A simulator has full physics, simulation all aspects that make a difference to driving. Some of these are full suspension simulation, friction models, tyre deformation models, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics and many more.You actually need a wheel to drive right, because there are no driving aids (apart from the ones that really exist in cars, such as ABS and TC). I bought a very expensive sony vaio a few years ago, but the dvd drive failed on me after a year and it didnt have any boot options for booting from usb. (it doesnt have an a: floppy either). However, I did create an XP partition using driveimage 7 (when the dvd drive was working), so if I ever needed to reinstall windows I could boot one of the 2 XP partitions and restore the drive using the windows XP driveimage environment. My question is, if I cant get into dos (coz the XP doesnt allow you to do that, and since I don't have a dvd drive) how can I create a partition which has my recoevery cd iso of choice on it (eg Hirens cd or BartPE)? I would have to go with XP as well. It doesn't need alot of resources(256megs) to run, alot of drivers are for it, and there are many great games that run only on XP. When games don't require modification to run on Linux, then Linux shall outperform them all. Linux is a much more complex OS but there are so many different versions for it, hackers don't bother writing viruses for it. If XP didn't have such a huge virus target due to so many users, it would be a great OS but Linux once again doesn't get viruses. -reply by Justin

Maybe an answerMy Dog Pukes RegularlyOkay, my Lab is 6. All of the sudden last year she started puking. It was more common after eating and drinking. The flags went up when it was everytime she drank water. We took her to the vet and he kept her for the afternoon and took some xrays. He felt there was a restriction between the stomach and the intestines. After all she did get into the trash a few days earlier and got some corn on the cob. After the surgery he found nothing but some swelling between the 2. 1200 dollars... She now takes some antacid 3 times daily and thats only controls it. Internet research says there is some "twisted stomach thing" that causes the same symptoms. As someone stated earlier, they shouldnt get exercised immediately after eating.I hate cleaning up pukeBut we love her more.Any other news anyone got would be appreciated.Jim in oregon
