Good day, everyone.Due to several difficulties in my personal life, working life, etc. I have decided to delete my hosting account for an indefinite period of time. I appreciate your understanding of my current situation and when things looks better overall I'll be back again.Once agian, you are - and have always been - a great community with hosting service that is hard to beat. It's just that as of late, I haven't had the time to keep up my credit balance. When you think about the amount Paypal charges for a transaction isn't so bad. I'm just wondering how much Paypal would make off the exchange rate. What about he alternatives, like e-gold, money bookers, alert pay, etc.?

I'm one of the veteran members myself, and I think you'll find a lot of interesting people here.Like a few others have said here, if you're going to the Phillipines, and won't have access to a computer for two weeks, try to make several quality posts to (a) get the hosting package and ( make a few more good posts to build up enough credits to last you through those two weeks.Wish you all the best and I hope you have a great time over there. Of the commercial anti-virus software, we USED to use Norton Internet Security. It was quite strong in terms of protecting the computer, but it certainly slowed our computer down. Recently, we swithed over to a trial version of Virus Buster (by Trend Micro) and the computer runs much faster now - almost like it was new!

That's great news!　At home I usually use Firefox and I'm excited to hear about the new release. I'm sure there are a few bugs to be worked out, so I'll wait until either the final version - or maybe even a release candidate version - is released before I download it.

I ran across that website a few times, but never signed up. Thanks to the feedback, now I know I'll steer clear of this site. Adware/spyware is the last thing I would want on my computer.

The credit system is really good here; what matters the most is the content of your posts, rather than the number of posts themselves. As long as you make good quality posts, you should be able to reach (and maintain) your hosting credits quite easily. The site appears a bit strange in IE. That - and some images were blocked out (perhaps this is more to do with the connection from my end). I quite like the banner, though. Simple and unique.

Well, you know something's a bit fishy if the minimum payout is $125. Depending on how much you get paid per click/e-mail, I think anywhere from NO minimum/$5 to $10 would be a fair payout for anyone with these kind of sites.

Sory to see you go, but in a sense you're still with Xisto (the parent compnay) since you are moving to Xisto - Web Hosting. You're always more than welcome to come back here and share your thoughts with everyone once in a while.Take care and all the best!

The trouble with some of these get paid to play websites is that they are limited to residents of the USA/Canada (and other "search" countries. (One example that comes to mind is "Net-winners", looks great and is praised by many people. Too bad I don't live in Canada at the moment. Anyway, I tend to stick with the PTC to make a little extra cash.

Well, it would be fun to make an original name - you can make it a long title or just change a letter or two. That's what I did for the IE icon - I changed one letter in the word "explorer" so that it read "Internet Exploder".
