constipation, fatigue etc.So do not take excess vitamins. Everything within the limit is good.

I use simply notepad for php. Actually I work only for WAP sites, and my projects are quite simpl, so I did not feel for this type of editor before. But now I am thinking that this type of editor will help me enough. Thanx for the above information, I am going to download Eclipse adn PHP Development Tools.
  5. Vitamin is very well known nutrients to us. It required a little amount in our body but played a vital role. There are two types of vitamin, such as water soluble vitamin and fat soluble vitamin. Fat soluble vitamins are Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E and Vitamin K; and water soluble vitamins are Vitamin B-complex and Vitamin C. All vitamins are not discovered together. In 1909 Vitamin A was isolated from cod liver oil. Another name of Vitamin A is retinol. Vitamin D was also isolated from cod liver oil, but 9 years after the discovery of Vitamin A. The discovery year of Vitamin D (another name calciferol) is 1918. Tocopherol or Vitamin E was isolated from wheat germ oil in 1922 and other fat soluble vitamin, phyllochinone or Vitamin K was isolated from luzerne in 1929.Incase of water soluble vitamins, Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) was isolated from lemons in 1912. Another water soluble vitamin, Thiamin or Vitamin B1 was also discovered in the same year. Vitamin B1 was isolated from rice bran. The discovery year of Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) is 1920 and it was isolated from eggs. Vitamin B3 (niacin) was isolated from liver in 1936. Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic acid), Vitamin B7 (biotin), Vitamin B9 (folic acid) and Vitamin B12 (cobalamine) also isolated from liver in 1931, 1931, 1941 and 1926 respectively. Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) was isolated from rice bran in 1934.Deficiency symptoms of Vitamin A are Night blindness, Keratomalacia, Pale, dry skin etc. There are also some symptoms to take excess Vitamin A, mainly they are Liver toxicity, Dry skin, Hair loss, Teratological effects, Osteoporosis (suspected, long-term) etc. Common sources of Vitamin A are Liver, fortified dairy products, darkly colored fruits, leafy vegetables etc. Diseases caused by deficiency of vitamin D are Rickets, Osteomalacia, and Osteoporosis etc. Common source of vitamin E are palm oil, sunflower, corn, soybean, and olive oil. Nuts, sunflower seeds, seabuckthorn berries, kiwi fruit, wheat germ, whole grains, fish, peanut butter, goats milk, and green leafy vegetables etc. Common source of Vitamin K is leafy green vegetables, mainly the dark green ones such as spinach and kale; Brassica, avocado, kiwifruit etc. Vitamin B1 (thiamine) is found naturally in green peas, spinach, liver, beef, pork, navy beans, nuts, pinto beans, bananas, soybeans, goji berries, whole-grains, breads, yeast, vegemite, the aleurone layer of unpolished rice, legumes etc. Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) is found naturally in asparagus, bananas, okra, chard, cottage cheese, milk, yogurt, meat, eggs, fish, marmite etc. Main source of Vitamin B3 are Liver, heart, kidney, chicken, beef, tuna fish, salmon fish, milk, eggs, broccoli, tomatoes, carrots, dates, sweet potatoes, asparagus, avocados, nuts, whole grain products, yeast etc. Main sources of Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) are whole grain and eggs and main sources of Vitamin B9 (folate) are spinach, turnip greens, lettuces, dried beans and peas, fortified cereal products, sunflower seeds etc. Vitamin B-12 is naturally found in foods of animal origin like liver, shellfish, milk products etc.
  6. Your site is not working. I tried several times to open your site but failed. I do not know why. Is it my computer problem/browser problem or actually there is no web pages? Is it my computer/browser problem then it is ok, but is there really no pages, it is a very bad job! Still I want to believe that there is really a site.
  7. I have tried to visite your web site, but it says "You need to install Java to view all content on this page. Do you want to download Java now?". So I need to install Java to view your website. If any day I install Java, I will try to visite your site again. Hop that time I will find a better forum and chat page there. Wish your success.
  8. I strongly support that nuclear power is not bad for the environment if we properly use it.Proper use of nuclear power can solve our one of the main problem, energy. Can you imagine a world, where there is no power crisis! Many people do not like nuclear power just for its improper use. But improper use is not the fault of nuclear power, it is the fault of human, who is operating this power. For example Fire, it is most essential for human. But if we use it in wrong way, it may cause severe damage. Is it the fault of fire? Will we give up use of fire for this? No, we will not. Fire has uplifted our civilization. Discovery of fire was so important thing in our civilization. I think proper use of nuclear power may be act as much important as discovery of fire.
  9. Things inside the milk from cows are designed for calves it is true, but it also true that the same milk is also ideal food for us. Body size regulates the intake of food. If calve has large body size, it will take more food but it does not mean that as calve and human is different in size so their food must be different. Large body size needs more energy for maintenance more protein for high growth, so they need to take more food. Now the matter of stomach, Cow has a compound stomach with four compartments (rumen, reticulum, omasum and abomasum). The last part of the stomach (abomasum) is the true stomach, where enzymatic digestion took part. This abomasum is like our stomach. Milk digested in this part. The previous parts of the stomach (rumen, reticulum, omasum) are not so important for milk digestion of calve. So do not need to think, as cow has a different type of stomach and cow's milk is mainly for calf so it is not a good food for us.
  10. Activity that governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively is called sports. It is not necessary that physical capabilities of the competitor will be the sole or primary determiner of winning or losing, but mental acuity or equipment quality may be the major factor. So, things like chess, golf, and figure skating are must be real sports. Care Race is also real sports where equipment quality is the major factor.
  11. The main reason of baldness is genetic. There are also other reasons, but about 95% baldness is genetic. Baldness is a sex linked trait. Incase of baldness of male, he gets this baldness trait from his mother. Baldness is shows more in male and very less in female.Human have one pair of sex chromosome, they are X-Chromosome and Y-Chromosome. If the chromosomal pair is XX she will be a female and if the chromosomal pair is XY, he will be a male. The baldness gene is linked to the X-Chromosome.Now the point, why we say male gets their baldness traits only from his mother. I told before that baldness trait is linked to the X-Chromosome, and male has only one X-Chromosome. When a child born, he gets one sex chromosome from his father (X or Y) and gets other sex chromosome from his mother (X). As mother gives her child only X-Chromosome and male child has only one X-Chromosome, so it is clear that this X-Chromosome comes from his mother. As this X-Chromosome carries the baldness traits, so we say male gets his baldness traits from his mother. Now the question is why we found baldness more in male but less in females. There are two types of genes dominant and recessive. If dominant and recessive genes stay together, the dominant traits will be shown otherwise the traits of recessive genes will be shown. Incase of baldness, normal condition is dominant to baldness traits. In male, there is only one X-Chromosome, so there is only one gene in the pair to determine the baldness and there is no possibility to have a normal gene to suppress the baldness trait. As a result just presence of baldness gene cause baldness. Incase of female, they have 2 X-chromosome, so there is a possibility to have a normal gene in any of the X-chromosome to suppress baldness. This is why, in female this trait shows only when baldness genes present in both X-chromosome, which is less probable. So we see baldness more in mane than female. Now let Xn for normal condition and Xb for baldness condition gene. So normal male will be XnY and normal female will be XnXn. So, offspring of normal male and normal female will be XnXn or XnY ie., normal. If the father carries bald gene (XbY) and mother carries normal (XnXn) genes, the male child will be normal (XnY) and the female also will be normal (XbXn) but have recessive baldness gene. In this way we can easily show how baldness trait is transmitted from generation to generation.
  12. AOB blood grouping is the most common blood grouping in present world. In this grouping blood grouped depending on presence and absence of antigen A and antigen B in blood. Blood groups in AOB system are A, B, AB and O. I am trying to explain this blood grouping system as easy as possible so that the member of this site who has no science background can also understand the system. If any blood contain antigen A but no antigen B, the blood group will be A blood group. If any blood contains antigen B but no antigen A, the blood group will be B blood group. If any blood contains both antigen A and antigen B, the blood group will be AB blood group. If any blood contains none of them (antigen A and antigen B ) will be O blood group.Blood group of offspring depends on parent’s blood group. If father and mother are both bearing O blood group, their offspring’s blood group must be O. If one of them bearing A and other is bearing B blood group, offspring’s blood group may be A, B, AB or O. I am trying to describe the whole matter genetically but avoiding scientific terms as possible as I can.Every child gets their traits (genetically transmitted traits, not all traits) from their parents. They get 50% of their traits from their father and 50% from their mother. In other word, father transmits his 50% and mother transmits her 50% to their child. Every trait is controlled by a pair of genes. Let A blood group is controlled by “A_” gene pair,B blood group is controlled by “B_” gene pair,AB blood group is controlled by “AB” gene pair,O blood group is controlled by “_ _” gene pair,Now you can easily calculate the offspring’s possible blood group(s) if you know the parent blood group. For example, if one of them have A blood group (A_) and other have O blood group (_ _). A blood group can be divided as “A” and “_” and “O” blood group can be divided by “_” and “_” . So the possible combination of A, _ and _, _ are A _ and _ _ ie., blood group A, and O. So, if parents bearing blood group O and A, offspring blood group will be A or O not B or AB. Another example to make this more clear, let parents blood groups are B and O. B blood group contains “B” and “_” on the other hand O blood group contains only “_” (_ _). So, the possible combination of B, _ and _, _ are “B_” and “_ _” ie., blood group B and blood group O. So the parents bearing blood group B and O will result offspring only B and O blood groups. In this process we can calculate the possible blood group of offspring if we know the blood group of parents.
  13. How much time a man can live without water is depends on many factors. For a healthy man, main factors are environment temperature and relative humidity. If environment temperature is high, it will cause more water losses from body and lead to early die. But if the temperature is normal, it will cause less water losses from the body and the person will survive more. Again if relative humidity is low, it will cause more water losses from body and lead to early die. But if the relative humidity is normal, it will cause less water losses from the body and the person will survive more. In general, one person can survive 2 to 10 days without water depending on the rate of water loss from the body. So, I think 3 days, 5 days, 7 days all data is correct depending on environment where the experiment is done. If this experiment is done in a hot low humidity area, the person will survive less time than a high humid and normal temperature area.
  14. I think roughly 1g sugar = 4 calories. So if we consider 1 tea spoon contains 5g sugar, the total calories will be 20 calories.
  15. I am a hosted member of Xisto.com. I have few warning (20%) for many days. I want to reduce this warn level. I searched the forum writing "warn", "warning" etc. but did not find any result, so I created this topic. Please any one help me details how can I reduce my warn level to zero.
  16. Most of my dreams are colorful. I did not know that dreams may be black and white few years back. Few years back, I read an article where I found that most of the dreams are colorless. Actually I did not think about the color of my dreams before I read that article. After read it, I observed my dreams and found that most of my dreams are colorful and few are colorless (black and white) but still I do not know why my some dreams are colorful and why others are black and white.
  17. Ovum (ova) is a haploid female reproductive cell or gamete. An ovum in combined with its outer layer (it may be shell), internal membranes and nutrients for the embryo is the Egg. Egg may be unicellular or multi-cellular but ovum must be unicellular. Naturally every eggs contains an ovum. I think, now it is clear that egg and ova is not same. Egg production is depends on many thing. But the main thing is ovulation (releases of ovum from the ovary). Normally very ovulation results an egg. As chicken ovulate almost every day, so it gives us eggs almost every day.
  18. Yesterday my hosting credit was about 1 month, but today I found them about 9 days. Can any one help me to find the reason please.
  19. Crossbreeding is a very useful tool to improve performance. It is widely used in cattle to improve milk production. When breeding is done between two different breeds is called crossbreeding. If an bull of high milk producing breed (like Holstein) meted to a low milk producing cow (like any non-descriptive indigenous breed), the offspring will produce more milk then her mother. This is a genetic upgrading. I will try to discuss it as easy as possible, so that people without having knowledge of genetics can understand it. Here is an example to explain how crossbreeding improve production.Let a high yielding breed XX gives 100 L milk per day and an indigenous breed YY gives 2 L milk per day. Now we want to improve the milk production of YY breed. Now if we cross them, the new offspring will get 50% productivity from her mother and 50% productivity from her father. Her mother’s (YY) productivity is 2 L/day, so 50% of 2 L is 1 L and her father’s (XX) productivity is 100 L /day, so 50% of 100 L is 50 L. So in 1st generation, they will get genetic potentiality to produce 51 L milk per day (1 L from mother + 50 L from father). Let named the first generation as G1.Now if we cross male of XX breed and female of G1, the offspring will again get 50% productivity from her mother and 50% productivity from her father. 50% of her father’s (XX) performance is 50 L and 50% of her mother’s (G1) performance is 25.5 L (51/2 = 25.5). So, the offspring will get genetic potentiality to produce 75.5 L milk per day (50 L form father + 25.5 L from mother). Let named this generation is G2.Similarly if we again cross male of XX breed to the female of our crossbreed (G2), it will produce G3 with genetic potentiality to produce 87.75 L milk per day. Crossing with G3 will produce G4 with genetic potentiality to produce 93.875 L milk per day. Crossing with G4 will produce G5 with genetic potentiality to produce 96.9 L milk per day. Crossing with G5 will produce G6 with genetic potentiality to produce 98.5 L milk per day. Crossing with G6 will produce G7 with genetic potentiality to produce 99.25 L milk per day, which is quite similar to XX breed. In this way, crossbreeding can help to increase production performance. It’s also very easy for people to upgrade their animal by crossbreeding. One more thing, I have avoided many technical terms and much other technical information to make this post easier to all users.
  20. There are many popular rankings for cricket player’s performance, but the official player ranking of international cricket (both test cricket and one day international cricket) is LG ICC Player Ranking. They rank both bowler and batsman for test cricket and ODI. In this ranking players are rated on a scale ranged 0 to 1000 points. More points indicate better performance, in other words players having more points are better performer then players having less points. After every match of a national team, every international player of that nation gets few points (it may be negative points also). This points depends on many factors like runs scored by a player, bowling strength of opposing team, run-scoring in the match, team’s innings total, is the bats man not out or not, wickets taken and runs conceded, ratings of the batsmen dismissed, how many overs bowled etc. There are a little difference in test player ranking and ODI (One day international) players ranking. For example, if a batsman scores 50 runs in a innings he will get different points in different condition. If the opposing combined bowling rating is high, the batsman will get more points for his 50 runs then a low rating bowling attack. If the level of run-scoring is high in that match, the batsman will get less point than a low scoring match for his same 50 runs. His points will also be higher if he scores this run in that innings where his team scores less runs. 50 runs in a 200 runs innings will get more points than 50 runs in a 300 runs innings. If the batsman remains not out, he will get a bonus. Batsmen who score highly in victories team will also get a bonus. He will get more bonus for scoring high ranked team than low ranked. If he scores this 50 runs in the ICC Cricket World Cup matches, he will get another bonus. Incase of a bowler, let he took 5 wickets in 50 runs. Now he will get different points in different condition. If his dismissed players are high rated, he will get more points than dismissing low rated players. He will get more points for his 5/50 in a high scoring match than a low scoring match. If he bowls a large number of overs in the match, will get some extra credit Bowlers who take a lot of wickets in victories team will also get a bonus. He will get more bonus for taking wicket against high ranked team than low ranked. If he took 5 wickets in 50 runs in the ICC Cricket World Cup matches, he will get another bonus. Bowlers who do not bowl in a high-scoring innings are penalized. In ODI bowlers gain significant credit for his economy.Players who miss a Test match for their country, for whatever reason, lose 1% of their points and incase of ODI they will loss 0.50% of their points (for both batsman and bowlers).A new player starts his carrier from 0 points and until he played sufficient matches, he do not considered for full rating. I think this system set to prevent a new player to go to the top rank, playing only few match of his early carrier with a good performance. . For example, a new batsman who has played 10 test innings will get 70% of his rating (his rating will be between 0 and 700 points). He does not get 100% rating, until he has played 40 Test innings. A new bowler who has taken 30 wickets also gets 70% of his full rating. He does not get 100% until he has taken 100 test wickets.Total rating system is based on weighted mean of player’s performance, where recent performances get more weight than previous performances. Weighted mean is quite different than normal mean (arithmetical mean) that we calculate in our daily life. In this system you need to set weight of your data before calculating mean. More weighted data has more impact in weighted mean. So in this rating system recent performance has more impact in a players rating. Today, when I am writing this topic K.C. Sangakkara is the top test batsman, M. Muralidaran is the top test bowler, G.C. Smith is the top ODI batsman and D.L. Vettori is the top ODI bowler in LG ICC ranking.
  21. Recently I found that, there is a wrong concept to many people that drinking cold water can reduce weight. They sowed me few interesting thermodynamics prove (actually they were wrong). They showed that if some one drinks cold water, it will be increase its temperature inside our body. In another word, it will burn few calories to increase its temperature. In this way, some one can burn their calories and can loose their weight. They also showed me if I drink 1000g (around 1 L) water having temperature 5 deg. C and it increase its temperature 25 deg C (to reach our body temperature), then total calories loss will be 1000 X 25 = 25000 calories (as loss of calories = amount of water in grams X increase of temperature in degree Celsius). So, if some one drinks 5 L cold water, he can burn 125000 calories daily. 1g fat contains about 9.1 kilocalories. So, 125000 calories is almost equivalent to loss of 14 g fat/day, about 0.4 kg/month. Its sounds well that only drinking cold water can burn 0.4 kg fat/month.But is it true??The answer is NO!!There is a difference between calories uses in physics and physiology. In physics, the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of a gram of water from 14.5 ?C to 15.5 ?C at standard atmospheric pressure is called 1 calorie but in physiology, the energy needed to increase the temperature of a kg of water by 1 ?C is called 1 calorie. So, physiological calorie is 1000 times larger than calorie used in physics. 125000 calorie (used in physics) is equivalent to only 125 calorie (used in physiology). 125 calorie is almost equivalent to 0.01g fat. Now think, you need about 100 days to loss 1g of fat. And if you want to loss 1 kg fat, you need 274 years!!!I think, the main reason behind the wrong concept is the conflict of two type of calorie. So don’t be confused, be confident, drinking cold water can’t loose weight.
  22. There are few incomplete information in slave's last post.Hens begin laying at 18 – 20 weeks of age is true only for commercial layers, not for other hens. Parent stock starts laying at 22-24 weeks, even few hen starts laying after 50 weeks. Brown hens lay brown eggs and white hen lay white eggs are not really true. Roughly you can say egg color depends on ear color. Normally there are 2 ear colors white and brown. Brown eared hens lay brown eggs and white eared hens lay white eggs. Many hen of black color having white ear lay white eggs, not black eggs. Hens of brown color having white ear lay white eggs too, not brown eggs.I think reason behind to think that brown hens lay brown eggs and white hens lay white eggs is most commercial layer egg color is similar to their color. Like ISA brown, BV brown etc popular brown colored commercial layers produce brown eggs and BV-300, ISA white etc popular white colored commercial layers produce white colored eggs.
  23. I use a filter to restrict posting site address and few words (that is not acceptable to me) in chat room of my mobile site. I do not know will it be helpful to you or not, but you may try it. The system is very simple. Make a file for your restricted words (like http://, www., .com, .net, .org, etc) and set a function to check this file before posting your guest book. If the post contain any word that is restricted by you, display a message "Don’t try to spam, we don’t accept it".
  24. I have a question. If I receive board warning will I be able to get free domain? I have 20% board warning, so I can’t upgrade my hosting account. Is it same for the free domain name too?
  25. Lol, you are really interested in animal science. Your another topic was about livestock (sheep, goat, cattle) and your this topic is related to poultry.1st information for you that chicken do not lay almost every day. Only high yielding strains lay 250 - 280 eggs/laying year (normally). Now remember that laying year is not like calendar year (52 weeks). A laying year is about 60 week (it may be from 18 week to 82 week). So, they give about 250 eggs in about 420 days. 2nd information is that woman does not produce egg. No mammals produce eggs (only 1 exception). Ova and egg are not same, totally different. 3rd information is that, chicken is a special type of bird. Chicken is under poultry. The word poultry is designated those species of bird which render men an economic services and reproduce freely under there care. It includes chicken, duck, turkey, quell, pigeon, ostrich, guinea foul etc. And I mentioned before that only high yielding strain of chicken produce high quantity (250-280) eggs not pure breed or non-descriptive indigenous breeds. High yielding strains are developed in an artificial way by applying few tricks of genetics. They are not any breed or variety. To develop laying strain scientist are select high yielding breeds like Leghorn, Plymouth Rock, Cornish etc. Maintain pure line of this breeds they cross breed them to produce hybrid vigor (intermediate stages are Grand Parent, Parent and finally commercial layer). These commercial layers are genetically designed to produce eggs only. They use their all efficiency to produce eggs. But normal chicken do not produce so many eggs. Normally indigenous chicken produce 60 - 80 eggs (in our country). As other birds are not artificially genetically improved to a strain to produce eggs so they do not produce as much eggs as high yielding chicken strain. One more information for you, there is another type of chicken strain, which are developed for meat purpose. Broiler strains (meat type strain) normally do not lay eggs. So, please do not mix artificial and natural things. Artificially we can change many things very quickly, but naturally they don’t.
