Did You Know Ipod Is An Mp3 Player? Be honest
EJay replied to tripletriangle's topic in General Discussion
There are some people who would question this, maybe be in between or maybe they would be in total agreement of an Ipod being a MP3 player. Some people think that an iPod is not an Mp3 player, because of the superb gui its got to most mp3 players. While others say that it might pass as an mp3 player, but not really because the iPod is more expandable than the others. While people who are in total agreement are in total agreement because it is in fact a MP3 player, with a good gui. I mean the only new thing that the ipod can do is become a photo album, but as all mp3 players do. It only plays music just like an mp3 player. So in conclusion there are many views, but the only true one is it's an Mp3 player. -

Ipod Vs Mp3 Is Ipod good compared to other Mp3 players ?
EJay replied to football123213's topic in General Discussion
There is just something about me and GUI's, and I just love the graphical interface, and now with the newer edition of Ipod, you can use it like a photo album and look at all the pictures that you have stored inside the ipod. Plus I like the outside skin of an ipod, it looks very professional like, and just like a Macintosh Computer (Simplistic ) yet its purpose it for storing music. -
I hate IPB, it's not like it's ever done anything wrond to me or anything, just I don't think it has a nice GUI, where as PHPbb I am much more familiar with, and all that jazz. I also think that Phpbb has a really nice admin panel which is user frindly, and anyway, even if you dont like PHPBB you can always uninstall it and replace it with the other, just give each a trial run and see which one works the best.

I am just happy with my Gmail account and the space that I have. If what I heard about shutmail's stability is true, then Gmail is a way better bet. And Even A gigabyte is more than enough, I have 243 messages and I am using only 2% of my account. So I'll stick with Gmail atm. But maybe in a year or two I will use it, because they may have made it stable.

100 Gigabytes Of Mp3s? ...in Your Pocket? wow
EJay replied to Dodger's topic in Science and Technology
100 gigabytes would be awsome. Imagine all of the songs it could hold. That would be able to hold so much albums, let alone songs. I could have 20 - 30 books on tape with 100 gigabytes of space Imagine that, 25 000 songs should be able to keep me busy while Im flying over to Orlando. I wish I had 100 gigs, I have 126 mb Compared to my mp3 player this is god, but sooner or later the 200 gig verison is going to come out. -
I would just install Linux without any firewall, unless its a prerequisite, but I am fairly sure that its a option in the set-up menu

Some of the informercails are so long. Im glad that the station has enough sense to cut it off before it will make people miss the programming the paid for, not paid programming. I mean if I wanted to buy something I would turn the channel to the shopping channel, not just any channel.

I like my Playstation 2 console just fine. But now that the new Ps2 games\programs have a higher encoding than what the origanal play station 2 console was made for. So it takes about 5 - 10 minutes to load anything. I've tried everything including opening the console up and cleaning the laser lens. I would give XBox a higher disc load speed. So I am in between both A) I own the PS2 Xbox is faster

You can make network addresses like this: \\officecomputer\cdrive\jay\ Into a simple drive letter like F: Here's How Intructions 1. First open up My Computer (You can do this by pressing start, and then My Computer) 2. In the Menu Bar (Which states File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, Help) click Tools, a pull down menu appear 3. Click on Map Network Drive... in the pull down menu that appeared 4. First Select your drive (In this example we will call it F:) by Clicking the pull down menu beside "Drive:" 5. At the Folder Menu Entry (Folder: _____) type in your network address (such as \\officecomputer\cdrive\jay\) It should then say that its mapping the network drive, and then it has been networked to the drive of your choosing.

Bush And The War Against Terorism Will he start another war?
EJay replied to adriantc's topic in General Discussion
I think that Bush should just get off being President. I mean he took over Iraq ()()()AFTER()()() he had captured S.H. and now he's trying to force a new government system on them. I say, as long as we have our man, don't disturb the otheres because they are glad with the way things are run. In a democratic community such as ours, it seems as if there government is harsh and unfair to them, but it's unfair for them, for us to force our government system on them. He's never going to learn, and so history is most likely to repeat itself. -
I believe that every star has his\her faults. I believe that Micheal Jackson did it, but if it dosen't affect me, then I don't think Ill get anymore involved than posting, but I mean it's a little wierd that so many people are saying the MJ molested them at the same time. I don't think that all of them are telling the complete truth. They just want to do something with thier lives, and they figure that this is the best way to spend it.

HI was wondering if there was a program that could help me retrieve my passwords via the console before the Mac Boot-up sequence. Its been annoying that people hack into my account and then change the password. If there isn't a program already inside the console, is there one out on the World Wide Web.TIAThanks in Advanced

I think that if there was a free version of a windows / linux machine I would definatly go for it. Imagine the simplicity and stability of Linux but able to run Windows programs. I mean i've only seen Linux crash once, and that's because I maxed out my RAM. No more Blue Screen of death, No more illegal errors, and great server hosting I don't know if anyone be willing to take the project on, but I think that they could become very famous, very fast.

Hey all, I am Jordan, 13 and live in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. I have a great knack for finding holes in security systems, and help people improve them. I know a bit of C++ programming, but not alot. I love Mozilla Firefox, and Dreamwaever MX 2004 (thisa program is similar to Microsoft Frontpage) I have had a natural talent for computers since I was six, and I talk for extremly long periods of time. I enjoy watch Drawn Together, Outer Limits, and Star Trek (Enterprise, TNG, Voyager) I am a great trekkie and I am heading up (...down) to Las Vegas to see ST: The Experience, and read alot of trek fan fic. So that is me

Drawn Together is an animated Television show where 8 animated cartoon characters take place in a reality show that spoofs every other reality show that there is. The characters names are: Wooldor Sockbat, Captain Hero, Princess Clara (rejected Cinderella), Ling Ling (Japanese Pikachu (PokeMon)), Foxxy Love (Mystery Solving Musician), Spanky Ham (Internet Character), Xandir (Rip off of Zelda, Homosexual), Toot Braunstien (20's sex symbol, and fat). Every episode deals with a diffrent project or problem, the first one racism, and another one toot becoming anerexic and flooding the mansion through regurgitation. It is one of the best reality series I have ever seen. The Season is over, but many fans are waiting for the next season as a continuation of the Series. Sorry if this sounded more like a description from Comedy Central but I just wanted to describe it to you.Any fans out there?

Red Dwarf is totally awsome and I can;t wait until the realese of the Red Dwarf Movie. I have the first 3 seasons on DVD and i think it's smeggin' incredible that they are finally coming out with a movie. I've heard rumors, but I think that this one is true. But still I say that... Kryton the mentally insane robot is the best character on the series, next to the Vending Machine (The one which Rimmer stole a Chuky Nut Bar from) and my most favorite episode would be... the one where Rimmer and Lister switch bodies.

I believe that ad-aware is just an easier way of getting spyware off of my computer. I had so much spyware on my computer that I got pop-ups of internet sponsers without even having my internet explorer being open. If you use Mozilla Firefox and Ad-Aware, you don't really have to worry about getting to much spyware, because firefox is great for preventing that. If you don't want to have either program on the computer just use MF (Mozilla Firefox) I call Internet Explorer the Spyware God, because you get about 240% more spyware on IE.

It will take about 19427 seconds. Im not really sure about the actual amount. Just that I think it will revert to the maximum number of seconds that its program will let it. I can't believe that I am the first one to find this egg. I never find anything first, and im usually blind to the obvious. But yes it will take about 19427 seconds.

Sorry BTW Yes = For and No = Against

I was just wondering what everyone's IMO wasMine is:I think that marriges are just bonding between two people, and making it legal in the eyes of god. I mean hey, if two people love eachother enough then Im all for it because Marrige is considered when certin people get to a point in thier life, when they reach the ending point that there relation status point can get to, they need marrige to get further. I don't even think that god cares whether we are gay or not.

I think that azerus is a great java based bittorrent client because it has a great gui, and everything is monitored, even the diffrent programs the peers that your downloading from are tracked so i can see which is the most popular. And disregarding this poll i see more edonkey clients than any other. Which is surprising because i didn't think that eDonkey use bitorrent. But i think that exeem is also an excellent client

Are You A Math Nerd? Tired of Googles big spelling error?
EJay replied to beeseven's topic in General Discussion
I made a magazine off of the correct spelling of googol and I think its a wierd but awsome title. It just makes it look and feel proffesional. I thank google for not spelling right so that i can have a name for my magazine. But seriously, I think that some guy didn't know how to spell googol so he spelt google and stuck with it. -
I am having a little problem with my playstation 2. It seems that on some discs it takes forever to load. I clocked the time it took to load my gameshark disc and it was at an excruitiating 5 minutes and 23 seconds. I mean come on, how would this be possible. (Warning: Conspiracy Theory) Unless sony wants me to buy the new PS2 Mini so that it can suck my money from me. (END) Well if there is an alternative to taking my ps2 apart, and cleaning my laser, im all for it. TIA

For people who have nothing better to do with there time, but find easter eggs in friends computers, I have come up with the SHUTDOWN egg Instructions 1. Get to the login screen where it states Shut Down / Change Password / Log in and so forth if you've modded your mac 2. Press Shut Down 3. It should say: Your computer is going to shut down in 14 seconds or something to that effect. Wait till it says seven seconds. Click and hold on the button that says shut down. Wait for 12 - 15 elephants (refering to counting "One Elephant, Two Elephantm Three...) after dragging the cursor onto the backround 4. After counting the elephants, let go with the cursor still over the background. It should say Your computer will shut down in 19427 seconds or something to that effect. I don't know how I found it, but I believe it to be one of the best easter eggs in MAC
