I live in Eureka, CA. It's in Humboldt County, and if any of you are form the northwestern US, you'd know what we're famous for. EVERYONE'S A STONER!! lol, thats right!! You can walk down the street and just smell a big wave of weed just spill over the whole city. It had an official city population of 26,128 in the 2000 census. The Greater Eureka Area then had a population of more than 42,233.

Seriously, they HAVE done research on this, conducted experiments, and almost got it to work too. They almost successfully transferred an apple from on side of the room to the other, but it took an INCREDIBLE amount of energy. The only reason they had to stop the experiment was BECAUSE it was using so much energy. Once we harness solar power, which we are (seen in nuclear plants), we can begin to see this as a part of life. I'd say give it 150 years, honestly.

I play private server WoW. It's free, and hacking is legal. Some servers have 300x EXP and Gold, others are regular "Blizz-Like" servers. I, personally, play http://www.raidenwow.com/, and I have very minimal lag.

Don't go anywhere else but http://www.newegg.com/ . Great prices, great service, great shipping, great community, just an absolutely amazing website. -
The Day of Silence represents, metaphorically, the silence Gays have to have every single moment of their life, because too many people judge gays too quickly. It's just a day to make people more aware of the true silence that emotionally cripples a large percent of our community.

Linux - Why It Fails As A Desktop Operating System?
insaneinnovations replied to red_dragon_here's topic in Operating Systems
Drivers. Drivers are difficult in any distro. Some devices can't be installed, even if you're a Sudo master *chuckle*. That's my main abjection with Linux. -
I use Kubuntu, but NOT Ubuntu. I HATE Gnome with a passion. I have PPC Kubuntu running on my iBook G4. I don't think Linux can replace Windows on a home/media PC, but as a server or Mac OS replacement it's bar-none.

I've had freehostia and they definitely aren't the best. I'd much rather have Xisto. -

insaneinnovations replied to mobileunlocking's topic in General Discussion
I love going to school. It gives me a chance to get away, meet new people, and get involved with the community. My grades aren't the greatest, but overall I love going to school. It's like a meeting place, but you get a Diploma in the mean time.--Laz -
Windows Vista Will you be upgrading?
insaneinnovations replied to Matt2's topic in Operating Systems
If you guys remeber correctly, when 98se first came out, everyone had to get at least a P1 with 32mb ram, recommended 64mb. That was HUGE back then because everybody had a 486 with 16mb ram. Eventually, everyone upgraded to 98se, but when it was first unveiled it was accused of being a system hog, just like Vista is today. Vista has amazing securities, polished networking features, TONS of drivers, and of course, lots of eye-candy. The only real con is the software mis-compatability, JUST LIKE 98se. But, give Vista about a year--no, no, 6 months--and I guarentee the software issue will be very very minimal. You know, they say that history repeats itself...and as time advances, so does the technological standard. The main reason that everyone hates Vista so much now, also, is because the Beta versions were so easily accessible, and all of the betas were very unstable.I-love-Vista.--Laz
