  1. Hey,when i try to log in to windows live mail, it either takes a couple of minutes and then shows an error, but mostly it just shows the page's script/code... This happens as well when i try to open a direct link to a clip on YouTube (not when i start at the main page).Does anyone have an idea of what is happening? Please help me...I also tried Windows Live Mail on internet explorer, but gives a blank screen (*hates IE*)thx in advance
  2. I prefer to make non-flashy and non-epilepsy-causing websites. Since I love the oriental, I try to make my sites look that way somehow. Like said before, simplicity!
  3. Online may be more difficult because it is totally independent and you can't really interact with the 'teacher'. It is a good way to develop your independent studying and most material are of quite a high quality. I learned CSS, (X)HTML and Javascript on the internet and now I am just being bored in class because I already knew all of the course...
  4. And don't write any new things in your conclusion, like I said before it should be some sort of summary of the whole essay
  5. i agree that video games are a waste of times, mostly. I play some just to relax myself after school or sports, but I also think that there are several educative games which totally arent a waste of time and even worth 'playing'
  6. An essay is normally a text written based on your opinion about something. So I don't really think we can help you with the content, this is something very personal. I can give you some advice on this, since I had to write some for school:- Don't write about someone else's opinion, you won't be able to work it out very well- Base your opinion on a few arguements and work them out properly- Conclusion should just summarize (conclude) your whole essayHope i helped ^^
  7. Well I actually voted the best from what I have... But I'm pretty sure I wouldve voted for PS3 instead of PS2 if i had one ^^

    Racism

Well, where I live I get the feeling that the original people are getting discriminated in any way. Most foreign people (no offense) can call us anything they want, but if we treat them the same way, it is treated as racism. So is it normal that there is only a 1-way-racism? I really don't like the current situation... For example, moslims here are angry because they can't wear their headgear (dunno what it's called) when working, and now they write in the newspaper they they want no more Christmas, Easter or anything else related to the christian religion. Is it also normal that people that emigrated to another country come and dictate the law? Please comment me if I'm wrong... Again, no offense to any cultures or so, I respect them, but not the extremism here and elsewhere.
  10. Some guy I know was also the biggest in elementry school, but later we caught up to him and we were about the same height. Some people get their 'growth?' earlier than others, and in a rare case they just tend to be tall (like around 2,00m dunno in feet)
  11. i got banned from AdSense the time I wasn't at home...
  12. photoshop is probably the best for this (and many other things), very cool tutorial and original ^^
  13. I think my first console was either a game boy or a super nintendo, then i started the playstation series (almost buying the 3rd) and the better game boys (color and advanced)
  14. Rabbits are definitely the best: they give a lot of love, are cute, you don't get any troubles with them, are funny when they kick the ground,.... lovely ^^
  15. Oh, other controllers..didn't read about that... Thx man ^^
  16. Nokia brings quality, and I had some bad experiences with Motorola. And like mentioned by rvalkass, most people would go for the Motorolo because of the looks and the foldness of it. In Belgium those are the ones that are most often stolen (foldables and slide-ups). Of course it also depends why you need it for work, spare time or both. Motorola would only be good for your spare time.I would pick nokia
  17. In the Buqi course I did this summer, there were several ways to meditate:Standing meditation (also known as 'Wuxi-stance'): Put your feet on shoulder width with your toes slightly pointed inwards; bend your knees a bit till they are at the same height of your toes; bow forward till the point 4 fingers under your (umbilical point?) is on the same line with your knees and toes; place your hands at your hips with the palms faced down and try to push your thumb and smallest finger upwards, your middle finger and thumb mouse downwards; pull in your chin but keep your focus at the horizon and stretch the top of the spine (right behind the head); try not to submit to the spontaneous movements; try to empty your mind; your bodyweight must be on the front of your feet at first your calves will hurt, but that's normalLying meditation: lay down on your back with your arms near you and your palms facing the ceiling; push with both the top spine point and the middle of your feet outward and empty your mind.I had much more effect with the standing meditation, but both work. Really brings peace to your mind. Also try to open your eyes while not really opening them (hard to explain, but when you're looking at the sun and you do this, you should see a red/orange color, in darkness it should be black), you might see your own eyes for a flash. Also try to look at the 'third eye', the hollow spot between your eyebrows (more or less)Sitting meditation: can be done on a chair or on the groundchair: go sit on the edge of your chair and stretch your legs until the knees are at same height as your waist; stretch your back and top of spine to the ceiling; put ur hands on your upper legs with the palms upwards; close ur eyes and empty your mindground: sit on ur butt and lay your feet into the opposite upper leg (left foot on right upper leg) so that ur soles point upwards, stretch ur spine and lay your hands as mentioned beforeHope I helped you ^^
  18. At the moment I'm stuck with a rather old TV, so I guess the graphics will likely be the same as on PS2 (not that bad imo), am I right? And the controller is still the same i hope(so I wont have to buy a new one :XD:). I'd like to buy the next serie of Dynasty Warriors (which will be the 6th), do you know anything about it not mentioned on any popular gaming forum (been there ), I would really appreciate that ^^.
  19. I would like to hear some comments, pros and cons from Playstation 3. I don't really know anyone that has 1. Also I would like a comparison with the previous version, Playstation 2.I'm planning on buying 1, but I'm still having doubt...
  20. I am not a big fan of manga, but i read some of Ragnarok, Rebirth and Naruto. From Naruto I only read Kakashi Gaiden because it won't be animated. Manga is sometimes extreme imo, but funny as well. I enjoyed the things I've read, but I don't think I will buy some anytime soon.
  21. this is really the first person I've ever seen that is proud to be a smoker O.o
  22. leave it be.There is no use in trying to get her to understand you right after this break up. When things cool down, and most of all when you cool down, you see things from a different perspective. This helps in doing the right (for you) thing. For now, find yourself a new hobby. That usually helps in getting back on track
  23. It is odd that there hasn't yet been pointed out that there is a difference between political and social law. First of all, a stuctured, organized community can only survive by political rules which try to keep everyone from harming one another, or making it completly impossible to advance with the well being of the community. These rules are subject to change and perhaps not personally motivatable. The seatbelt motivation being not wanting to crash through the windshield is personal. But not every one does this. But to reduce deaths from crashing through a windshield and thus to benefit the entire community, the rule is enacted and breaking is punished. Cultural rules are personal, unwritten, and are punished in different ways. They are the 'values' of the largest group of people. These include for example that it's immoral to rape a girl. And again, there are situation where this does happen. but this (not considering the political rules) is punished by bans. Outkast are rarely happy. Ofcourse, don't think it's this black and white. There are communities in communities in communities, all with their set of values and applications of those values. Living by your own principle is utterly impossible, unless you are born alone, grew up alone and live alone, not subjected to the influence of those various groups.
  24. Hmm.I don't think highly of striker's advice. You can't stop violent people with counter violence, even though that often seems the best option. It will most likely be an impulse for him doing it more and worse. His motivation won't be revenge, settling the score or punishment, but pure confimation of his dominance. Which isn't good... It's ultimatly the worse, since reason won't have any part in this. There are several options for stopping violent behaviour. Yes, there is counter-violence... which only works when your unquestionably stronger then your adversary, and are able to strike him with fear or a sort of strange respect for 'leadership'. But you could also show him there is no harm meant. Sometimes the adversary becomes the best friend after he realizes you don't mean to hurt him. How to do this varies ofcourse. The thing is, it's hard to change erradic, unreasonable or unlogical patterns in a person's behaviour. Often the change must come from a differentiation in the person himself. a change of perspective, an insight, etc. etc.Me personally, i have always had the advantage of being physically ahead during childhood. I was the biggest and strongest. So i was rarely challenged. And now, i have a beard. That really helps in staying out of trouble It's like Samson
