I have posted this before but it seemed as if no one saw my post. that was the reason why i decided to post it again. I have this website i resently finished designing which i want to use for my intended company and i'd like you guys/girls to help me review this website and tell me all the errors you can find in there. Well you PM admin and tell nim your problem. I had nearly the same problem when i got an upgrade but mine was that i couldnt log into my ACP. I had to PM admin and he sent my PW via PM.So, you PM admin with ya problems. I am sure he will have a way of sorting it out.

Ok i got that DMA. Been thinking the problem aint from uni.cc but i was mistaken.

i know that people can meet the popup insisting that they log in with Username and passwor to your website.

I dont think the problem is from uni.cc You might have made some mistake somewhere in your packing of the NameServers.

Hey, make sute to upload your website as soon as possible so that people wont tamper with your files and folders. some of them are so delicate that if deleted will prevent your website from ever functioning again unless resetted by Admin.

Yea you need to delete the old index.html before the new one can become functional. Also, make sure to rename the new one after you've deleted the old one.

I like your layout Tim. Even though it looks soooooo simple without any graphics but it is still good and everything is well arranged in your layout. Would have been much better if you coded that yourself. Nice work.

Yea sure dontmaimyourself. CMS ought to score low cos the webmaster didnt really design the site himself. What kind of categories are you refering to? You cant say your site is bad. Som other people might see your site as the best. Who knows... Sure...Lets start the competetion and know who wins and wha the outside world has to say about our websites.. we can even invite outside website reviewers so that there wont be any kind of partiality in the competition.. Watcha think?

You really need to so that you will get well. The doctor needs to do some check up on you to ensure that you are really fine before he finally lets you go. So, you go for the checkup. It is for your own benefit.

your rules are fair enough X3ROX. I knew that it is much more difficult to code and design a website than to make one with a CMS. But what i dont fancy there is the idea of no price for the winner. At least, the winner is supposed to have some consolation for his work. Dont you think so? I think your idea is real nice cos of the stress of coding and designing a site compared to having to design it with a CMS

yea i believe it is gonna be a real good thing to do. Still waiting for admin to see my post ans know what he will say about that. BTW, I personally dont like websites created with content management system modules either. But what we should be considering is the site itself and not how it was designed. More emphasis should be laid on the programming and the codes should checked too. Again, the website should be checked for its tag optimization too. If a site is designed with CMS, i dont think it will have such.

Umm....it just occured to me to post this here... Can we run a competition here in Xisto for all the hosted members (admins and mods inclusive) who have websites. The competition should be about the best website of all. May be we should be checking things like: The general design The typographic aspect Broken links Is the site making its main purpose known? The contents And every other thing that should be checked in a website... And probably...depending on what admin thinks about the competition, the winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd) can win things...say more space and BW (just wondering). It should make us members to be more serious about our web designs and what kind of design (both graphic and otherwise) we put in our respective websites. So what do you think?

not only that, I registered there for the sole aim of storing my files there as a BackUp but guess what? I cant even upload to their server. Each time i try to upload my files to their, I meet a 404 error. Thats kinda bad for a new site which is still looking for customers

You guys gotta give admin some time on that. He will surely do that.

I personally dont see anything wrong with them Chinese. Like Bexa said, maybe it is cos the admins and hosts cant understand whether there is a hack in the website or not, that is the reasoin why they dont accept them in their servers.
