  2. Velma, can you narrow it down to which domain is causing the most server load, and I can see if a setting in one of my wordpress scripts is causing it? Also I can't bring up my domain: theresabloginmysoup.com can you look into that for me as well?
  3. I'm too the point where I'm about to move to hostgator for $9/month and do a chargeback on my credit card.btw my ticket# is PDO-968974 if that helps, domain: patrickcurl.com and a bunch of side domains. Get a 403 permission denied error, and when I log into cpanel - there are 0 files in my file manager. This issue was logged yesterday under another ticket, and today under this ticket.
  4. The 24-7 support is never online anymore - or I would've tried them. Also I've submitted a ticket yesterday, and one today. Both w/ critical checked.

  7. You definitely should look into talking with a Doctor about how you feel, and possibly giving medication a try. Trust me it does help, and it is NEVER something to be ashamed of. I take Paxil, mostly for Social Anxiety and depression. It helps a tremendous amount.Another thing you can try is taking St. John's wart, and 5htp. Both of these herbs can help you increase your seratonin levels in your brain, which in turn will make you feel 'Normal', and definitely a lot happier. (At least some of the time...). Nobody is happy all of the time, unless they're extremely drugged up all that time, but then that's not healthy. I would definitely recommend though that you seek help from a Professional, what you feel now might not seem like much, but it's a path that can lead to your death... or a mass shooting at a high school(e.g. Collumbine).
  8. Perhaps, Al Gore is right, and all of this polluting will finally catch up and we'll have a major event like in the movie:The Day After Tomorrow.I think that's as good a guess as anybody else has. It could also mean, we might finally be able to set our differences aside as a world planet, and join forces, have one government, and many many states, that are all in at least somewhat harmony.I think its quite possibly, if only people would get over their petty Power struggles, and greed. I think with the age of the internet and the cross-world communications that we share, that we should easily be able to run the world under one nation, and perhaps it should be a new nation, not USA, or Britain, just the Nation of Earth, or Terrafirma, etc...Seriously, I think it could work. Imagine if we took all the money spent on weapons, and war, and devoted to the following ideas:1. Ending world hunger and poverty.2. Universal Health Care for everyone on the planet.3. Greenifying every industry in the world - I think if there is to BE a world, then we need to the next decade the era of Green technology. 100% emission free cars, etc...4. Everyone should have the same shot at school. Free education for everyone, k-college. 5. Everyone will pay consumption taxes, instead of income taxes. The would be 10% if you're in poverty, 20% if you're somewhere in the middle and 25% for the upper class. Or you could have every item somehow controlled the items that only the rich can afford will have higher taxes, because they could buy generic like everyone else if they wanted to.6. Weapons of Mass Destruction would be totally eradicated. The technology would be sealed in books in museums, in case of need ever presents itself(Aliens, or rebellions, etc...). People would still be allowed to carry small firearms to protect themselves and their families, because no matter how good it gets there will always be criminals.....etc...Wouldn't it be cool if we could just get rid of Borders altogether, and share one language, and be just one counry? Maybe instead of 1 president have 7 from the 7 major regions of the planet, and they'd have to have a 4-3 conensus to pass or veto a bill.Just my two cents...
  9. My favorite is the SEOQuake Toolbar for Firefox.I'd also like to give a try to wordtracker someday. What is your favorite SEO tool?
  10. I got to say, I remember the dialup days, then I found cable, and fell madly in love....Now that I have fiber to the curb, 15mbps up and down, well.. I'd probably leave my wife for 160gb/s. LOL
  11. I have had this idea for quite awhile. A way to game google, without being tracked.Basics of my idea:1. A wordpress plugin that would do the following: - Track specific benchmarks regarding each website it's installed on. It would be able to find the top 10 keyword phrases, it would track alexa rank, unique visitors, google pagerank, yahoo/google/msn index, etc...And report those statistics daily to the central database. The central database assigns points to each website based on their statistics. - Secondly it would add 1-2 sites daily to your blogroll that have the closest amount of keywords related to yours, these are 1 way links ONLY, for each link you give you get 1 link in return.Link exchanges look bad in SEO, so instead of a traditional Link exchange, we will have link loops. For instance: We have the top 9 websites for a certain keyword: site1 - links to 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9site2 - links to 1, 3, 4, 7, 9site3 etc... It would make sure that it links to a couple sites of higher ranks and some of lower.site4site5site6site7site8site9The goal is to strategically place blogroll links through out a network of blogs, that will ultimately do the most good.Next. You will choose 10 keywords that you want your site to be recognized under. The widget will then search member websites for those keywords and randomly link them up to your site, and the other sites that share that keyword. There's a lot more involved, but this is a start, --What do you think of the idea?Anyone think you have the programming skills to make it work?If so, I have also designed a great way to monetize this program.Just let me know. Also, another possibilty - to rotate adsense codes through out the network so that you could <- snipped -> on your site, and earn someone else some money, and they could do the same for you, without either being liable or getting penalized. The goal would be to make it all invisible to google, and untrackable. The goal also is to be able to take one site that is say in 4th place on alexa, or a pr of 4, and slowly push it up to 5 or 6 on google, and 2 or 3 on alexa.
  12. How much do you know about Dennis Kucinich? Are you a fan?or do you think he's a Nutjob?Personally I think he's one of the best allies of the little guy, that we have in congress. If had to choose who I want for president it would be in this order:KucinichEdwardsObamaRon PaulHuckabeeMitt Romney (and I'm even Mormon, but I don't like him, he's just really proud and full of himself)Satan aka GW BushHillary Clinton (As much as I despise republicans, I'd rather have a republican than Hillary Clinton.ALSO -- WHAT issues do you think are most important? My top issues:1. Get OUT of Iraq.2. Universal Single Payer Healthcare for ALL Americans.3. Get Big Money, and Corporations out of the Election Process.4. Get rid of government bloat, and make each state more empowered.5. Media Reform, to go along with election Reform - - I think each personwho wants to run, should be able to regardless of how much money, I thinkthe media outlets shold be required to give FREE ads eqally to all candidates.6. Major education reform, and paid Education through College.etc.....Let me know your opinions
  13. I think that there must be a life after death. I think that the major proof of this matter is the millions of Near-Death Expeiences world wide, ask anyone who has died and come back and they will tell you without a doubt that there definitely is an aftelife.
  14. I believe, god is to this universe, as we are to our parents. In other words. God created everything that is, everything that we know of, and an infinite number of things we may never know. I also believe, that as we progress from this life, into the next life, as God's Children, we will be able to inherit his work. If we are indeed created in his image, then it bears reckoning that as children grow up to be productive members of society, we will grow up when we die to become partners with our Heavenly Father. I also believe that Heavenly Father, lived on a planet in another universe. I believe that he had a Father in Heaven, as well, our Grand-Heavenly Father, and that this could continue on for an infinite amount of generations.
  15. I definitely think "Christmas" ought to go, don't get me wrong but Christmas is a consumer spending holiday, and has lost all sense of traditionalism, and faith, and religious piety.Christ was not born in December, he was more likely born around April, 90% of the traditions we use for Christmas are actually pagan rituals. And it seems we worship Santa and Xbox more than we do Christ. That's why I have a solution....Christmas(or any holiday 2.0). We can have a Web 2.0, why can't we upgrade some other American traditions, like Holidays.Under my idea of Christmas 2.0, we would personally choose when to celebrate Christmas, our Christmas celebration wouldn't have to change too much, perhaps the christmas shopping would be easier, as Walmart and Toys R Us wouldn't be able to guess when everybody is having their Christmas Celebrations.Secondly, from a business's standpoint, instead of everyone taking off for Christmas in December, thus crippling your business, your employees would let you know if they're celebrating in February, or July.Next I think we should do some research and try and fit the message of the savior more into Christmas.Imagine if somebody, somewhere was having a Christmas celebration. If Christmas could happen anytime, or any day of the year. ... If we could have multiple Christmas's...etc...imagine there are so many thousands of people world wide, how many are making love right now as you read this? How many are taking someone else's life? How many are sleeping? How many are dieing of Cancer? How many are just being born, and beginning their great journey? I think it would be cool, to add the thought 'How many are celebrating Christmas tonight.." Perhaps if just one person celebrates christmas everyday, perhaps it will make a major difference to the whole world.Let me know what you think!
  16. I honestly think we have WAY too many laws in this country that are setup to target people who don't really deserve to be punished. For instance: Gays, what they do if it's wrong and they're going to hell, well they're only hurting themselves, and not anyone else. Illegal Immigrants - (I may be starting another civil cyber war here)...they may steal work from Americans, but that's because we haven't created the perfect statute yet, I think there's plenty of room in america, especially out west there's mile upon mile of open land, that isn't being used to live on. Also America was built on the premise of taking in weary travellers and helping people. I believe that there are 2 main things we need to focus on - 1. Making sure anyone who enters this country is paid the same wage as everyone else. 2. Everyone who crosses our border should be documented, but it shouldn't come with a threat of being de-ported, in fact it should be rewarded.3. I believe having a fence is a good idea, and having a school at the border where anyone who enters will be required to learn English, get a social security - like - number, put their fingerprints and signature on file. But I think anyone who can pass those three points should be allowed in.Next - there's non-violent drug offenders, yeah the drugs may hurt themselves, but if that's what they want to do with their life, it is upto them. Obese people(of which I am one), are addicted to food. The food they eat can in many ways make them as disabled as someone on drugs, but should they be imprisoned? If the government were smart they would take the less dangerous drugs like marijuana and make them legal, and put a tax on them, so that people on the street will no longer deal. This would also provide a lot of jobs and help end the war on drugs. If the army isn't fighting the druglords, drugs wouldn't be as scarce, if they weren't illegal, and hard to get they wouldn't cost so much for the consumer, consumers wouldn't need to steal drug money, etc etc.... a whole chain of positive effects. I myself abhor drugs, but people are rebellious in nature and tend to do what authority tells them not to, if authority tells them it's ok, they might be like..oh damn, what's the point then, I don't really like it that much anyways, I was just trying to piss off 'the man'.I also think the rich and famous should not receive added benefit for crimes done, for instance a big corporation, if they harm thousands of consumers then they should serve time for each person injured if that's life or not - they should've known better in the first place thats why we have corporate lawyers, if you know you're defrauding people you should serve more than 10-15 years without parole, regardless of how much money you have. Just think of all the interest you will have to spend when you get out - talk about a good retirement plan... Make 20,000,000 by 40, go to jail for 20, and when you retire you've got twice what you started for, for you to retire on..hehe..Just some of my thoughts about the system...I also think it is time for us to get on board with the rest of the nations of the world and get universal healthcare for every citizen in America. I also think that we should erradicate poverty and homelessness in our country before we start wars to try and save the rest of the world, serously there is a ton of poverty here in America, and if America was so good, then everyone in America would have a roof over their head if they so choose. Also, it's a fact the #1 deterrent to crime and poverty is education, perhaps we should change the way the education system of America works, I think for instance there should be free education from kindergarten through College - Professionals would then pay a tax of 5% per year to fund future generations....Etc ....Etc.... Etc..... We just need to lower the age limits for congress, and presidency and get some people in office who are in our generation to make a change.
  17. I think a woman, would be a good change...under normal circumstances...Women are (sometimes) more rational, more likely to talk and be diplomatic, and less likely to go off to some uncalled for war against some threat that doesn't even exist (cough)Iraq(cough).HOWEVER - I also think women's lib has turned families upside down, as more and more children are raised in daycare - I believe it's fine for a woman to work, AS Long as her kids aren't neglected, or put into daycare ....It's the woman's responsibility to raise a family if she can, that's why God gave them the ability to have children.I think someone who's retired though and her children have moved out would definitely be able to run a country..If that idiot son of a bastard aka GW Bush, can try to run the country, well... I think anyone can lol.. I mean I could do a better job.I do have one peeve though -- Although I support the possibility of a woman in office, I would NEVER ever support Hillary Clinton, in fact I might turn republican if she were to win the primaries.I'm extremely glad Barack Obama won in Iowa, I hope he goes all the way. Actually my vote would've been for Dennis Kucinich, or John Edwards, or Ron Paul if I was voting republican. But anyways that's all I got to say about that...
  18. I think being gay is perfectly alright, and even gay marriages. I admit, I have popped the occassional gay joke, and would be somewhat uncomfortable around someone who is gay,but I also believe extremely strong in one's right to freedom. Freedom to live life as they please.Whether it's Religious Intolerance, Racial Intolerance, or Sexuality Intolerance, it's all the same thing.I'm also an avid Mormon, and it does go somewhat against our main teachings as well as many teachings, butI always think of what Jesus said - "Judge not, lest ye be judged". It's not up to US to decide if it is or isn't right. It's up to us to live our OWN lives the best we can, until we are perfect ourselves, then and only then can we point outour brother's faults. That can be applied to lots of things, including all these stupid wars, you'd think with the internet and the open communication from country to country we'd be able to stop wars altogether.Yeah, sometimes it's needed, especially if you've been attacked, but this war in iraq is insane, In my opinion, homosexuality is more correct, righteous, etc... than this mindless killing in Iraq, and ignorance of other countries that really could use our help like Kenya or Darfur. We've spent 2,000,000,000,000+ on this war. Of that we've killed approximately 20,000 insurgents, 10,000 of our own troops, and 50,000 innocent civilians in iraq -- now tell me... that's 80,000 people dead (because we decided Hussein wasn't fit to stay in office, and faked proof that they were somehow tied to 9/11, and had weapons of mass destruction) Tell me, is one man, and the 3000 deaths at the WTC, (if iraq really was responsible which we now know for a fact they weren't)....Do the $80,000 new death's justify or make right or forgive the 3000 lost at the WTC? Of course not, that was 3,000 this is 80,000. It's insane... One more fact: If you multiply that all otu, we've spent $250,000 per person to kill each of the 80,000 (that's just going on a 2 trillion dollar estimate, which may be short...)...Now tell me... What are we really fighting for...imagine if we turned that money towards something actually worthwhile, like aids research, stemcell research, ending world hunger, ending poverty, fixing America....Sorry, I've gotten off on a tangent, but I hate how everyone hides behind this issue, when the bigger issue is murder, which is a mcuh worse crime than homosexuality, and it seems that's all that's happening everywhere...it's just really sad.Anyways, I'll leave ya with that to chew on. hehe... Happy New Year - hopefully the last in Iraq!
  19. I'm totally against abortion except in the case where the woman's health is endangered, or maybe in the case of rape, but once the egg and the sperm meet, it becomes a real baby, if you made a mistake, having sex without a condom or the condom breaks then take the stupid 72 hour pill, instead of killing an innocent baby. I think for being so unresponsible you should have to endure the pregnancy and pain as your punishment then put the child up for adoption, no child needs to die. (Please don't think I'm a right wing nut job for saying this... I hate Bush, and I hate the war on Iraq, and the Religious Right Wing Nuts, but this is one issue I concur with them on).
  20. I hate drugs, think they're disgusting and a waste of time, but I also believe in freedom, and equality, and think people should be able to pollute their own bodies if they so choose, as long as they don't hurt anyone else. Besides it's not like the current war on drugs is winning, so maybe try another tactic, at least if drugs were legal, we could tax the hell out of the industry and nobody would have to pay taxes.
  21. I'm totally addicted to sugar, and soda, and it totally sucks. I weigh 530 lbs. I'd like to be on biggest loser, and maybe finally lose the weight, but that might be scary too. But hey it's life, right? Maybe I'll make $100,000 this year with my blog, and be able to pay for gastric bypass surgery.
  22. All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth....seriously, well half of the right front tooth chipped off this month, lol and I can't afford the dental to fix it.To not 'have to' go see the in-laws would be a nice surprise too.To be rich, and famous, or heck just a little popular(or at least for my website to get more popular).Ok, a Million dollars would be nice too, but I might settle for a 54" plasma tv. I'm not greedy.Maybe a $3,000 laptop too go with it. I'd like santa to magically direct everyone's mouse clicker to links pointing to my site and make them click in, see howwonderful my site looks, then decide they're going to subscribe to my RSS Feed.I'd like to see people unsubscribe from John Chow, close his webpage, pretend he doesn't exist for one month and maybe he will disappear, cause that *BLEEP* annoy's me something fierce, seriously let some of the rest of us make $10,000 a month with our blogs too, ya dumbass lol.And this is my 2007 Christmas Rant...
  23. Ebay used to be easier to make money on, now it seems the competition is huge, in fact it's huge all over the internet. The best and fastest way to make money may be to actually go out and get a job, or if you're smart enough, write a business plan and get some investors and start a brick and mortar business, or if you can program you can start the next facebook, or myspace. That's where the real money is!
  24. Has anyone here practiced or received Reiki at all?Reiki is a pretty cool mode of healing, founded by a guy named Usui in China back in the late 1800's early 1900's.Just curious if anyone else here has any experience with it.
  25. Widgetbux is a great program I'm sured, but I have noticed their ads can slow your site down, But they are definitely a good alternative to google. I use google, but lately I'm not getting crap for my traffic. I'm thinking maybe the other ad networks are worth a try.
