  1. That's what I was going to say. I've been pondering the question of whether God exists or not. I've been brought up Christian but was taught only what to believe and not why we believe which is also very important. I don't want to live with a blind faith. As I have come back to this question quite a few times about whether there is a God or not, I always end up at the point that there has to be a God because of how the universe and all that it contains is so organized. From the furthest reaches of the universe which we can barely see to the subatomic particles, it is all organized. I just can't bring myself to believe that organization can come from disorganization or along the same lines intelligence from unintelligence. I am not forcing my belief just stating them.
  2. I have heard more than one person tell me that if your throat hurts you are straining something that shoudn't be strained. I know that most people sing this way including myself. The ginger water seems nice. I might just try that.
  3. In the preview of Halo 3 wasn't one of the kids who was laying on the ground looking at the stars supposed to be MC? I'm thinking that they could build a deeper character by writing about more of his past. Knowing Hollywood, though, I'd have to go with MC just looking cool and the story sucking really bad because of shallow character depth. Oh well, I hope it will at least have cool CG.
  4. Tools can never do anything by themselves. They are simply things to aid people in completing tasks. Much have been said about the use of the internet being the culprit and not the tool itself so I agree with that. I believe in moderation and having too much of many things usually turn out to be bad things in the long run. The internet is great for communication and aquiring all sorts of useful/useless information. I use it for research all the time. Our society is creating an environment that is promoting mindless zombies who check their email, MySpace, Zanga, Friendster, Facebook, YouTube etc. every five seconds for no particular reason. I know because I can easily be one if I don't practice some self control.
  5. I just purchased/financed a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer ES(family car version) to be able to get to work. With no overdrive it definitely leaves something to be desired. I wanted an OZ Rally for the looks but I just don't have the fundage. Well, my Lancer gets me to work and back without worry of it breaking down so for that I am thankful.
  6. They probably didn't forsee the U.S. becoming "politically correct" and the majority departing from the belief that there is a God. As a Christian I hold to the belief that God created us equally but I would never consider persecuting someone with a different belief. I would try my hardest to love people to Christ.
  7. "INTELLIGENCE! forsaking intelligence for faith is the order of BUSINESS of ALL reliegeons!"DEF #1. capacity for learning, reasoning, understanding, and similar forms of mental activity; aptitude in grasping truths, relationships, facts, meanings, etc. So where do you suppose intelligence came from? And please don't tell me that it evolved from non-intelligence. Would it not take intelligence to pass on intelligence? Just some thoughts. Is intelligence tangible?
