Have a look at postnuke. It's similar to phpnuke. A different one is Mambo.

U2 is one of the best bands ever!

Does anyone know this great band? Take a look here for more informations: http://www.meshuggah.net/ One of the most original heavy band of the last years. Trully amazing sound. Definitively inovative. Fantastic composition. Interesting lyrics. Listen to them if you have a chance. And try to rearange the puzzle that their music is.

Hey lastlegion, Why can't they just make it one single download? You really think no one would have done this? There are a lot of All-in-one packages that has Apache, MySQL and PHP, of course we're talking Windows users here, Linux users already benefit or know how to benefit from this. https://sourceforge.net/projects/phphome/ PHPHome2 is an All-in-one package, I know there are others out there all capable of the same thing, but I only used this program to learn how they use to install all the software onto Windows. I then went off and wrote a tutorial on creating your own local webserver with all those packages and more. Can not locate that tutorial anymore, but I might redo it again, but a more stable version, basically I covered PHP5, which I don't think we're ready for yet, till more PHP applications switch over to it. Cheers, MC

I'd suggest checking your local library. In their computer section they may have linux books that include distros on CD-ROM. I was able to get Fedora Core 2 and Red Hat 9, along with a book that that helps you get started. I'd look at the library, but, unfortunately, since I've moved, I have no idea where the local library is. Besides, I'm getting ADSL soon, so I can just download a copy of Redhat, or something. o_o

Look in the php manual for anything mysql_* where * is a wildcard, these will be the majority of what you'd be wanting. mysql_query() would answer your question, but you first would need to mysql_connect(). I think that's enough information to get you started. Well happy trailings. Cheers, MC
