  1. Yes, Jim.It is now January 30th, 11.16 am, and when I type my CPanel URL, the issue is still there.Refreshing the page does not make any difference.
  2. Sorry. Opaque, but now, 7:37 GMT, I am still getting the error. This time as soon as I try to log in while, if I remember correctly, I only got the error message after entering my username and password earlier.I had even cleared my cache, but that did not make any difference.
  3. However, mamer, do not forget:it seems like the forum itself gives every single word in the title a capital letter.I noticed this a while back.
  4. OK, Opaque.Glad it is sorted now. When I saw the announcement, I did not know what to think, except for when I saw that .ru address and the sentence that Malicious software that was hosted there.Anyway, I am glad that it has not affected any of us and that access was blocked until it was fixed. No harm done, I would say, and thank you for looking into it.
  5. Hi, I tried to log in to my CPanel a few minutes ago (through my browser which is Google Chrome Version 24.0.1312.56 m, which is the latest version.). However, who can describe my astonishment when, all of a sudden, I get a Malware warning? (I have attached a screenshot, see below). I am quite sure there must be some mistake, as Xisto is the last place on earth I would suspect of sending Malware to the users' computers. Upon clicking the link where you can see more details, Chrome displayed the following: I thought it would be best to report this, hope I am doing it in the right place, and, as far as I can understand the explanation, it seems like a site hosted on Xisto - Web Hosting is sending out Malware. However, I do not think Xisto has anything to do with that directly, which is why I want to alert the people at Xisto, and I am sure the staff will be able to solve this problem. Hopefully we can get a bit of feedback after the situation has been resolved. Hope this was helpful.
  6. Thank you, Jim.I'm afraid "the system" will always be "the system" (ie. with all its flaws and injustices). However, they do sometimes make the right decision here and there. As I wrote, the good thing, apart from the financial aspect, is that at least some stress has been taken away, as stress is sometjing I can really do without the way I am at the moment.I also agree with you that there should be more compassion in decisions like this, or at least, compassion for the right people, because the way the system is at the moment, there IS indeed compassion, unfortunately that compassion applies to the wrong people most of the time.Anyway, I am happy with the outcome, and I thank you for your good wishes, Jim.
  7. I feel like a heavy weight has fallen from my shoulders. I went to my tribunal today where a decision would be made whether or not I was fit to return for work. However, that is not the only issue, because, while you are waiting for a decision, you also have to live on a reduced benefit (ESA, Employment Support Allowance). Being in that situation has already made things very difficult for us, because, after my medical assessment by ATOS (who and what they are you can find here), they even took all kinds of benefit away from us, until my appeal was received and launched, which took a good few weeks, so, we had to survive on crisis loans and such, those people seem to think people can live on thin air. I subsequently lost my appeal, because as they say "I did not produce any further medical evidence", in which case I do not know what they would call a very detailed letter my GP wrote about my overall physical condition. The only good thing was that, while awaiting my tribunal, which is what happens when you lose your appeal, at least our ESA was continued to be paid, but still at a reduced rate. I then kept living under pressure and worry, wondering what was going to happen at the tribunal, as I did not have a clue how things would go and as I assumed that they (DWP (Department for Work and Pensions), ATOS and the people that heard your tribunal) were all on the same side, so I feared that a tribunal would have been just a waste of time. It even came that far that, after my appeal, I was put on antidepressants and referred to talking Therapies in order to help me deal with all the stress and strain I was under and with my depression. However, when we arrived, before we went in, a Court Usher came to see us to collect any further evidence we might have, which we did, and also to give a brief explanation about what was going to happen. He said it was all very informal, just a magistrate and a doctor who were going to ask me some questions about my medical condition and hear me support my evidence. However, the next thing he said was much more important to me and at least gave me a glimmer of hope, he told us the people hearing my tribunal had nothing whatsoever to do with ATOS nor the DWP. As we were asked to go in, it was indeed a small room, with two people (a doctor and a magistrate, not wearing a robe or anything, and addressed as "Sir", not "Your Honour") sat at a bench in front. Nanna was allowed in with me, and was allowed to sit next to me, and was even allowed to speak up and support my evidence or to correct me where I might have forgotten things or have said things that were not 100% correct. They also listened carefully to everything we said, without interrupting and gave us ample time to answer all their questions very elaborately. The whole hearing took about 30 minutes, and then came the stressful thing, when the usher took us back to the waiting room while the two gentlemen made their decision. However, when we arrived, there was one couple before us in the waiting room, and they stayed in about half an hour, and when they were called in they were about five minutes, and then they came back telling us their appeal had been won (that too gave me a bit more hope). And, indeed, just a few minutes after we were lead out, the usher called us in again, and immediately, we had not even sat down yet, the magistrate told us "your appeal has been allowed" without going round in circles first, and the document stating their decision was already on the table in front of us. So, at least, there is some justice still. At least I will get a higher benefit now, and they will have to make a substantial back payment to us for all those months we have lived on the minimum. However, you are of course always better off living on wages you earn, but that is the problem at the moment, because, do not get me wrong, unlike some spongers, who feign illness in able to get paid for not working, I LOVE the job I used to do, but unfortunately my illness has made it quite impossible to do it, which were the magistrate's exact words, because, after considering all the evidence, their conclusion was that, in doing my job I would be at serious risk because of my heart condition. At least some stress has been taken away, hopefully that also has it effects on further developments of my health too. But I certainly feel that, after all the previous trouble we went through, justice has finally been done.

Well, folks, tomorrow is my big day.I have to attend my tribunal, where, so it appears, a doctor and a magistrate will consider whether my evidence (which they have already looked at long ago) outweighs the decision of the powers that be to decide if a) I am, or am not, fit for work and as a result of point a) I have to get the proper benefits which sick and disabled people get, or have to live on nothing, as if people can live on thin air.I am now going through all my evidence again, together with the letters that organisations and certain persons have written in support of me.I am, of course, not sure on how I will be allowed to present my evidence, will they make statements and will I have to try and refute them, or will they give me time to present my case, eg. by asking me "Could you outline on what evidence you base your claim that you are not able to work", or something similar?I have no idea, or will there be a totally different approach than what I am listing here?Either way, I do not feel very confident, it feels a bit to me that you, because of not being well, have to be treated like a criminal.I might have been told that I have a good case, but after all that has happened before, you might understand that I am not full of confidence.Anyway, I will know more tomorrow, in the mean time, keep your fingers crossed and wish me luck.I will certainly need it.
  9. It all looks interesting, Moodle was somewhat new to me, but I did definitely think about Google for online teaching purposes.Unfortunately, due to my health situation, I have had to put my plans on ice for now, but I still intend to go ahead with testing an online teaching system.I would not be using that system in any school (I do not think I would find many schools (if any) who would allow you to teach from home or even sit at the staffroom PC to teach your class.), but I would use it for my private tuition which is mostly on a one to one basisI will have to test that Moodle system thoroughly (once I am back on my feet, of course) and see how either me or my pupils could benefit from it.Mind you, I have already done sort of "half online" teaching, meaning I used resources (which I always made myself) and the pupils/students either had to use them from a website I had uploaded the resources to, or just run them from a PC or laptop, with the resources on a CD/DVD.One example of this I remember is an online karaoke system I had put on the web, I used it for a course for disabled students, and they loved it.I have always been in favour of modern teaching methods, provided they have been thoroughly tried and tested.Anyway, I'll have a closer look at Moodle, and hope that one day soon I will still be able to teach people. Thanks for the tip anyway.
  10. Thank you for your reply, mamer.I find it hard to believe the form would be at fault, since it has never occurred to me before with any form I created. It also happens at the web based version of my email (I use Gmail with my domain name).I have also tried in Windows Live Mail and exactly the same thing happens.I have always set the same values for sending and receiving and never had any trouble. As a means of testing I have changed the To: address and now they arrive.Thank you for your assistance, but I think it'll be best to take it up with the author of the program I use to make my forms, after all, I have been beta testing it and all subsequent upgrades since day one. Thanks again.
  11. Hi,I have a problem with Mozilla Thunderbird, my email client, and I was wondering if anyone here knew the program enough to be able to help me.The reason why I seem a bit gobsmacked to resolve the problem is because it has never happened before.I have set up a contact form on my website, and that form, upon receiving some input, send an auto response to the one who submitted the data, but also a notification to the webmaster (me in this case), together with the data submitted. For practical reasons I have opted not to store the submission data into a database, as it would be pretty pointless, as the form is mainly for passing on comments or asking questions. However, the problem I am experiencing is that the person who fills in the form gets his (or her) confirmation email, but I do not (or at least so I thought).Upon closer inspection now, I noticed my emails go straight to the Spam folder, as I said before, this has never happened to me before with any form I ever made.I have therefore tried to set a Message Filter in Mozilla Thunderbird, which goes as follows:If Subject contains "New submission for the form" AND From contains webbie@vlaanderen-flanders.org.uk (the address that sends out the form) and To contains webbie@vlaanderen-flanders.org.uk (this is also the recipient address for form data) then Set Junk Status to Not Junk AND Move message to inbox on webbie@vlaanderen-flanders.org.uk.I have also set the filter to run at Checking mail, and I have also set it to apply to the Spam folder of webbie@vlaanderen-flanders.org.uk, but, time after time a) The apply to goes back to "Inbox" onwebbie@vlaanderen-flanders.org.uk instead of "Spam" on webbie@vlaanderen-flanders.org.uk, and also, inevitably, the emails keep ending up in the Spam box.Is there anyone who knows how I can make Thunderbird obey the filter and how I can keep the "Apply to" on the right folder?Any help will be much appreciated.

And yet another update, as things seem to be moving very fast except how they should. And, no, they are certainly not making it easy for me. As I mentioned before, the case is now partly with CAB (Citizen's Advice Bureau), or rather, its sister organisation Shelter, they are assisting me in the defense of my case at the Tribunal of Monday coming. They are not attending the tribunal like a lawyer would, but they do prepare your whole defense, collect all the relevant information and evidence and advise you on what to say and not to say at the Tribunal. I, obviously, already had some medical evidence, but, as I said before, the people at Shelter tell me what more I should present, and who to get in touch with for certain pieces of information. I already had a letter from my GP, which he wrote in May 2012, but there have been developments since, and considerate changes in my situation have taken place. I therefore needed my GP to elaborate a bit on his previous evidence and to present the new evidence in an additional letter. Fairly simple, it seems, was it not for the fact we are talking about my Health Centre. Nanna phoned them for an appointment with the doctor in question, and I was given a telephone appointment, but, guess what, the doctor never phoned. Nanna phoned back to ask where that phone call was, but the doctor had already gone, yet I was on the system for a telephone appointment, so, they promised I will get the call tomorrow. The problem is, every day of delay is a day wasted, and gives both Shelter and me less time to prepare the case. (However, according to Shelter, if it suits the Tribunal people, they might put the Tribunal off if they do not have the evidence before a certain time, I can see me trying to get the Tribunal delayed because of a similar reason). Then there is also the matter of a cardiologist I saw a few weeks back, and who gave very strong information which could work totally in my favour, but I obviously need his information in writing. So, I emailed the secretary of the cardiology department at my local hospital, the lady passed on the letter immediately and stressed the urgency of the matter, that was about a week ago, but up to now: nothing. As you can imagine, this is not exactly of the nature to do my stress any good. Anyway, I'll see how things go and I will keep you posted. I am honestly beginning to hope the Tribunal will be delayed.

Thank you for your kind wish, Jim.Maybe it might be a good idea to do what you said, depending of course on a) Will they let us change the date and How long will it take to get my results back, or how long will it take for them to re-book a tribunal. However, in the case of b, it might give me time to get more evidence together, but will also, inevitably, lead to more stress waiting for an outcome and being on the lowest income while waiting for a result. It is a case of the chicken and the egg, or a "no win" situation.Who knows, I might have a lucky brain flash or something, or something useful might come out of my talk at CAB.

Anyway, the thing is, I am going through something what is most probably the most important week of my life now.Unfortunately, due to the heavy snowfall and frost my sleep apnoea clinic was cancelled, so I will not be able to present any evidence from that at my tribunal which is coming up.The tribunal was set for Monday, January 28th, while my sleep apnoea clinic was re-booked for Saturday, February 2nd.During the coming week now, I shall be completing my file, and also get some extra written evidence in writing from various doctors to finalise that file, while I also have a final appointment at CAB (Citizen's Advice Bureau, an organisation that helps people with all sorts of problems, eg. financial, legal, rent, housing, and they also support representation for people at hearings and tribunals). As you can see, this is going to be a very stressful week for Nanna and me, while stress is exactly the thing I have been told to avoid. However, if I win my tribunal, at least justice will have been done, and the State will also end up owing us thousands of pounds, after they have made us struggle on a minimum income for nearly eleven months. At least I will then be able to lead a bit of a human life, and maybe find and afford the proper treatment which will either help me to feel better or (who knows) sort out most of my medical problems, although that might either be wishful thinking or could take a very long time to achieve.Anyway, wish us luck.
  15. Thanks, Sheepdog. All my sympathy for your old man, of course. My work might not be heavy physical stuff, but it sure can be stressful, with stress being something which I certainly can do without. I am a music teacher, remember, and the way things are going in schools these days are certainly not of the nature to be helpful to heart patients. Also, being a performing musician, working mainly late nights, and driving home in the middle of the night while you have trouble staying awake, is not likely to help much either. Make no mistake, how I wish I could be on the stage or in front of a class again, but I know I am not at all up to it. Now, read my post in The Vent about how we are being treated. Also, thank you for your comforting words.

This French company is paid by the British Government to assess people on ESA (Employment and Support Allowance) or DLA (Disability Living Allowance), in other words, people who are off work due to illness or incapacity, and, in there own words "to separate the genuinely ill from the scroungers.", you can see the first part of video footage, which was broadcast some months ago on BBC in Panorama, let me also add that the payment of £100,000,000 a year to this company have now gone up to a grand total of £2,000,000,000 (yes, you are reading it right, two billion, or two thousand million British Pounds). The footage for part one is here. Let me also add that, after the fee to ATOS had gone up, and the assessments became even "stricter", a lot of people ended up taking their own lives. The Government also do not mind increasing that fee, as the more they pay to ATOS, the more millions they will save the state by declaring people fit for work, and hence taking away or greatly reducing their benefits. As you learn in this film, that system was started by the previous Labour Government, and is now continued and even tightened by the current Conservative Government. As you can also see, they operate a "points" system where people have to get 15 or more to be declared unfit for work, and where most people, even the genuinely sick, obtain 0 points. Like it says in the film clip, I too was asked if I could move an empty cradboard box, to which I obviously answered "yes", but, as someone in the film claims: "I do not know of any jobs that involve moving empty cardboard boxes". Now, anyway, as you would expect, I too received 0 points and was declared completely fit and able to work, even wioth all the illnesses I have and I listed, and which ATOS did not question at any time. However, what happens after ATOS is that people at the DWP (Department for Work and Pensions), who are not at all medically qualified go through a special book tat lists various medical symptoms, and, going by the ATOS "recommendations", they then declare people fit or unfit to work, going by things they do not even understand the first thing about. Anyway, I received 0 points, and for a few weeks we had to live on no income at all, as they had stopped any benefit we had coming in. I obviously appealed, and while my appeal was running they restored our benefits, and, ir seems they are doing exactly the opposite of what they claim they want to aqchieve, ie. separating the chaff from the wheat, as they do the things I just mentioned to genuinely sick people while I know two real spongers, one, a 23 year old who claims not to be able to work because of a kidney problem, but who can fill albums on Facebook with pictures where you can see her swilling vodka from a bottle. Then I know another one, claiming to have severe panic attacks, which did not stop her from working behind a bar (cash in hand, of course), drinking her Bacardi and Coke every day, she has a man living with her who earns a full time work income, and she gets, just for herself, the same amount of benefits we receive as a couple. She also claims not to be able to go for a medical (due to her panic attacks) 20 miles away, but she can go on holiday more than 100 miles away three times a year. Although my GP wrote me a strong letter, I still lost my appeal, they claimed I had not submitted any additional evidence (what about the GPs letter then?), so it has come to a tribunal now. You also noticed the men, the one who could attack people and the police, and the one fit enough to run the London Marathon, but who still got their full benefit. Also, make no mistake, Iove my work, and nothing would give me greater pleasure than to go back to it, but I feel myself I am not up to it, the way my current physical condition is. This brings us to the second part of the Panorama program, which can be found here, it starts with the case of a man who has the same disease as one of mine, and see how he was treated. Just like me, his mental state of health was pulled off balance, and, even worse, shortly after the decision, he died. Then there are the people with certain serious diseases, a great number of them died before they could even go to a tribunal. The Government can also go on to claim there are no targets from them or ATOS, many people know better. Then again, the Government members, Ministers and MPs, wikk not have to worry what to live on with their salaries of £150,000+ a year. Now, should I win my appeal, they certainly will owe us a great deal of money in back payments, but how long will it take before I am called back for another ATOS assessment? One thing the film does not mention is about the man with terminal cancer who was deemed fit for work. Unfortunately he did not live to tell the story as he has died in the mean time. No matter what, like one of the first speakers in the first film clip said: "The whole thing is despicable".
  17. HI folks, since so many of you ask (thank you for the interest, by the way), I thought it would be polite to give you an update on how things are going. I had an appointment with the cardiologist this morning (yes, they are beginning to work funny days and hours at my local hospital, last time I had an appointment at 7.30 pm, now on a Saturday morning ). Anyway, the good news was that my blood pressure was completely normal, just as it was a few days ago when the nurse at the diabetes clinic measured it, but things that turned out less pleasant were that the cardiologist doubled the dose of my medication I am taking against chest pains, the reason being that the chest pains have began to increase in frequency and intensity again recently. There is also the problem of me constantly gasping for breath, since there is no evidence of COPD or asthma, the GP (and the cardiologist) noth said that it most probabnly comes from the enlargement of my heart muscle, in other words heart failure. Thursday just gone my GP also signed me off work again for another 3 months, I have now been off work for 1 year and 6 months. Another worrying thing is that, after my first heart problem in 2011, I had to see the cardiologist every month, as things got better, that increased to every 3 months, then every six months, until the cardiologist said "things have now evp;lved for the better so much that seeing you every year will be sufficient". However, the cardiologist this morning said he wants to see me again in one month's time, and that does worry me a bit. Furthermore, next Saturday I have to go to a special clinic to be investigated for sleep apnoea, I have no idea what they are going to do with me there (what kind of tests), or what treatment they are going to give me if it does turn out I do have sleep apnoea, what I do know is that sleep apnoea can be life threatening if left untreated. And to add insult to injury, the 28th of this month I have to attend a tribunal which will have to decide whther or not I am fit for work, as they assume my GP is a liar, since he has been signing sick notes now for one and a half year. When I mentioned it this morning, the cardiologist said "I don't think so" when I mentioned that, according to the powers that be, I am fit for work. But, there will be more about that in The Vent, where I will post about the scandalous practice our government is using these days, and my post will include some interesting video footage. So watch out for my topic in that section too.
  18. Well, it seems like some people do find help and salvation in the E-cigarettes, but apparently they cause their own problems. When I find the link to that article I shall post it here. Also, like most other Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) products they do contain nicotine, granted, that is exactly the main addictive element in cigarettes, which is why many people try the NRT way in order to wean them off the nicotine gradually. The funny thing is, and, I do not know whether or not it was related, but when I started with nicotine patches and gave up eleven years ago, that same very night I got into an ambulance having had a heart attack. At that time I kept it up for five months, and stress, worry and similar things made me grab for those cigarettes again.I know that many specialists and/or non-smokers will now claim that is a weak excuse, however, cigarettes do give a (false, I admit) sense of relaxation, and it does feel like lighting up pushes the stress away (or, at least they give you that feeling). Then later I kept it up for two months, I started off with Nicotine lozenges, but after a day or so, I just forgot about them and carried on without them and without cigarettes. Once again I fell back into my old habit due to the same reason. However, I do remember an attempt when I was much younger, in my twenties, I believe, and when everyone said to me "would you please, please go and buy yourself a packet of cigarettes and light one, because you are impossible to live with or be around".My goodness, was I irritable then, biting people's heads off for nothing and the like, I only kept it up for a fortniht then. However, the day after new year, it has ben six months now since I have beaten (or ar least, so it seems, as you will read a bit further on) the habit, just on "cold turkey". I was having breathing problems and I just said I wanted this problem to get better, so I gave up.However, now it seems that my problem was not, or only remotely related to smoking, which I will not use as an excuse to start again. So, with my six months, it has been the longest I have ever managed, but I must admit, sometimes I get crazy feeling like lighting a cigarette, and, hard as it is, i have managed until now.People keep saying to give it time, so I am waiting to see when that craving will go completely.

I also want to give you a warm welcome, JustGiving.Just like Sheepdog, I like your baby avatar too.Anyway, read through the previous posts (and all the other topics on the forum, for that matter), and see what you can achieve by being a member here and posting regularly, and how you can find competent help to solve lots of different problems.Have a great time here, and, yes, as Sheepdog said, do not forget to tell us a bit more about yourself, and what your hobbies and interests are.I look forward to reading your contributions.
  20. Don't worry about being 'late', c4l.Where I come from, people say "It is New Year the whole month long".That 'whole month' obviously refers to January, and what they say about being New Year for the whole of January means that you can wish people a Happy New Year for the whole of January, send out greeting cards for the same amount of time, also, many companies or political parties have their New Year reception for their employees or members in late January. You can also go and visit friends and family for a New Year get together throughout January, I remember joking with a pub landlord one New Year's day, he mentioned about it being New Year for the whole month, and I replied "so, does that mean we have to stay here until the end of January? I can just imagine us sat here with a long beard", to which he replied "Yes, and covered in dust and cobwebs".Come to think of it, that wouldn't be such a bad idea of puting the 'whole month principle' into practice.Come on then! Off to the pub until February 1st.

Hiya Biggie, welcome to the Xisto community. As people have said before, there are lots of knowledgeable people on the forum who will only be too glad to help you. Also, if you are looking for the proper hosting plan and proper features to show your pictures to the world, then you have come to the right place too.At Xisto - Web Hosting (Xisto), the company that runs this forum, you can find all kinds of great services, from hosting over dedicated servers to domain names. The best thing is, you do not even have to spend a penny to buy those services, all you need to do is pot in the forums in order to accumulate MyCents credits (the red figure you find underneath a forum member's picture is their current balance), and when you have enough dollars, you can use these to buy the Xisto - Web Hosting services you need.If you need further explanations about the MyCents system, please ask. And, especially: have lots of fun here.
  22. Some of those sites might put up annoying and unwanted advertising links, and get paid on a "pay-per-click" basis, but if you are seeing it on a huge number of websites, and on sites that did not show these links before, you might be infested with a virus or spyware, or both. Best thing would be to do an antivirus scan (obviously with your antivirus program updated to the latest definitions), and you can also do a spywarescan with (free) programs such as Spybot Search & Destroy or Adaware. Just type the names into Google if you do not have them and you will soon be sent to the right place. By the way, may I wish you a very posperous new year?
  23. I would like to wish everyone on this forum (although I am a bit early in my Timezone) a very happy and prosperous 2013.Hope it may be a year filled with happiness, good health love and friendship (no use wishing you any money, you only have to give it to the tax man anyway) for every one of you.I personally am ending what has been a terrible year for me (struggling with my health and the financial problems that flow from that, lots of stress and uncertainties, people letting me down, about anything that possibly could go wrong did). One positive thing I will be taking with me into the new year is that I will have been a non-smoker for six months in two days' time.At least that is something positive (although it is not always easy and the urge sometimes raises its head still). All I wish to others, I would obviously like for myself, so I am hoping for a year in which things work out better for me than they have that whole cursed year 2012 (I sometimes wonder if anyone has cursed me, because it sure looks like that).I only hope I have the strength and energy, and also the physical capacity to be artistic again, and to do what I love doing without being stopped from doing so by ill health or other reasons that could possibly stop me from doing my usual thing. And this, my friends, i would like to wish to every single one of you, may 2013 make you forget all the troubles you had in the past and bring you joy, good health and happiness for all the time to come.
  24. OK, fine. My MyCents balance has now been adjusted, and it looks like everything is working now. I do appreciate a whole lot of work probably went into it, and a lot of coding, re-coding, testing and re-testing was required, as is always the case when software updates and you want to update your own adjustments and/or additions with it. In other words, it looks like OpaQue has been putting a lot of hard work or effort in, for which I send him a heartfelt "Thank you" herewith. It would be nice, however, if the "surprise effect" were left behind. What I mean is: I noticed that my credit had stopped updating, so I obviously posted about it in this very post, and I received a reply which contained the following words: That was the first I had heard about the adjustments to the script, so, it would be good if it was announced in the proper topic when this happens or is about to happen, and if it did and I missed it, then, please accept my humble apologies. My wishes for the new year i am going to leave for a different topic.
