  1. Well I think that Dreamweaver is better (atleast for me). Dreamweaver is more professional than FrontPage, but FrontPage is more user-friendly and easier to use. But on the other hand, Dreamweaver is more efficient and has more scripts and stuff like that, and it has support towards other software that are also needed in designing/developing your website... I don't know, that's my own opinion, don't know about you
  2. Ok I am not really experienced at this but I think the best way to do it is by using frames. Make two frames on the sides and link to them in every page you make, and the middle part will be for the content (about 60% of the page width) I think that will do it. And just in case, try to find some tutorials about this (use google) or check this site out: http://www.w3schools.com/ you might find what you need... good luck
  3. Ok I used to face this problem too everytime I wanted to start a new website (or when I want to change the design of my site). Now, I think it's best for the logo to reflect the content of the site and to include the name of your website and a kind of a slogan. In addition, try to get some catchy stuff going on in your logo... what I mean is your logo should captivate the visitors (if I can say so). Also, the logo must fit with the template of your site (the colors, the design... etc) and try to stay away from glittery and shiny logos because they are bad for the eyes and irritate some people. Anyway, good luck man
  4. Alright, first I want to mention that I wanted to do such a project myself, and I had it all planned but I just got busy and then I forgot about it... Well, about the paying service I think it's best to use paypal because it is secure and cheap compared to other services. E-Gold is rubbish, I hate it. I recommend using CPanel or XPanel (I am not sure if they are different because I haven't worked with websites since a long time) and try to have Fantastico too because it is very efficient and easy to use by your customers (it will actually save you alot of time in technical support). Also I believe it's best to provide your customers with all scripting languages they need for the sites because some hosts do not provide particular languages and eventually people won't use their service. As a starter, I think you shouldn't use a huge server, you can start with a simple (but fast) server and then when your business starts running, you can expand your server.Concerning the security of your server, try using some good firewall and anti-virus, just in case some lamer tries to hack into the server.Well just want to wish you all the best luck
