What's Your Music Player you current music player device
harshcpu replied to hulunes's topic in General Discussion
Currently an older SanDisk Sansa C140 with 1gb of memory. My nano ended up going through the wash and being an apple product did not survive. Need to go and get me somthing else but cant really afford it. One gig just does not cut it for the amount of music that I have. -
Dell Or Hp ? Which is the best computer brand you prefer ?
harshcpu replied to Inspiron's topic in General Discussion
HP all the way. Dells were known as a standard desktop company until they started coming out with their gaming machines and servers. Hp on the other hand is known for professional machines. Hey my laptop is an HP and so is my old desktop. Never really had a problem with either. Hey look I am currently using an HP Machine, go HP. -
Personally I would have to say that Mozilla Firefox is the best web browser out there. I use it on any computer even if it means downloading it for free from their site

Forgot The Wireless Wpa/wep how to find it bacK?
harshcpu replied to tklee87's topic in Computer Networks
There is software that can get it back but only on the machiene that you set up the router with if not it is not possibile. It that does not work you may be forced to do a full reset of your router and change back to factory defaults. It is usually holding the reset button for about 10 seconds but check with the users manual if you still have it. -
Depends on the speaker. If it is a system speake that is not attached to the motherboard you can just disconnect it. If not a good chance may be to check you bios. Just remember when in your bios just dont change anything you are not sure of. You dont want to permantly mess up your pc.

You need to get your hands on a vista disc. What had happend is you wrote over the vista boot record with the xp boot record and now the computer does not know what to boot. This is a very simple fix but again you need to get a hold of a disc. once you have a bootable vista disc just go to the repair your computer link and click on startup. It will automatically rewrite the boot record and the next time you restart wala vista.

Which do you think is better XP or Vista or Linux. I am constantly switching back and fourth and cant stick with either. vist has some pretty cool features but Xp has about twice the amount of performance.

Windows Vista does rock but to a point. There are certain parts of vista that are not so hot though. Overall it is a very well operation system for all the new features and goodies but if you do not have the proper hardware forget it. Vista is a hardware hog especially when it comes to memory. For example I have a gig in my computer and XP uses 184mb ram doing nothing at the desktop but Vista on the other hand Vista uses about 625mb ram thats a big difference. Also you need to have a dual core in vista or you are looking at a machine that is slower than anything. So overall it is good for all the updates, looks, and everything but performance it is totally different.

No video or post can be many different causes. Some of the main causes is your connections. Check your connections to video is the most basic. Here are some other things to try that might help.Reset the ram - make sure you are grounded firstcheck the cpu - make sure is is properly seatedcheck all power connections insideand tons more it could be but ther are a few you could try

Winrar is defiantly a better program than winzip for a couple of reasons. Winrar has the capability to open and created zip files and rar files where winzip cant. Also a nice feature in winrar is that you can encrypt your information and even the file names in rar which cant happen in rar. So basically winzip is a zip only program where winrar is a program that does much more.

Hard Drive Freezer Trick have you ever tried it?
harshcpu replied to serverph's topic in Hardware Workshop
The freezer trick is a funny story. It has been said to work and Personally It did not exactly work. Stuck it in a freezer bag to prevent condensation and put it in the freezer for about three hours or so to cool it down. I had read somewhere that the point of the freezer trick is to cool off the components on the board of the drive. If the components get cooled off you MAY get lucky and your drive may work for a couple of mins until the chips and components warm up again and it stops. This may be just enough to get your information backed up. My suggestion would be to try it What do you have to loose. Also if you do get it going again dont waste any time back up your stuff immediately because this is not a permanent fix. Good Luck -
AMD is the better company .Their processors are created for proformance.intel processors are created for speed.Which you rather have a processor made for proformance of one made for speedBasicaly you can have a intel at a faster speed but if the am has the proformance it will probably be better than the intel processsor.
