  1. First of all, lyon2 please keep in mind that grammar checkers can do wonders if you need them, its plain annoying when someone cant write well-readable posts.Second, i dont think i will ever try gambling for money, you wonder why, because to me that means double risks. If the company turns out to be a flaw, you're nailed. Second risk is the gambling itself, there are no guerantees that the gambling might be rigged or that you have such bad luck that you never succeed, then you would be better off going for some other way to make money. But thats just my opinion
  2. Pff, dont play runescape, play real games ^_^Ive tried runescape for a day or two, but it bored the hell outta me, i had better things to do then boring myself with such a boring little game ^_^Nah seriously, i dont understand why people actually use their real money to buy virtual money, its kind of pathetic if you ask me. Though i will never support something like that, i would never directly insult people because its their problem in the end when they encounter their own personal money problems because they wanted that 1m GP soooooooo badly.I find it sad, someone else might find it effective and easy, just do what you want, but dont knock on my door when you fall in a deep money problem hole
  3. Nicely written tutorial, but in my opinion using javascript is not a practical solution to the pirating problem. Since i usually use PHP in my codes people trying to pirate can only get half of my source, leaving the best part encrypted ^_^Besides, people that want to pirate a basic site layout do not necessarily need your site, there are so many websites that use a similar layout and with enough searching you can probably find what you are looking for, but a basic layout is so easy ^_^Most of them pirates are just too lazy to read a guide or tutorial that actually doesnt necessarily have to be long or hard to understand
  4. Ive never actually played Neverwinter Nights, though ive always liked the graphics and such, the game didnt have that "touch" to tickle me to try it out. Ive heard friends about it but they werent as enthusiastic as you are reflecting it in your post.My first MMORPG was actually just a few years ago with the very first warcraft by Blizzard. Since then ive played/tried all of blizzards games except for WoW (I am not the kind of person that wants to pay for a game, i think its a waste of money, but thats just my opinion)
  5. I actually like it. I usually prefer more complex sites, but simple designs sometimes also can be very amazing, such as this 1. The colours make it look simple, but very nice, a good combination between simplicity and design. My only suggestion here would be adding some perspective to your website and add 1 or 2 colours to colour it a bit. Though it looks clean now, another color to vary would amaze you tremendously i think
  6. Very nice if its made from scratchIt sure looks quite professional and clean, enabling anyone to have a good overview over the forum. The colour combination is also nice and refreshing (literally )The big icons are also something that seems to be coming up, as i see more styles and applications with big icons, like everyone is blind Still like it though. If this really is a forum made from scratch compliments are more then righteous and i hope more people will be able to build such good software, the speed also seems quite fast, even when browsing alot.
  7. If i have some time today, i will attempt to provide an example page using the tutorial Spectre has written, very nicely written tutorial spectre, but yes, a newbie does need an example. From my own experience, i know that many people dont like theory (including myself) and therefore need examples and assignments, practise practise practise, is the keyword :ph34r:As ive stated, i will attempt a well written continuance on Spectres great tutorial, unless Spectre refuses >.<
  8. First, some questions: What FTP program do you use? Are you certain you use the correct login info? Where do you upload your files to? What extension do you use for your files? (.htm .php .asp) What port are you connecting to? These are just a few questions that, if answered, should help all of us to help you on your way. 1+2: Basically, with every ftp program you use, you have to provide a username, password and port, in the case of Trap 17, your username is your cPanel username and pass is cPanel pass, port i cant remember if you answered questions 1 and 2, you have to know where to upload your files to, if you connected correctly you should be in your www folder, this is not the place to upload your files to, browse through your WWW and go to your public_html in there you upload your files, if, for example, you upload index.htm to your public_html, the correct address to surf to is: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Hope this helps..
  9. One question, why would you use Macromedia Flash MX, when you have great image editors such as Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro?Flash MX is for those great animations that dont "lag", not for real image editing, nor as signature tool.I advice you to download either PhotoShop (my favorite) or Paint Shop Pro and screw around a bit in it, there are numberous good tutorials on those on the World Wide Web and I am certain that the Trap 17 GFX community is more then willing to embrace another new artist. The signature basically has a render (wich is usually not hard to get or edit). Your name however is made with quite a bit of detail and i like it, not something you would normally use in a signature, so it sure makes it unique, either way, heads up!
  10. MMORPGS are a great type of games, but there are way too many arising and you cant call them all great, WoW is one of the hits that wont become unpopular for quite a few years, but i know of certainly 2 games that are going to become great games, even though the developers are lazy . I have experienced that the commercial big guys (EA, Blizzard) make games intended to attract a really large croud, and, with their budget, they can actually easily finance their gamestaff and continuously update and patch, wich seriously undermines the newer game developers, even the amaturistics who can bring awesome games, solely because they have very limited resources. And i dont see this change anytime soon
  11. Nice layout, I agree that the header could be decreased in height a little, you dont need that much height anyway, since it doesnt display THAT much :ph34r:To my opinion, your whole site looks...cold...as a photographer you should know that contrast is important, this also situates in site design, contrast is the key, give it a color or two, that should improve it significantly. Love the photos btw.
  12. Not bad for a "pencil-made" site, but its too bad you did not include the link section in your design, including it should greatly increase the design rating, im sure of it!Not much to say more..
  13. Another dutch guy :ph34r:Mooie site (sorry for the dutch )As everyone has said before, too much nature on a furniture site, but you dont need to completely remove it, because nature isnt that far from furniture, a tiny bit of nature in the site should give the visitor the feeling that this furniture is somewhat close to nature (or something) but it certainly gives a representative view on the companys furniture, the flash stuff is well made and well detailed. good job!
  14. Ah, you finally finished it (well so far )I have been away for quite a while so i dont know how long its been this far, though i remember the splash page with coming soon :ph34r:Love the site, big fonts is what i dont like, but its a preference so i wont be judging it.Very simple, modern design, but my suggestion here would be to remove the gray background, if you remove it, it will display round edges, wich complies to your smooth design, basically thats the only suggestion i have, love the color schemes aswell
  15. It is very simple to set up your workplace for editing your online pages First, get this FTP program (there are numberous more but this one is best to my opinion): SmartFTP When you have downloaded it, install it and configure it a bit (Basically, all you need is your cPanel login username and password, and a port to connect to (i cant remember what it is) will post the port later if needed. Then, it is all very easy, you can download and upload files from and to the server (your hosted space) and with NotePad (simple but effective, no downloads needed aswell) you can edit anything. If you're using SmartFTP, when you are in your webspace (within the application) just drag the file you wanna edit to your folder (on your hard drive), when thats done, open that file with an editor (Notepad) and edit wherever necessary), then save it and drag it back to your hosted webspace, it will ask you if want to overwrite the existing file, well you edited so yea overwrite ^^ thats it! Hope it helps
  16. Whoa! Not bad at all, I like "boxed" websites instead of those 100% sized sites, on top of that, the "borders" have had a nice touch. You could, however, decrease the size of the shoutbox a bit because it now takes up alot of space and doesnt look that well. Also, you might wanna disable scrolling in the shoutbox frame and its outer frame, because it shows up now.To my opinion the font is a bit big, but it can do, Really a nice site, give it the few little finishing touches it needs and you got yourself a well-designed site

    Gunbound

GunBound, seems its still popularI have played this game for nearly 2 years (with 1 time a 6month break and 1 time a 4month break) and a few months ago i saw the light and quit GunBound forever, 50k gp is too much (that is what have in total gp) but the hackers, the botters and the scammers forced me to leave the game forever, i found out i already turned to the first of 4 wands (Violet hole) while you first needed 30k gp for Violet Hole and 42k gp for Sapphire hole (wich i have had for a loong time)Enough is enough, when you get bored of a game, quit it. there are numberous games on the net and boring yourself on one game is wasting your time...
  18. It's always very useful to carefully read your error, they usually contain the solution (with a bit of logic thinking) aswell. The same thing is with your error, its a common error, but it always states the problem line at the end, line 9. When i read on your line 9 i read: Header( "Location: $location" ); ... sorry but i do not think that is actually possible, because the syntax of that is: Header("Location: [url="https://sedo.com/us/services/broker-service/?language=us?tracked=&partnerid=&language=us ); When outputted to your browser, it could be seen right...IF the browser translates it, if it stops at the '$' then there is no way you will see your variable translated, wich means it will not redirect wich mean it will display an error, try putting in a full url and see how it goes.. Hope that helps
  19. Great to see other people who know enough about php too (it may be bad for my hosting credits tho , gained alot by answering php qustions )
  20. Well, the walking is rather slow, but the running is much faster..and as far as ive seen it, you dont lose any points or anything with running I basically did this, also because the summer is boring, they call 2 sunny days (yesterday and the day before) the summer of the netherlands, today its damn rainy and the foresight for the next week sucks even more..long live the computer >.>
  21. I've come across another 3d MMORPG and it carries the name Ferentus. After reading some topics in their forum, it seems that the devs are a bit screwing up on a translated korean game (Yet another korean game in translation phase?>.>). With having had 2 character whipes so far and only 2 months away from official releases, i wonder if they can make it to the deadline, there are still numberous of bugs, errors and leaks. Although the sceptic statements i just made, the game looks awesome, I am downloading it right now, to see if it is anything. Hope so...still 346MB Hopefully Ill see some fellow T17 Members in Ferentus Info: Website: http://www.ferentus.com/ferentus/index.php forums : http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Minimum System Requirements: Pentium III 1 GHZ or greater 256 MB RAM 32 MB Video Card Recommended System Requirements: Pentium 4 2 GHZ or greater 512 MB RAM 64 MB 3D Video Card Download Client: 346 MegaBytes(MB) Download url: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Download Mirror 1: http://www.gamershell.com/download_9511.shtml
  22. 23. impossibleYou will have to do it manually
  24. Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/whistle/public_html/center/counter/config.php3:20) in /home/whistle/public_html/center/counter/Change.php3 on line 20 1: Ensure there are no blank lines before the error 2: Make sure session_start() or cookie setups is/are the very first thing(s) after <?php, meaning it MUST be on line 2 3: Make sure the header is written correctly, it needs a full url and not just "change.php" , but "http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/;, in some cases, it's not necessary, but it gives you extra insurance that it isnt that 4: If the above dont solve your problem reply, ill dig in further..
