You could also try this string: GetModifiers -java +win32 - that will effectively silter out all java pages and give you only the Win32 ones. The "-" and "+" in search string make a BIG Difference. I tried it out just now and got ONLY pages with Win32 Regards, m^e

VBScript happens to be an offshoot of the Visual Basic language - created by Microsoft as a reply to the JavaScript onslaught. It never really caught on so much, due to a whole lot of limitations and OS dependence. But VBScript allowed you to embed a whole lot of Windows Forms & ActiveX Controls on your web-page - the same kind of controls that you would normally use while designing a form in Visual Studio. Yup, you do need a Windows Server Machine with IIS (Internet Information Server) running on it, to be able to server pages written with VBScript. Yup it's quite possible, but you'll need a system with huge amounts of RAM - preferrably at least 512MB for smooth operation. There is this utility called VMWare found at: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ - you've to download the right client for your system. This software (if you're running on windows) - starts a Virtual PC inside your OS, which acts like a Computer within a Computer. You can specify the Hard Drive space and amount of RAM to be alloted to this Virtual Computer. These get deducted from your real RAM and HDD Space.. You can then install Linux into this Virtual Computer, or vice-versa, i.e. run it on Linux and install Windows inside it. This virtual machine also sets up some virtual ethernet cards/interfaces, which means you can have windows and linux interact with each other over an imaginary network, even if you don't have any network cards... This is a totally cool thing - and not difficult at all to set up... It's a must try

Here's something to alleviate your doubts No you needn't be 18 to join - but you DO need to be in a country where PayPal can hand out payments - coz that's how you get them delivered. Nope. They have a check for that - if you use the same search string twice, the second time you don't get paid and it's not counted as a paid search either. If you sign up directly - then the 2cents per search stays with ONLY you. But supposing you signed up UNDER me as a REFERRAL, then they actually dish out 4 cents per search. You get to keep your 2 and I get handed an extra 2 on top of that. This also happens if YOU manage to get more referrals UNDER you. When they search even you get 2 cents for each of their searches. They recommend TEN as a good number of referrals to have under anybody - that way, you are guaranteed to have around $200 per month, if everyone does their searches regularly. I don't think the age matters - coz they don't really check for your age anywhere. But on the other hand, when PayPal sends you your money - whatever amount you earned, it will come in the form of a Check - which you'll need to encash. And for that you need a bank account. Even if you are around 15, I think you can easily get yourself a Minor Bank Account. (At least that's how it works in India - dunno about elsewhere). Hope this helps

Have any of you ever come across these amazing techniques ? Hi guys, Now there's another site called Pay-Pup similar to Netbux - that pays you $0.02 or 2 cents per search you do through them. Only difference with Netbux is that these guys let you do 50 payable searches per day - letting you earn a maximum of $1.00 per day. Here's the deal - am trying to get referals under me in both these services. For each search that you perform through these sites, you get 2 cents and so do I. So far I've got 8 referals under me in Netbux and 1 in Pay-pup (moonwitch) - am trying to do as many searches as possible and telling my referals to do so too. The gathered money will be used to support AntiLost.Com - the OpenSource Collaborative Software Development Site we're launching soon. Yup.. I copied that picture, used photoshop to cut out that Icon on the left. Initially I'd used the same color theme as the original note here in the topic starter - but didn't like them in the long run. So I fired up FireWorks and created the title bar and the "X" button myself and added them in. If you want to know the underlying code behind the NOTE tag, check in the HTML, XML & Other Markup languages section under Howto's and Tutorials. What I think is the slowing down is caused by the Advertisement Server - the one tht generates random banner ads in between posts. Board without those ads work way faster - but you gotta have them here to support this free site. The ads one of the biggest revenue makers for asta and thus helps us provide you with this great free service.

Or you can bypass all that hassle of setting up your own servers, getting a dedicated line, maintaining everything - and instead take up a reseller account from any of the hosting providers. There are many out there on the net who provide you with very cheap reseller accounts, which you can then distribute to as many clients as you want. The provider will supply you with all necessary tools like cPanel, Fantastico etc. No headaches over maintaining servers - they do it all. Only thing you need to look after is your own customers....

I'm using netbux - they'll hand out payment only when the total reaches $50 - am still waiting to see if they really pay up. Otherwise they're in for it
