Simcountry FREE online sim country country game
iGuest replied to penny665's topic in Computer Gaming
I've been playing it for a couple of weeks now and I think its a darn good game. Now at first I was a touch overwhelmed by it all and it is like running a country but now I am on top of it I am starting to develop and although I am finding it hard to get my hiring and production up I am confident that will work itself out soon.It is a very in-depth game where you have to think tactically, Do I attack an unowned country? Do I attack wait to build up my military, What do I do? but once you have your country on its feet (or baby feet as the case is for me) it really starts getting interesting because now I am expanding to build up my empire and get more citizens for my cooperations.Definitely a game a tactician should play. Now just for a quick note I was put off by the home page but its far better than it looks.-Dan Carter -
My biggest problems are: Certain emails, when saved, cannot be accessed as they split up into folders. spellcheck in emails will not work beyond the subject line. So I have to check each email myself or write them in word before I cut and paste. This is very time consuming. Sending word, excel or pdf files and pictures cannot be opened by the recipients, in some cases they can if I send a Vista converter, but this is a business hindrance as my clients just disregard my emails and the contents. Many of my programs that are proprietary to my suppliers and work on XP, do not work on Vista. Vista is a business disaster for me and it will be very difficult to backtrack now. Microsoft did not advise of all of these potential problems. Is there legal action one can take ?

Its easy to get original copies in China. Would you spend $50 = Y375 on a game? Considering where Y2000 is the average household monthly income? While around the corner, you can get the same game for about Y10 = $1.33? Its great when your sitting in your parent\'s living room ordering pizza and smoking weed playing video games, but when you consider the opportunity cost of Chinese people, pirating doesn't seem that far off. They just want a normal life and some luxuries the Americans have.

<?php$con = mysql_connect("localhost","user","password");if (!$con){ die('<p>Could not connect: ' . mysql_error() . '</p>');}mysql_select_db("database", $con);$ip = $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];echo "Adding MXP info...";mysql_query ("INSERT INTO mxp (date, user, victim, turns, side, gold, lost, killed, mxp, points_b, points_a, type, power, ip) VALUES ('$_POST[date]','$_POST[user]','$_POST[victim]','$_POST[turns]','$_POST[side]','$_POST[gold]','$_POST[lost]','$_POST[killed]','$_POST[mxp]','$_POST[points_b]','$_POST[points_a]','$_POST[battle]','$_POST[power]','$ip');");echo "<h3>Your MXP information record has been added to the database.</h3>";?> Try That. You'd forgotten to put quotation marks around the query, and had forgotten to end the parentheses (You only ended the VALUES set) -
Is it possible to make animated images using PHP's GD library?I've done searches, and I can't find anything that explains it fully, or doesn't need you to download a special program, which obviously, I couldn't use with Xisto. Can anyone help? I'm not aure how animated gifs work, I don't know if all the frames are compressed within the .gif file as separate images, or whether it's structured another way.

Start the Opera Browser, Select Tools, Preferences, Advanced, and there will be options for your Cache Size, How often it checks the Server, or if in fact it should cache pages. Play with it to see what works for you.

Have you seen the menus at this site yet? Pure CSS, no javascript required, cross-browser, drop-down, fly-out, what ever suits your fancy.

I used AVG for several years and recently converted to NOD-32, too.Small, no lag, updates are efficient and don't bog down the system. Worth the money.

Hi. Recently I've been working on a slightly new design of my website, that includes a new menu-oriented menu system, because I was running out of room in the navigation bar. How the system works, is you put the mouse over a link, and a menu drops down with all the links in that category. Most of this is working perfectly. I can get the menu to popup and go away, and it appears perfectly. The one thing wrong with it is I can't get it to appear in the right place. Every link in the navigation bar is in it's own td, and all tds have a unique id (navtd1, navtd2, etc.).How can I get the position of the td, when it isn't absolute? I had a look through a JavaScript reference pdf, and there were a few functions like pixelLeft, pixelRight that looked promising, but they didn't work, and were only for IE anyway.Does anyone know how to get the position?

I personally prefer html. xhtml is edsigned to be strict, but it isn't like you can't be strict with html. And I think some parts of xhtml are unnecessary, such as /> at the end of tags that don't have a closing tag. I personally think that having a tag like this: <br /> looks alot messier than a tag like this: <br>. But that's just my opinion. I don't like unnecessary spaces.
