Well thanks for your help. But the website is still not accessible and I couldn't log into my email because my internet is lagging. anyway, I'll try it again later. hopefully it'll work. But I assume my website is gone? I thought the whole site would've been transfered to the new server!!!! So what am I supposed to do now? Is there any way to retrieve my lost website? :S

ok now I've upgraded my hosting account and now my website is hosted by Xisto - Web Hosting.com but I could not access my website :S it says that it is suspended, and when I log into Xisto forums I see that I have a negative balance of credits... is this supposed to happen? why do I need more credits if I already have a paid hosting?

well I don't know but I don't think it's just my ISP that is causing the trouble. Usually when I find my website down (usually a Gateway error) I ask one of my friends to check if it is loading and at that time it doesn't for him/her as well!

Hey everybody, recently I have noticed that the site is going down (doesn't load) ALOT! I don't know what's wrong, I thought it's from the server or something but I don't think so. And sometimes it doesn't load on Firefox and/or Internet Explorer but it loads on Opera. When it doesn't load it gives me 502 error (server not available). So what's wrong and what should I do? ok now I have sorted out that problem. the problem was because I previously had directed the site to a sub-directory on my root folder. so now I fixed it and it's working well. but there's a new problem. I am using Joomla for my site. and when I changed the domain name things got messed up. there are no images when I open the site in Internet Explorer 7 or FireFox. even in the administrator panel too. check it out to see what I'm talking about: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ ok if anyone can help please let me know what I am supposed to do.

well yeah I know it needs some time to propagate through the internet network... but first my partner has redirected the new domain to the old domain and then I removed the forwarding. But it still goes to my old domain everytime I try to go to the new domain, but actually my old domain doesn't exist anymore...

Hey everybody, well I have bought a new domain name yesterday, and then I changed its name server to to Xisto. then I changed my hosted domain in Xisto to my new domain name. this all happened yestrday. but since yesterday up till now I can't go to my website. I can't even go to my cPanel :S so what am I supposed to do?

ok now if you're talking about Joomla itself, you won't need to learn anything, you don't even need to read any tutorials. It's VERY easy to get along with. But in case you're talking about making templates for Joomla then that could be some hard work. well it's not really hard but needs some effort. I remember that I once read a tutorial about it and it didn't seem that hard but I didn't actually get the whole idea cuz I didn't know anything at that time. but now if I re-read that same tutorial again, I think it'll be very easy to me to make Joomla templates. So actually I encourage you on doing that. just give it a little part of your free time and you'll be doing it very soon. good luck

well actually I used Microsoft Share Point but it also didn't include the .php extension, so then after I saved the file I changed its extension now I'll try to do what you said and I'll see what will happen. well actually I was installing it on my main directory first but then I had one problem... while installing when they give me the list of the writable files there's one that was saying "unwritable" and it is something like "Session save path" check this out. so then I deleted all the files related to Joomla and tried to re-install it in a sub-directory hoping that this problem would be solved but it didn't :S and I completed the whole installation while this "Session save path" was still marked Unwritable. so do u think this is the problem? and what is this "session save path" anyway? YES! it worked! thanks alot for the help and by the way, I have another question... does Xisto - Support Java? well I'm asking because I was trying to integrate a chatroom from userplane into Joomla and it didn't work. it just kept giving me a blank small rectangle in the middle of the content area. well a friend of mine told me that this could be due to the fact that the userplane webchat is made in Java... so what do you think? Well the way I see it, life would be impossible! ok now I hate math so much and I wish it wasn't there at some points when my teacher starts talking about stuff I just can't understand... but we have to admit that math is the mother of all other sciences. everything needs math to complete it and make it better. physics and chemistry wouldn't exist without math. houses would fall on our heads if there wasn't such thing called math. alot of things would've changed. our life would be very primitive as if we were cavemen! moreover, math equals logical reasoning, so without math we won't have logic and without logic even our values and principles would be messed up.

I liked your post, it really makes sense. But those cultural values you're talking about aren't constant. They differ from community to another, a religion to another, a race to another, a society to another... etc. Also, they differ from generation to another. There was a time when women thought it was a sin to show a tiny bit of their body, but now adays, if a girl doesn't show off all her "stuff" she'd be considered as a retard! and people would treat her as if she's a weirdo or something. Also, in the past, having sex with someone that isn't your husband/wife used to be considered as one of the most terrible sins, fornication, which sometimes ended up with the death of those two persons who did that... even a queen (the queen of England or France, not too sure) was convicted of adultery and consequently she was executed! But these days sex has became a habit! an 18 years old who's still a virgin would be considered the laughing stock of the whole high school or collage or whatever. Even if someone was born alone, grew up alone, and lived alone his whole life he won't have principles that are much different from our society's principles and values. Well that's because I think such values are innate! they are born with us, and they are exposed to the person upon contact with certain situations that instigate the exposure of this value or that.

I think you're talking about something close to relativity. Everyone sees the universe from his/her own perspective. Well that could be true to a certain extent, but not in the materialistic definition of the universe... what you're talking about is the psychological meaning of the universe which is everything surrounding us and we interact with through our senses. correct me if I'm wrong... ok now let's suppose that what you're talking about is true... when our universe collides with the other universe shouldn't there be mutual transmission of energy between the two universes? and should we, on earth, feel that something hit our universe? I mean, it's a universe we're talking about! the collision should be powerful enough to make us feel this collision! I don't know, that just doesn't seem right to me, what do you think?

I tried so many things to make it work but it didn't work! now I'm gonna try the first method you provided. and by the way, on my old host which had the old cPanel I used to redirect very easily but I don't know what's wrong with this new cPanel. it sucks! first the problem with fantastico and now the redirection problem! the coders better start taking care of their production! damn! it didn't work! :S ok here's what I did. Well I don't know what I did wrong, but if you check the "Manage Redirects" tool, you'll see something like this: http://yourdomain.com/text box >> http:// text box well I tried to leave the first text box empty and then fill the other one with "thedebate.trap17.com/Joomla" and it didn't work. Then I tried to fill the first text box with "public_html" and then fill the other one with "thedebate.trap17.com/public_html/Joomla" and it still didn't work... so can you tell me what's wrong and what should I do to make it work?

DAMN! that really sucks! how could you take all that? can't you stand up for yourself? well if not, haven't you EVER thought about telling your parents of what Adrien does to you?!!! c'mon! you can't just take all that *BLEEP* and shut up! do something about it! use a baseball bat or something! and when your older brother tries to beat you hit him with the bat or whatever weapon you got and make it clear to him that he can't just bully you and get away with it! he only keeps on doing all these bad stuff because you showed him that you are weak and you can't do anything about it. but once you stand up for him and defend yourself and maybe beating him, he won't dare to do it again! well thankfully I am the oldest at home and no one ever beats me! even at school or on the street, no one actually beats me cuz I don't get into too many fights, and in case I actually did get into a fight, I'd more likely to be the one giving the beating, not the one getting beat.

Well I believe that the only constant destiny we ALL have is DEATH! but other than that, everything changes according to our actions, thoughts, and decisions. for example, this year I've graduated from high school, now I have two choices, the first one is to study computer science at collage or study genetic engineering, so in this case, my future will change according to my decision, I won't be a genetic engineer if I chose to study computer science!! that's only possible if I chose to study genetic engineering! now all that physics and math thing you talked about just doesn't make any sense to me, actually I didn't get the idea quiet well. But in case you are saying that it won't affect our future instantly then this might be true, but at the same time, you should keep in mind that we're talking about destiny which is FUTURE! so instead of changing it right now, why not wait for more 2 or 3 days and then change it... everything is possible! But eventhough, I still believe that our future is NOT pre-written, our decisions make our future, not anything else.

Man what you're saying is right and wrong at the same time. Laws were meant to manage our lives and organize relationships between people, societies, parties, countries... etc. without rules, chaos will prevail and everybody will go crazy! crimes won't decrease in number because when someone has nothing to limit him/her nothing can stop him/her from doing anything terrible like killing someone, stealing stuff, sexually harass someone else... etc. But rules were set to put limits to all these actions, and despite the presence of all these rules, some people still actually do those terrible stuff without giving a *BLEEP* about the consequences of their actions. But on the other hand, some rules and laws are just stupid or useless. and their presence only adds complexity to our lives. so the way I see it, such rules and laws should be abolished. only the important and efficient laws should be kept. Now, our duty is to abide by those important rules. because those rules should seem logical to us, and as a consequence this should encourage us to follow these rules.

Well that's really a nice theory, I enjoyed reading it actually. But I really find it unlikely to be true since you based it on the big bang theory which might also be untrue since it hasn't been tested yet (as far as I know). But having two particles collide and violently explode to produce several universes is something really improbable. if that was true, shouldn't both universes mix together? because when an explosion happens, the parts of the exploded particle fly in all directions randomly! so I think that would have caused both universes to mix together. Now what really makes me doubt the big bang theory is that the reason why this particle exploded is still unknown... which really shakes the credibility and coherence of this theory. But scientists believe that the big bang theory is true simply because the universe is expanding in a way that conserves the liniar momentum of a particle which exploded [P(of the whole particle-before explosion)= P(mini particles that were released after the explosion)] but what if the universe was already found (God created it) and the matter inside this universe is expanding? this could be true as well...

Yup you've got my idea quiet well! The thing is that I don't want to build an army alone or a city alone. I want to build the two together! and I should be able to take care of both chores together! like having a strong military that is able to defend my city from foreign invasions AND inside revolutions, and at the same time I should have a nice city with a strong economy and advanced technology and stuff like that... yeah I like your idea as well, it's very close to mine... I just wish I could actually make this game come true but too bad I know nothing about game coding... hopefully some guy from a big company would read this topic and actually do it
