from an Aboriginal world view both are incompatible with us but we don't want to ban anyone - everyone has their own way, that's what we think. Just don't push it on us. We don't push our way on others. We just try to protect it FROM others. Shouldn't need to though.

But what do you think about all that stuff going on in the states about them trying to ban/hinder teaching of evolution and replace it with teaching "logical creation" or something along the lines saying that god created everything.I know that this is a flammable topic, so let's all respect eachothers' opinions.I didn't want to create a whole new topic because this is almost the same and just in case this post gets no response.

oh well since the debate has stated...yes i do smokeyes i would like to stop smoking because it is really pointlessbut no i don't plan on giving up any time in the near future why? because i like my ciggy with my coffee, i like my ciggy with my tea, i like my ciggy with my pint ...i like my ciggynow in saying that i only smoke about 10 a day more on weekends when i'm on the piss.and as for banning smoking... i live in ireland and last year they started a ban on smoking in the workplace restaurant pubs the whole lot (indoors) with restaurant i guess fair enough who likes smoke in your face when your trying to eat BUT in the pub.... FFS if you don't like it stand somewhere else... pubs should provide good venting to take out the smoke and replace it with clean air......in the meantime all us irish will be standing outside the pubs this winter ...can't wait!

I use FireFox 80% of the time on my Mac Os X machine. Mac's own Safari is great too, but FireFox is much more flexible. Actually: Apple's own Safrai has trouble printing. Firefox does a much better job with printing. As you may know, Microsoft has stopped development of MS-Explorer for Mac. That's ok with me! But there are pages out there, that are developed for a specific browser (typcially MS-Explorer for PC) and look weird in other browsers like Firefox. That's not Firefox's fault, but the web-developer that needs glasses!Regards,davidw

I'm using both IE and Firefox. Found no problems with firefox yet... And I'm enjoying it very much.Microsoft has improved IE, it now has a lot of new protection, including popups and activeX stuff, and it works. After all that improvments, I like IE once again. At this moment, I put these two software in the same level. The prize goes to Firefox though, it is free, and it is not Microsoft. Microsoft is a a lot to me... a lot of good software, with a lot of bugs that make it bad software, a lot of patches and service packs, a lot of problems, and a lot of instability.

I guess it depends on whether you need to get complex work done on a tight deadline schedule with no crashing or viruses. If you've got lots of time to fix and cannibalise the box instead of use it to produce stuff - get a PC.

Firefox is still in its early years. it will get better.

I use Download Accelerator Plus. I believe it is one of the best. It have a lot of features. In some files, it even alows you to choose alternative source locations, mesuring the delay between you and each of the alternatives. Not mentioning other features, this one isn't even the main.

What you need a download manager for?I used to use gozilla (on dial up) a couple of years ago. And it did more bad than good.
