I know realism isn't what makes a show enjoyable or not. But I tend to prefer more realistic shows. I like Monk a lot. It even had an episode last year that made fun of shows like CSI: wherever and all their fictional, made-up technologies they used. Like Sherlock Holmes, I think the most intriguing crime stories, whether written or filmed, are ones with a super-smart, super-observant, intuitive, creative-thinking investigator. It seems like a major cop-out to be able to "computer-hack" or invent some new, totally unreasonable machine to pick out the One Important Clue. True detective work is about piecing lots of little, subtle clues together into a coherent picture.

I heard you could password protect whole sections of content with an .htaccess file (or something like that). How does this whole thing work? Anyone use it at all? Any tips/advice?

I can ALWAYS tell what the major plot twists in movies and the ending is going to be. This one took me TOTALLY by surprise. I like being surprised by unpredictable films. The only other film with this shocking and unpredictable of a reveal that I have ever seen is Memento.As far as the quality of the film, It is an above average film for wide release, average for an indie film.

Has to be "My Blue Heaven" with Steve Martin. I usually like Steve, but in this one he plays a NYC Mob guy. He does the most hideous and inconsistent brooklyn accent ever attempted on screen. And he really doesn't get the whole gangster acting thing either. At all. That combined with a very contrived, poorly written story, horrible casting, horrible directing, horrible photography, and horrible acting makes it very unwatchable. It belongs in a MST xK archive somewhere.

ipb is great..i personally use it on my site. It has alot of great skin and tons of support forums all over the net. Not to menstion the mods/hacks and portals that it supports.The admincp isnt that bad too...i prefer ipb
