I really like it for a first signature. For some reason the first thing anyone ever does in photoshop or graphics programs is the lightning effect. You should check out some of my tutorials I wrote and posted in the graphic section. Good try keep it up bro

So you want to make a grunge signature? Well heres are some basics. The gosu grunge. 1: Download my favorite grunge pack: Brushes 2: Start a new 450x150 transparent document. 3. Load the brushes and select the second brush in the grunge3 list. 4: Now do Filter>>>Render>>>Clouds. 5: Now heres the artistic part. With this brush selected.... simply switch from black and white randomly(hit x on keyboard) and click. Until you get something similar to: 6: Now that the artistic part is done, its all procedure. First... Select a render u want to use. Then simply drag and drop to the grung background u just made. 7: Make sure u get rid of any rendering color(the white around the character) I recommend the Magic Wand Tool. 8: Now that the render is there press CTRL+SHIFT+U, to make it grayscale(all grey). 9: Now for some color. Go to Layers>>>New Adjustment Layers>>>Color Balance. 10: Just mess with the bars until you get a color you like. 11: Now click on your render layer, then click add vector mask. 12:Now get a grunge brush and make sure your foreground color is black. Start randomly and <font color="red">SLOWLY</font> click around the edges of the character until he is blended in like so. 13: Now your pretty much done. Excpet i always add a 3PX Border and some effects or other brushes over the background.

1. Select Two Pictures You Want To Blend. I've Used Two Backgrounds From The Upcoming Game: Starcraft - Ghost. And 2.Now Copy One Picture Over The Other Into One Image. You Should Only Be Able To See One Of The Pictures. 3.Now. Click The Add Layer Mask Tool: 4.Now Simply Select The Gradient Tool On The ToolBar.(Ensure the mode is on "normal" And Click Once Then Move To Desired Location And The Blending Occurs. Result:

If you think your ready, then proceed. Step 1. Open a grunge signature or grunge Background, ill be using this one: Step 2. Create a new color balance: Step 3. Adjust the color to what you want by sliding the bars in the Color Balnce, Then click ok. Next, get a grunge brush and make sure your color is black(Press "D"). Now click on the image a few times. You will notice a few parts will lose color, this is whats supposed to happen. Step 4.Now create another color balance: Step 5. Now it should look something like this depending on your colors: Now simply add your render, blend, and add any other effects. Heres what i got from the end result: Hope this helped some of you :-D

Ok... This is just a copy pasted tutorial that I can almost guarantee that you did not right so Im going to have to call it spam.. I think you are just copy/pasting to get your point count up.

I personally use Adobe Photoshop cs3 since it is the best thing out there right now. I tried GIMP one time but hated it completely just a horrible setup it has, but hey what can you expect from a free program right? Paintshop pro is also another one that is pretty good but whatever.

Nice, I like these a lot. I would use them but I can make my own signatures with photoshop. I think I like the zelda signature the best it looks great. Thanks for contributing to the rest of the forums.
