I've played Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge and like most of you here, I also think it's the best Command & Conquer game ever. And the Tesla Troops are really cool, and so are the Masterminds and Flying Saucers and, of course, Tanya. It's a really good game. If you've never played it before, I'd suggest you play it now. Maybe it is a bit old, but what the hell, it's a really fun game.

Try Minix, visit their official site here Supposedly, it contains only 4000 lines of code, and can run off a 386 processor with only 8 MB of RAM. You can download it as a live CD, but it is also possible to install it onto a Hard Disk.

I'd recommend you use the Firefox extension IE Tab

It's a good technology, and it sure beats Adobe Flex. The only problem I see is Linux compatibility.Silverlight (aka Windows Presentation Foundation/Everywhere) is coded with JavaScript and XAML, while Adobe Flex applications are coded through ActionScript, so the coding is pretty much the same.I think that Silverlight will win the "war", but I don't know...

And the rest are free, although, of course, they're not as good. For example: Game Maker Quest Creator And etcetera.

Depends on what you want. If you want high compression, use WinRar (or even 7zip), but if you want to distribute some files to a lot on people, use WinZip, because although not everybosy has WinZip, XP, Vista and some Linux distros natively support Zip files.Well, there's my two cents...

Media Player For Ubuntu What are the choices?

I'd recommend Amarok for a music player, but you need to download KDE for it. However, if you do download it, you'll also have KTorrent, which is one of the best torrent clients for Linux. -
