Bush vs Kerry whou would you vote if you were able to?
iGuest replied to Schweden's topic in General Discussion
I am able to vote this election year. But I'm not sure if there is a candidate worth voting for. The two biggest options are Kerry and Bush and both are rather sleezy to me. The problem I have with Bush is mostly due to the fact that the war with Iraq is ongoing. We should have left that country a while ago. Instead, our troops are still there, still fighting, and still dying and a daily bases. It's just stupid. They don't want us there and our troops want to come home! Personally I think Bush is on a "Power Trip." Granted, getting rid of Sadam was a good idea, but when you overexceed your welcome, you should leave. We have most deffinately overexceeded our welcome in that country. As for Kerry... This guy just seems like and idiot to me. He can't keep his position straight. One minute he is for a cause, the next he's against it. Make up your damned mind, Kerry! Not to mention, he wont shut up about the war in Iraq and how bad of a job Bush is doing. Hello! The American public already knows this... We don't need it repeated over and over again... If, and I do stress that word, I vote this election year, it will most deffinately not be for either the BUSH campaign or the KERRY campaign. I would probably vote for someone who isn't as likely to win and hope that he does. Maybe we'll have a intelligent president for a change and not someone trying to live up to daddy's reputation... The last movie I saw was The Princess Diaries II. I liked it! It was very funny and a little more creative than the first. But overall, the first was better, simply because it had a way better storyline and it wasn't as predictable as the second. But, sequals usually aren't as good as the original... Later, J. (TS)

Shyper Shyper Webhosting ElfBoys If this host could actually quit going offline, it wouldn't be half bad. But they keep deleting stuff and the MySQL database keeps disappearing and your pages disappear... It's very obnoxious. Later, J. (TS)

All of your sites are very well designed and look great! But on one of your sites BrainProductions you need to get rid of the music. Most people (not all) hate when webmasters add music to their sites that can't be turned off. I, for one, am one of the people who hate it... It's annoying when you are already listening to music on your own player... Just thought I would let you know. Later, J. (TS)

I don't get why people are all over Microsoft and the Windows OS's... I personally think the windows is the best OS, just because it's reliable. Linux is Open-Source, sure! But how reliable is that!! I would prefer to buy and expensive program over something that isn't garanteed to be safe to use. I use Win XP Home Ed. With Avant Web Browser... I like windows a lot more than any other OS. Not to mention, have you ever really seen ANY software for sell that says "Linux" on the OS requirements? No! It is almost all made for Windows... Later, J. (TS)

I haven't posted the required number of posts to be able to apply for hosting. But once I have, my site will be a web-based community for young gay men. Nothing explicit, but it will mostly revolve around support, education and friendship. Anyone, no matter what gender or sexual oreantation would be welcome to join in and help out. The only requirement is that everyone treats everyone with respect and follow all the same rules. Hopefully, the people around this forum are accepting of this type of site. I've run into many people on previous hosts who put up a big fuss about it. Go figure! My site's title will be ElfBoys. When I get hosted, you are all welcome to visit and take a peek... Later, J. I don't really see the point or "coolness" in knowing the age group of the overall members in this forum. It doesn't really make a difference really. A 16 year old could have more programing knowledge than a 35 year old. Doesn't really apply to ages anymore. But, since this topic was brought to the front... Why not? Later, J. (TS) P.S. 18 here...

I would have to say PHPBB2 is the best PHP board around. The're working on releasing the new 2.2.x version of the board sometime this year and the features for this new version quite outdue themselves from what I've read about them. It will be a lot better than Invision Powerboards, VBulletin, ect.. ect. But it is more likely that preferance in features will play a big part in the board you choose to go with. Invision has features that PHPBB does not have yet and vise-versa. So, I would visit each of their sites and compare the features. See which one you like best. (what features you need will determine which board is best for you) Later, J. (TS) P.S. PHPbb also has a mods section which will allow you to extend the current version of phpbb to include features that aren't built in already. There is a very large list of mods for the board on their site.

Hey all, I'm new to the trap and these boards. I figured I would see what all I'm able to do here. There is one thing yall can help me with... Could you link me to a site that has excellent tutorials on learning to use PHP. I'm an experiance designer in HTML & CSS, but PHP is still quite new to me, so I would like to read up on it a bit before I attempt using it to construct a website. All referance and tutorial site links are welcome. I like having many options at hand. So, whatever you can provide will be great. Thanks in advance, J. (TS)

I use Web encoder 5 from TSware. It's has many features that are very useful for webdesign and development. For newbies in web design, it also has a script helper and it's own FTP program. I think it's the best. But the best feature about this software is that it's FREE!! Later, J. (TS)

Best Stuff for Free i would like to know
iGuest replied to PenDragon's topic in Websites and Web Designing
If you are searching for a free editor, there is an awesome free editor that is available online. I don't know what I would do without it. It's called "TSW Webcoder 5," it's the newest version of the software. You can find it at: TSWare. If you want to know all the features available for this software, read about it on their site. Trust me when I say it's the best, for free software anyway... Later, J. (TS) -

Antivirus most efficient antivirus software ?
iGuest replied to spawn_syxx9's topic in General Discussion
The best anti-virus software I have seen online so far would have to be Avast! Anti-Virus. It is an awesome anti-virus program that give free virus database updates. It usually updates itself whenever a new file becomes available, it also has a process watch and, optionally, you are able to set it up so that it watches incoming files from the net. If you somehow get a virus on your computer, Avast anti-virus will inform you by popping up and actually saying "Warning, you have a virus on your computer." Just search for Avast! on google or any other search engine you like! It's a fairly well-listed site, so you should be able to find it with no problems. Later, J. (TS) -

Hi all. I've been working on Mandrake, RedHat.Now I use FreeBSD. Seem to be very robust and stable. Everything you can get from one point - it's ports collection on https://www.freebsd.org/. One problem - there is no ALSA driver for it.What do you think about FreeBSD and Linux?
