Ever since i first got this error, awstats has not worked since. So i dont think its maintenance unless the servers are constantly being optimized. I cannot update them either, because I cannot get into it, it just comes up with that error. Could i be missing some files? It says no such file directory, so perhaps im missing the files for awstats to work.

When I click into my Awstats, I get the following error: I have searched the forums and seen similar topics, the exact same error actually, and none have had a solution. This was working before, and perhaps it was a theme change that caused this error... I'm not too sure about that. Can anyone help me to get Awstats working on my account again? Thanks.

I saw this on the news a few days ago. I hope she grows up healthy and normal. Usually with these type of stories, it doesnt end up well.

I dont think homework is pointless, because it developes knowledge as well as personal work ethic. Although when its to do with exams, i think it can be pointless. You do the homework, and learn the work, but then you end up forgetting. My teachers are always saying how at the start of the year students get high marks, and they drop on that same subject, and at the end of the year when final exams are on, they get low marks. So why not do the homework before the exams? I dont mean the day before, but when you will remember and everything is fresh in your head and you can go in and do well in those exams. Although I think this depends on the type of person you are, this method works for me, but i think i am too lazy to put in the effort to do homework. Im not worried about my exams though.

I've never played a PS3, but I love my 360. I'm sure the PS3 has a lot going for it, and in light of the recent price drop (60-gig version for $500), it sounds like a much better deal on paper. (HDMI out, built-in WiFi, Blueray player... a comperable 360 setup would run you nearly $800!) But the 360 has enjoyed a full year's head start, and that means there's tons of great HD games to play on it right now, with a boatload more on the way this year. The PS3's lineup? Eh. I guess Killzone looks pretty nuts, but that one isn't out until 2008.If you're just looking to enjoy some crazy HD gaming, the $400 model 360 will blow you away. 720p via component is pretty freakin' rad. If you have the $500 to burn, I recommend you buy a 360, then spend the $100 you save on a gold Xbox Live membership ($50), along with a kickass game like Gears of War, Oblivion, or anything out of the 360's top-tier lineup.

You can login to your CPanel right? My account is actually suspended at the moment so i cant login and check anything right now... I was able to delete the .htacess files from the directorys in the public_html directory, which these .htacces files were added into after my account was suspended. I dont know how it works but im assuming that when your account is suspended they place .htaccess files in your accounts directorys, and when you get enough credits they delete themselves again. And for me they didnt delete properly... Are there any .htaccess files in your account that werent there before?

I'm not from the US, but I would like Hilary Clinton to win. Even though i know very little about US politics, I think it will provide a refreshing change to the US government and how things are run.

Apparently private schools and public school students get pretty much the same education, but the private schools have way more resources. The extra money has to go somewhere. I know people who go to private schools and they dont say they are better or smarter at all. Its just another type of school, so what? I also think that every student is responsible for his/her education. I personally think you can learn from a text book than from teacher, and its the students responsibility to learn themselves rather than the teacher putting in all the world for your education. I goto a public school and still wear a uniform. I actually prefer a uniform.

What Would You Do If There Was No Internet? hmm...
Carson replied to whyme's topic in Science and Technology
I have sort of a different take on this type of thing. As groups of people, societies, cultures, and the world becomes ever more complex and sophisticated (and I'm using the word in the positive, and not the negative sense) pressures build within it, both overt, and sub-conscious, to express latent and previously unexploited capabilities and talents. That is as things grow they naturally develop new capabilities and abilities to match their progressive momentum. So if the personal computer had not been invented (and the public internet, which is what we're really talking about, not blossomed as a result of that) and the internet not arisen, then something very like it would have. That is it is inevitable that a certain level of complexity will produce or give birth to those technologies which will either maintain that level of complexity, or exceed it. I call this part of the Impetus of God Technology, which is a proposition that all higher technologies imitate capabilities traditionally ascribed to God, but also that all higher technologies (be they physical, communicative, computational, electronic, energy-based, information based, biological, industrial/manufacturing/replicational, etc.) have a built in impetus towards growth and an innate means and method of evolving, given the limitations and strictures of the imaginations (and physical capabilities, both in raw materials and in personal nature) of those who will produce such technologies. In other words at some point God technology will trigger an impetus towards an evolution of ever more capable God technologies, given whatever the nature of the present environment, and that evolution will gain more sophisticated expression which demands the development of new technologies as it evolves. Start the process and it cannot but continue to progress in order to assure it's own progress, or put another way, the pressure to exploit current capabilities always assures that by such exploitation future capabilities will be necessarily gained, even when unlooked for or unanticipated. Or more simply every advance creates new problems and by doing so that advance assures future advancement to solve the problems it created by attempting to solve other problems. God technology works that way, it gives birth to a thing which solves a problem and that thing creates new problems in relation to the problem it solves and that causes new advancements by exploiting and expanding the cycle of both potential problems and potential solutions. So if I were not using this technology, I would be using whatever technology were available which would be parallel in function and capacity, though not necessarily exactly the same in capability or method. In other words if the PC, or networked computer or the internet did not exist as currently construed then I would be using whatever would have arisen in their absence which was a successor to the manual typewriter (which was simply a Personal version of the old style impression printing press, just a PPP, instead of a PC), and the electronic typewriter (which was a further advance upon the personal printing press, just electrified, and with primitive computing functions for formatting - and like you, I used both by the way, manual and electronic typewriters before moving on to primitive PCs and printers). But that's another thing about God technology. It is by nature dispersible. That is as it grows in sophistication beyond a certain point (in contrast to ancient and medieval technology, which could be extremely sophisticated but tended to not be mass produced or distributed - at first anyway) it looks for a way to disseminate itself widely, to become personalized (and eventually it will look for a way to become "individualized" as well) and to distribute itself among the largest number of users and within the biggest field of operation possible. It has a natural impetus to evolve, like a biological organism, and it has a natural impetus to spread itself outwards and infiltrate every possible organism and environment which it can, also like a biological organism. As a matter of fact all modern sophisticated technology is simply imitating biology, the computer the brain and mind and hand of man, the television (to see from afar) the eye and mouth, the radio the ear and mouth, the telephone (the voice from afar) the ear and mouth the car the mobile capacities, and so forth and so on, and so technology also imitates the evolutionary (I am not speaking of Darwinian evolution, which is primitive and short sighted, but I mean real evolution, the natural tendency and desire to gain real advantage and real improvement over a vast array of disciplines; biological, mental, psychological, spiritual, social, religious, artistic, scientific, communicative, etc.) impetus of biological organisms, which in turn imitate God's advantages. So if not the car, then whatever like it would have arisen, and if not the internet, then whatever like it would have arisen. This doesn't mean I'm naive about the real limitations of whatever technology currently exists, or may ever exist, I'm very skeptical of the idea that many modern people have that the Internet is some amazing Ubertechnologie which will revolutionize the world and solve all of mankind's problems, but it does mean that whatever it really is, or whatever might have arisen in its place, or whatever superior technology will bury or replace it, I think people should exploit them fully and in the best possible way for both personal and group advantage. So I suspect that you too would have been exploiting whatever had arisen instead in the best way you could figure out to do so.And that's just the way it should be, in my opinion. -
Wow, that must have been a really scary experience. We dont have any poisonous in our country, let alone snakes. You must be lucky it was not a dangerous/posionous snake(Or was it?), or something much worse could have happened. One night when i was sleeping, i left my window open, and i heard a noise. When I looked up there were two glowing eyes coming right out from the window. I ran straight for parents. It turns out it was just a cat, but man was i scared. Nothing compared to a snake though. I heard a story of a boy who was camping, and we he woke up a snake was completely wrapped around him and trying to strangle him. I think he may have died, but im not sure. Im glad we dont have snakes in our country....

Super Smash Brothers Melee Does anyone still play this game?
Carson replied to darvtech's topic in Computer Gaming
At school they used to play this game a lot. They were in this room at lunchtimes, and they all used to say show off about how long the played it. They let me have a go, and it was ok. But those guys scared me a bit... i think sometimes people can get too addicted to a game, and play for far too long. One said they played for like 400 hours? Is is just me, or is that too long to play one game? -
Its not worth thinking about if it is going to stop you making out with her, or stop you having fun with her. I think the chances are pretty small of getting a disease or sick from it, and if you do it most likely wont be anything serious. Forget about those things and just have fun. Although you should think about those kind of things when having sex, then it can be serious and you need to be careful.

I have had this problem before. I went to my main url and the page went fine, but when i went to the forums directory, it came up with the suspended account page. So my account was unsuspended, but the suspended account pages had remained. I found a .htaccess file in my forums directory and deleted it, and then it started working correctly again. Perhaps you have a similar problem here?

Thank you for your support, and especially for those links. They seem very helpful. I have started to read some e-books about online business, and how to start off. I have been making websites for a couple of years, and sometimes it seems like i know more about it than they do(Websites not the business parts). I have subscribed to a few business newsletters, and they usually interesting, and quite helpful for ideas. I have exams soon, so after im done with those I will attempt to actually get this idea off the ground. Thank you for your suggestions.

Sounds like a corrupt system to me. There are organizations in this country who can help with these kind of situations, being treated unfairly that is. Although taking the police to court is not such a good idea. Its hard to fight the authorities.

A couple of mates of mine went to Japan this year for the Karate world championships. I think one of them came 3rd or something. Goodluck with your championships. Do your best .

To save those credits, what you could do is register another account, and donate all your hosting credits to that account(Except 30, or 10 depending on what hosting package you want), then apply for a hosting package. Once you are hosted, you can just log in with you other account and donate your credits back to your hosted account. Someone mysteriously donated 60 credits to me.... i have no idea why. But that is how you can save your credits.

Yahoo Mail Bycotted Iran ?! Yahoo mail bycotted Iran ?
Carson replied to click2007's topic in Websites and Web Designing
When I signed up for a yahoo email account, i choose United States from the drop list. Can people from Iran still sign up for yahoo accounts? I think its pathetic that a service like yahoo would take Iran off the list for reasons like that. -
Have checked that all of the speakers are hooked up correctly? Sometimes a loose connection will make the sound quiet.

How Do I Not Deck This Kid Across The Hallway? I abs. Hate school...
Carson replied to Picc84's topic in General Discussion
I think you should go to one of your teachers and tell them about it. Usually I would take the violent approach, but i cant just tell you to go and knock them all out. I dont understand why students who get bullied dont go to the teachers about it. If they dont listen, ask someone else. If they dont listen, goto some else again. There will be someone who can help. Demand to see the principal about it if you have to. You can get them in a lot trouble that way. If they dont stop, just tell on them again, and they will get in more trouble. At the end of it all, either they stop or they get in a lot of trouble. Either way is good for you. -
I have always been interested in business, and always wanted to start my own. That is why I took economics in school to get an idea of how things run. I am 17 and have still have a full year of high school to go, and I plan to take business courses in university. But I dont want to wait all those years until i can start my own business, i want to start right away. Since I am only 17, I think the best option for me at this stage is to have some kind of online business. I have just finished creating a website for a company, and got a paid a decent amount of money for it, and I liked doing it. I am also very experienced in macromedia flash, so my idea for a business would sort of be multimedia type services. For example, flash websites, flash ads and banners, logos, mascots and those kind of services. I haven't done much research, but I think the competition in the market i would be targeting is low, and I know that I can compete with equal/higher quality services. So that would be the main services of the business. I have looked into how to set up a website for this type of business, and how to get the services to the customers, and payment methods etc. I have been thinking about setting up a business like this for a while now, nearly for a year, but I have never got around to started. I have never tried to start up a business before, and im not too sure how to go about it. Im sure there are some experienced Xisto members out there who will be able to give me some advice on how to go about setting this up....

I think you can do well at school and have fun without being lazy and doing nothing in your classes. You are not at school for that long, and it forms the basis of your future career(Normally), so you may as well try hard. You dont got for that long. You only really have to try hard in your last 2-3 years anyway. You can still have fun. Just make good friends, and you can be bad and get into a lot of trouble in your break, that way everyone wins. But you can still try hard and fun.
