  1. What is the site to report it? Is the Send Feedback enough? I also think that it happens when something went wrong in the file extraction because I was able to extract other Zip files no problem, but when I unzipped another, it happened again.
  2. I just encountered something while using Windows 7. I was unzipping the wordpress zip file that I just got from the wordpress site. After unzipping it, if I open any program at all, I get an error message saying "The filename or extension is too long." in every program I open and windows explorer would not respond. Anybody had that already?
  3. Since it is still in the beta stage and released just weeks ago, companies still do not support it. As of now, stepping up from XP to Windows 7 will be up to the user. If you like to tinker with the OS and learn how to use it, then go for it, If you have no time to find out how things work, then stick to XP for the meantime. I, for one, changed from XP to Windows 7 because I was curious if it is better than Vista since Vista lags in comparison with XP. (It took Vista longer to load on a better computer than XP in a crappy one.) Also, I thought of reformatting my HDD because it was really messy already with lots of stuff that I do not need anymore. If ever something arises from Windows 7, I'll just backup all my files and reformat it to XP again.
  4. I also loved to eat balut when I was young (as in 7 years old), though I do not eat the chick/fetus since I feel that it was too gross to eat it especially when it already has feathers. My grandmother usually buys it for me.After seeing this topic, I miss eating balut.(I wish a balut vendor would pass by for me to buy one.)
  5. I live in the Philippines, one of the most corrupt country in the world. I hope that the next election would turn to be a blessing. Though corrupt, it is a beautiful (in terms of scenic beauty) country to be living in, especially in the provinces.
  6. Link please.Although a 7 inch cellphone is nice, the practical use is very limited. Nowadays, some phones can access the net thru Wi-Fi which is nice. Since these types of phones are usually 3G capable, it will most likely have a good video display which begs to question why would someone need a bigger screen if the battery life would suffer. I think that just making a normal 3G cellphone with Skype and Wi-Fi would be enough. Also something that big would not be easy to use.
  7. The first e-mail that I used was Hotmail, but then Yahoo increased its space so I switched there. Then came Gmail. Now I use Gmail as my primary email, scraped Hotmail since it was the worst among the three. I only use Yahoo since I use Yahoo Messenger and Yahoo Groups.
  8. Why would someone uninstall IE? Even though Firefox is better than IE and becoming a standard in almost all PCs with internet access, Firefox still cannot show some sites correctly. You'll still need IE for that matter and it would be really a downer if you'll be installing it again. Also, Windows always uses IE to connect to the internet.
  9. My favorite movies are (in no specific order since I like all of them):1. Pirates of the Caribbean2. Lord of the Rings3. The Incredible Hulk4. The Dark Knight5. Iron Man
  10. I have been wondering about it also. Some of the topics are useful but some are not. I think it would be nice to move them to a section just to archive them and close them if the topic does not need to be discussed anymore.
  11. If I were to buy more RAM (I have 2GB in my disposal right now), I would want to make the most out of them. I would prefer to use a low RAM consuming OS rather than a high RAM consuming one given that both can run the same software. I think the best bet for XP to retire is to not create good software for XP and fully support any new Microsoft OS.
  12. depending on what your plan provides you. But I think any plan here gives you at least 1 parked domain for free. You could also see how many parked domains you could have just by looking at the left side of the cpanel. There should be a bar labeled parked domain and the number of allowable parked domains you could have.
  13. If you have an existing domain name, you have 2 choices. Its B or C.Now, you cannot understand what B or C means so:Choice B: You want to transfer your domain from a different provider to Xisto. Example: You hosted your domain from GoDaddy, but you saw that Xisto has a better pricing for the domain so you would like to change from GoDaddy to Xisto.Choice C: You already have a domain and would not want to transfer it to Xisto. I think this is the choice you wanted because you already have a domain name. What you did was the right one. If your domain is , type *** at the second edit box and com.cn at the third. If you already have the hosting, just change the nameserver of your domain to point to the name server provided by Xisto.I do not know what the nameserver is, so if anyone knows, please reply. Thanks
  14. I would prefer a paid anti-virus rather than a free one in terms of security from viruses. But because I am cheap, I use free ones rather than the paid ones just because they are free. I have used Trend Micro's and Sophos in the past but both of them are paid. (I used the license from my father's office) After awhile, my father told me to just use a free one since free anti-virus are popping up like mushrooms. From that point on, I used AVG and it is the best for me. (It has the interface that I was comfortable with) The best anti-virus would depend on the user. For me, AVG is the best free anti-virus.
  15. For me, anything but bright colors are a good eye friendly design. Also, colors that compliment each other tend to look good. I prefer different shades of blue, red and green in designing my sites.
