Yea my uncle runs it on his 64bit and he says its just like the 32bit windows XP, and i havent herd of not being able to play any games that you would nomaly play on the 32bit version. if you decide to go with it let me know how it works for you and if you think it sucks or not.

Performance gains depend on the cpu itself and the cooling for it, Take Intel for example, the cpu's coming off the same platter are not clocked at the same speed, you could get a 2.4Ghz cpu and clock it to 2.6 before it starts to fail but another cpu off the same platter running at 2.4Ghz might overclock to 2.8 or higher. but it also depends on the cooling, the lower the temp. of the cpu the less resistance. the high the clock.

Yea get yourself a linux on cd and play around with it before making the plunge of a whole new system OS, i hate hearing stories about how people put linux on their machine and then complain about wanting Windows back because they dont like linux, research, research, research

I have built several computers for people and loved doing every single one i built, i was looking for a new case to build my next personal computer in and i ran accross this monster from thermaltake. Yea you must know what your doing when you overclock a computer because your either going to make it run faster or burn up your CPU. http://www.overclockers.com/ has some good tips and tricks on overclocking if you want to get into it.

Well i hate to break it to you guys but this is a CMS, i just played with it and put it up there. im not planing on keeping it tho because i dont really like the layout and im just going to start one from scratch. I do like the thought of useing a CMS but i dont have total controll of what if looks like and i want more graphic elements to it, i agree with you bjrn its just to plain and standard.

If your using Firefox it looks like you typed something different, its a Firefox bug. what you typed is what the other person will see not what you see.

Well it says mysql is up but apache (1.3.33 (Unix)) is down and so is spamd.It also says i dont have any mysql DB's but i should have one so I asume mysql is down.

well if your new to linux i would go with Suse, its a good beginers linux, or even before going with that you could try a linux distro on a cd. like knoppix, it will let you see what linux is like before installing it to your hard drive.
