  1. I've played Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge and like most of you here, I also think it's the best Command & Conquer game ever. And the Tesla Troops are really cool, and so are the Masterminds and Flying Saucers and, of course, Tanya. It's a really good game. If you've never played it before, I'd suggest you play it now. Maybe it is a bit old, but what the hell, it's a really fun game.
  2. Try Minix, visit their official site here Supposedly, it contains only 4000 lines of code, and can run off a 386 processor with only 8 MB of RAM. You can download it as a live CD, but it is also possible to install it onto a Hard Disk.
  3. I'd recommend you use the Firefox extension IE Tab
  4. Amazon S3 is really good. It's the best and most economical storage solution if you want to store a lot of files. i heard SmugMug uses S3.
  5. Umm, what exactly is a CDMA cell phone?
  6. It's a good technology, and it sure beats Adobe Flex. The only problem I see is Linux compatibility.Silverlight (aka Windows Presentation Foundation/Everywhere) is coded with JavaScript and XAML, while Adobe Flex applications are coded through ActionScript, so the coding is pretty much the same.I think that Silverlight will win the "war", but I don't know...
  7. Or this site might help. Click Here
  8. Yeah, this is really disturbing. I wouldn't want to be turned into a diamond. But I guess some people think that's good.I don't know
  9. And the rest are free, although, of course, they're not as good. For example: Game Maker Quest Creator And etcetera.
  10. Depends on what you want. If you want high compression, use WinRar (or even 7zip), but if you want to distribute some files to a lot on people, use WinZip, because although not everybosy has WinZip, XP, Vista and some Linux distros natively support Zip files.Well, there's my two cents...
  11. Download Windows Live Mail. It's kinda like the old Outlook, so you might find it useful.
  12. Um, can anyone tell me whether it's free?
  13. If it's SMF 1.1, you can convert it using the software on this webpage.
  14. Almost every major programming language has a "server pages" thing now.
  15. I'd recommend Amarok for a music player, but you need to download KDE for it. However, if you do download it, you'll also have KTorrent, which is one of the best torrent clients for Linux.
  16. Yeah, it's very easy. Maybe you should download Macromedia Dreamweaver.
  17. I've only used Silverlight and Flex, but I honestly think Silverlight will "win the race". Flex applications take WAY too much time to load.
  18. Well, you could use Wimpy, but it's not free. There are lots of free Flash MP3 streamers but I don't think there are any that support video.
  19. It is possible. Check out this site.
  20. I only use the BitTorrent Protocol for P2P downloads, and my client is Utorrent. It has a LOT of features, and it's only ~200KB in size.
