  1. You heard me right - There's a FREE XHTML 1.1 editor at this link: http://xstandard.com/default.asp. After reading about XStandard Lite, I wasted no time in downloading it to my computer. That was some months ago and I haven't yet got around to testing it out! I guess I just like to manually code my sites...
  2. Yup.Reckon Microsoft is a misspelling, - it should read Microstuft'
  3. Oh!!! Good Point!! That bring another problem here: Should all promote the site among our people and with the world around us. :!:

  9. I don't understand what part of your website you're trying to remove scrollbars from. In CSS you can force it to not display scroll bars. Myabe that can help.skyglow1
  10. the old testament was written in ancient hebrew, and the new testament was written in ancient greek. its really only been rewritten once, in a manner of speaking, because its been translated into many different languages, and into many different versions, but it has only been translated from hebrew and greek to another language, never more than that. and the comparisons between the current bible and scrolls of the bible dug up are almost exactly the same, which is very uncommon. the reason there are so many versions is because the bible had to be translated from two ancient languages to modern ones, and some words are hard to translate and alot of it was in ancient terminology, and translators have tried very hard to make the most acurate tranlsation they could.
  11. CSS is a very useful thing. Here is explanation. I am quoting from this website: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Here is a very good introudscution to CSS: http://wendypeck.com/css101.html and an even better one: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ CSS is really cool because for me it allowed me to edit the whole look of my website in one go and made my website soooo much easier to handle. Dreamweaver can be used for writing CSS, but basic notepad can be used to write it manually which is what I do. skyglow1

    IE :-(

I guess Windows is ok, I thought about making my PC a dual boot, so i could choose which operating system when i start the computer, but i don't have enough room and I've heard it's alot of work, and I really wanted Linux because it's supposed to have fast distributions, but I really only need more speed when im gaming  and of course, windows has the monopoly on games, so i just stuck with windows
  15. Hey, guys, what about Linux???No viruses (I think) and free, bwahahahaha, oh, and also runs on the same hardware as Windows, so much cheaper than mac!The only problem is no compatibility with games and stuff, but I think I'll try using it on the side and partitioning my hard drive to multiboot it sometime, not that I know what I'm doing (last time, I screwed up my computer, oops, but this time'll be better.....I hope)Which Linux, version is the best, anyone know? Suse or Mandrake or Red Hat? Any suggestions?kiwi
  16. Yeah i wasnt tryin to start anythin but anyways macs are still cool same with windows:)
  17. Hey, nice computer!!!I almost built my own, but then decided on a beefed up system from a store instead, cause building my own would've cost much more (unless I ran Linux or some "free" software ). I would've gotten a better computer, though....Hehe, I got a fancy case with blue lights (pretty much useless, I know, but cool!) ooh, and I also added a 120 GB WD hard drive, so now I have 280 GB internal and 40 GB external storage, yay! It's fun to play with computers! What do you use your computer for? Hard core gaming?kiwi

  24. When windows crashes or is otherwise shut down improperly, it sometimes corrupt one or more files. It is these corrupted files there are being truncated to prevent windows from using them - and crash again. If your computer works allright you can ignore it (since you can't do anything about it), but you should keep in mind that the moore times this happens, the moore likely it is that you one day will find part of windows malfunctioning, or be unable to boot altogether. It is a good idea to take the time to set your computer up from scratch and whem it is just as you want it,take an image of your c drive. If you reload this image every 3 months, you know your computer is always spic and span.
