  1. "'Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." is my favorite quote. True, true.
  2. Ah, I see what you mean. Well, a good friend of mine broke up with his girlfriend after about 2 years or so, solely because there wasn't enough "vroom" left in the relationship. He said she became tedious, and nothing was new. Now I believe thats crap, really. I believe some people just get bored after awhile, but if it is your true love you'll never get bored, eh? I know this isn't a straight forward answer to your question, but theres gonna be a lot of answers to your question and there all gonna be varied, you just really never know. Hope I helped atleast some, best of wishes in your relationship and don't let it get boring.
  3. Well then you could always use IPBfree.com a great free IPB forum host. Thats what I use, atleast. Theres tons of good sites that host IPB forums.
  4. If Xisto - Web Hosting does have these, there most likely the v1.3, which is still a very good forum script, made back in 2003 but people can use it now for free, and alot of free forum hosting sites have this option to host a IPB board. You can't get any other version for free, yet atleast. After a little more time passes they'll allow people to use 1.4 for free, then 1.5, etc! Its a very good forum script, so give it a try. But I have no clue if Xisto - Web Hosting has these, never heard of Xisto - Web Hosting. o.O
  5. Um, I don't see the real point in this thread. And, your really not making much sense.. Your trying to compare war with a video game? The way your talking in the first post makes you seem like a kid who heard something on the news, and trying to act like you know everything about war's. I'm telling you right now I don't know much about war, even though I know bits and peices from history class and other resources, i'm not gonna try and make a thread comparing war to a video game any day. Video game = virtual, War = Real life. You just can't compare something virtual to something thats real. That's just common knowledge. That's just my opinion, really.
  6. Wow, those are really great looking signatures. Really can't complain about anything on either one of them, they seem next-to-perfect to me. You got some skill, 10\10 for all. Keep up the good work.
  7. Looks good, but I use WellGet. It looks alot like WellGet, but i'll try it. Thanks for the link.Downloading it now.
  8. I love how IPB looks, but your right, the price is horrible. But you can go with the 10$ monthly paying, and you don't even have to get a host, they run it on there own, reliable servers, so it's pretty much worth the 10$ per month. PhpBB3 is gonna "own" IPB\vB Foo!
  9. Phpbb, hands down. Free, So much flexibility, Easy to mod\skin, and so on and so on! It's very reliable, and including that it has the price of 160.00$ free. Second place has to be SMF, very reliable and good aswell.
  10. Wow, I really love the interface, and the logo was funny. Even though its not the best, It's a little more refined then what I usually find via google (Which is always a lot of access crap.) thanks for posting this, i'll be using this for now and google.
  11. Thank you very much. ^_^

    Nice to meet you.

  12. I really like the background, very good. And the hearts blend in well with it, but the text is hard to read, but fits the "romantic" mood. A very good signature for valentines day. Good job, Keep it up, and thanks for sharing this with us!
  13. Wow, that actually works. I tryed it in firefox and it worked, but I usually use Opera. Oh well.Still a good thing to know. Thanks for posting that. EDIT:Small Typo
  14. Wow, I love it. I love at how it pops out at you, and how it blends just oh so well. And that beam of light coming down just adds to the beauty. I give it a 9/10, it's nearly perfect, but it feels like something is missing from it. Besides that, great work! Keep it up.
  15. I agree with mainly everything you just said. I'm glad I didn't buy an xbox, I only play on my friends xbox to play halo with him. And the PS2, yes, has alot of cheap, awesome games that can really kill some time. But, computer wins, hands down. Psh, you could play PS2\xbox games on the computer if you wanted. *Cough*Emulators*Cough*. But, man, I so wanted to vote for the NDS. God I love it, but I just get so bored with the few games it has that's good. Its like with the GBA, a huge, and I mean HUGE, library of games, and only about half of them are good. Sigh.
  16. Yeah, mainly what saint said. Not exactly liking the text, but either way its all good. I really like the outcome of this, i'll have to use it in one of my sig's one time. I just tryed it out, works pretty dang good. Keep up the good work.
  17. I love it, looks great. There's not much else you can do to that to make it look better, besides brightening it up a TAD bit. Kinda dark, unless your going for that then thats good. Great work!Oh, and wherever you got those brushes, good find. xD
  18. I'm gonna have to go with computer, because theres just so many games out there for the computer AND theres rom's and such! But, I love my DS as well, I would have voted that, but it doesn't have a good library of games yet, sadly. But the good games it has, it's awesome. Mario Kart, Metroid Prime Hunters, Animal crossing:wild world, etc are just so fun and fresh because of the well, you know, touch screen.
  19. Flash can be stolen with ease, yes, but people putting up there works of flash know that thats a possibility. Its like walking with a few hundred dollar bill's in hand down the sidewalk of a bad neighborhood, you know? It's just that low life morons who download programs to steal flash do, because they have nothing better to do. Theres not much you can do until they make better security for flash, but then someone will figure out how to steal that then it'll all be wasted. Trying to stop people from stealing flash on the internet is like trying to have world peace, you can try, but its never gonna happen.
  20. I liked the first one best, simplistic but lovely. 9\10The second one really stands out, I like it aswell. 8\10And the third one really looked great, it just blended together so well. 9\10Keep up the good work, they all look fantastic!
  21. Oh my god I love this game. I play it every once in awhile, geez it's so fun. Best racing game for the pc, in my opinion. If you haven't tryed out this game, try it now if you like racing games. It's a blast. Even though it's kinda hard to get the controls down, after you do, it is SO much fun. ;)I'm glad people still play this.
  22. Why in the heck did you bring back a over a year old post? Theres no point in that. But, battlefield 2 for ps2 online is pretty fun. Thats probaly my favorite.
  23. Haha, not neccesarily. The teachers could see you playing it, a student could see you playing it and asked how you were and go to that site, then he tells a friend which someone sees him playing them that guy tells another person and it branches off until a teacher finds out and it gets blocked. But eh, it'll last while it lasts, o_o Best of luck, I guess. I'd probaly do the same, but they don't block it at my school.
  24. Okay, sorry to burst your bubble, but no, its not good for a PRIMARY career. It's a great side-job though, because alot of people will pay pretty darn good for a good web design. The problem is if you were gonna make it your primary job, you'd have the risk of a long wait of waiting for someone to ask you for a web design. Could take a minute, could take a month. Not everyone who makes a site hires someone to make the layout for them, since theres alot of pre-made styles where you can download them for free at random sites, which actually look pretty good. So you could easily hit a snag and come to a dead stop for quite some time, not making any money. But it sure is a great side-job, so still stick at it but don't make it your one and only job. ;)Thats just my opinion.
  25. Oh come on, now really, is it all that necessary for you to show off in tactical's thread? It's rude if you ask me. Anyways, those are very good looking! Just keep looking at tutorials, ask experienced users for advice, and so on to improve. Oh, and you can improve yourself just by messing around. Best of luck in the future.
