If I could choose between a google, new, one gb webhosting or Xisto, supportive, easy-to-use webhosting, I would go with Xisto. I am a very big supporter of google, i've never said anything bad about them. I 100% support thier search engine and other products such as Desktop Search. I just don't think google would work out as a free webhosting provider. I also think alot of people would stick with payed webbhosting instead of switching to google free.

Hey. Could someone tell me whats wrong with my site? http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. When someone else visits it the php shows and the site works. When I visit it the php doesn't show and I get a blank page for ALL files in the /xore directory. I think this is more a problem with my browser than a problem with Xisto. I would just like to check because php needs to be processed by the server. I am getting this in the source: <html><body></body></html> Thanks in advance.

Help. I just got the cron jobs working and now its saying file not found. Here is a image of what I enter. Image I'm getting an email saying: Can anyone help me on this? I really need these cron jobs. The times I have it set on are: 0 Minutes, 12:00 Hours, Every Day, Every Month.

Can someone define ''open source'' and ''GNU'' in a dictionary? I know what they are but its just like.. I don't. Its all confuzzling about the software type. I would prefer to have all the software on my computer freely released under the GNU PL. Sadly that will never happen. I blame it all no Bill Gates and his company, and company.

Anyone who has a problem posting a tiny one message per day has a problem. You're getting much more than most payed hosting providers would give you for free and you don't want to spend one or two minutes posting a small message for the day? If someones not going to do that how can you have enough time to operate a webpage. -

When you first join the system is very confuzzzzling, when I joined I just couldn't understand why my posts wern't getting counted. o_0. Then I saw a topic about the char limit for being counted and I still thought the system was buggy. Soon I found how much I need to get a post, once you find that you understand it. Hey once again. This is directed at the staff but anyone please please answer.I downloaded IRCd and uploaded the files. It was I need to run the install file. I know how to do this on a Linux desktop but is it posiable to run it from Xisto? I know it may not be posiable or may be disallowed. I will be pleased to get any support. I know I will, I always do here at Xisto.

My father went out on me and my mother when I was four. I never really knew him so I don't really miss him, but I do sometimes wish I had a father again. It gets very lonely just being with mother. On a side note being around a female all the time has made me sort of soft. I wish that didn't happen. Atleast without a father i'm not football crazy. I hate football.

Dear Staff,I would like to ask if Xisto - Support cron job/crontab. Alot of users need it for thier forums to work. Alot of the forums here are gamefaqs spinoff sourcecodes. All spinoffs as far as I know need crontab. I and alapidus cannot get it to work for our forums. And support if you do have it. If you don't is it posiable to add it?Andrew

I speak english mainly..... I guess thats because im english, not american. I know a tiny tiny tiny bit of french. When I say I know a tiny bit of french I mean I know a extreamly tiny bit. I don't get the point of learning other languages. I'm happy with the way I speak right now thankyou...

Indeed. The cPanel features are really some good features. I hate Phpbb personaly. Try PunBB or whitefyre. WhiteFyre is a gamefaqs spinoff, while PunBB is your normal Bulletin Board.....

I personaly don't use any redirection services apart from a payed domain is I buy one.... Who needs them? All they do is make an easy to remember and cool trap 17 url a stupid short advertised one. I hate them really. They can make your site look a bit better, but the adverts stop me from using them. My friend made one for my site anyway.

Hey all. I got a shock today when I was in my cpanel installing some mysql tables when it says I have 2.59 mb left. I was scared that i've used that much. I went into Disk Viewer and I had used hardly any. I had installed Php-Nuke and i'm aware that takes alot of space, but 48 mb? Anyway i've lost abit by deleting a few unneeded files.
