I think my system configuration is very similar to yours.Actually, my computer slows down only when there is music or sound going on. Whenever my mIRC beeps while I'm on this site, it almost freezes. Similar thing happens when I play music.

That's in the General Admin --> Configuration of the navigation menu on the left of the admin panel. Change the Site name and Site description.

I don't know if it's just me, but when ever I have this site in my browser, and I'm doing something else, my whole computer slows down. Is it because of the ads on this page? Or does it have nothing to do with this site?

Yeah, Alien Hominid is fun, I've only played the online flash version though.I think the best game is Spy Fiction. I have only played the Japanese version, and I heard that the English version is much better.

They say GNOME is similar to windows, but I think it looks ugly, like rusted... rusts. I think KDE looks much nicer, and looks more like windows than GNOME. I wish I could replace windows' theme with KDE though, cause KDE looks so much better.

I don't know, I guess the view count doesn't really matter... I don't really looks at the view count, and if I do, I would remember to minus one from the count.

Looks pretty "professional", but some texts are a bit unreadable. You might want to consider to change the background, the font color, or enlarge the font. I think doing anyone of them would fix it. The navigation menu on the top left seems a little empty. You could make the fonts bigger to fill in the space or just make the space look smaller.Overall, it's pretty good. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give it an 8.

PHP Designer's pretty nice, too. It lets you edit HTML, XML, PHP, SQL, JavaScript, and CSS. I use it for mostly non-HTML stuff, cause I already have FrontPage.Did I mension PHP Designer is free?

I haven't played it (or even heard of it). What do you do in that game? Is it free?

Yeah, I learned about that in my class, but I didn't watch the show.I think they could do something like recommend people to leave, but it's not neccesary, so that people who are afraid could leave, but people who don't trust the government could stay.Of course, that would kill a lot of people if a disaster happens, but the people who stayed had a warning, and they chose to stay...

Do you have frontpage? If you do, use the function it has to add your swf as a plugin. I've never had any trouble with that, and I think it might help.

Yes, if you mount your Windows files partition to make it access-able to Linux. SuSe's installation disc automatically configures that and asks you if you want it, but I don't think Mandrake does that... Most files are compatible with linux (eg. word documents, zip, etc.), but exe, the core of windows (actually no ), isn't.

I think that maybe some time in the future, Google will start its own Internet service, and maybe if you purchase that, you can get Google's other tools, like Internet phone (if it's true). That would be nice.

Yeah, I like Flash because it looks nice, does not require the viewer to have the font you made the flash with to have the same effect, and because you can only use one plug-in to view it, which makes it all standard.

I don't know if iTunes and iPod is compatible with Linux, but it could be.Linux is mostly safe, because not many people makes virus for Linux.If you install your Linux on a different partition than your windows partition (you can create partitions with your Mandrake disc), absolutely nothing will happen to your Windows partition. Though when you boot your computer up, you will have to choose between booting with Windows or Linux, but that isn't really a problem...In my opinion, dual boot (what I'm doing right now) kinda sucks.

Uh, I've never heard of the "archive_in" directory. In fact, I don't think InvisionFree lets you upload files (Unless you're using the paid Invision, then I don't know...). If you want additional skin files, you need to upload it to your site, and host it there. I hope that helps.

I don't really think they would, even if their price went down. There are a lot of other things like this in the past that didn't effect our technology. But, if the price REALLY (REALLY) went down, it might become popular. Who knows?

Hey, I'm in Ohio too! I use RoadRunner broadband, and it's 100mb per second. It's great, and I haven't heard anyone with typical broadband get speeds as fast as I do. I feel PROUD!!!

Does anyone know how to animate hypercubes? (Like the one here.) I want to import it into flash, so Java isn't really an option for me. I don't have any screen capture software that makes animation either, so I can't do that.

Well, no one can say that a Theory is correct. But, I think what you said isn't really the right information. The person going into the blackhole's point of view: When you go near a blackhole, Time slows down more and more as your speed increases. Once you have gone too near, Time appears to freeze and you'll stop there. Person watching: The person going inside the blackhole will get sucked in, but will go slower and slower, while turning more and more red untill he is invisible to you (Too dark). This (the slowing down part) is because the gravity of the blackhole would pull lights in, and the closer the light is to the center of the blackhole, the longer it takes for the light to come out.
