Judging Religions By The People
sylenzednuke replied to sweet_princess's topic in General Discussion
I agree one can never judge religions by the people following them... I did in my past and now I regret it totally...I have friends from almost all the major religions as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism and even Agnostics and Atheists like I am.They are all nice to me and I am nice to them, once in school, no one cares about which religion the other person belongs too, I am an atheist but I usually help other people to defend their religion if some other guy insults someones religion. Like that day this christian guy Clyde (although I never saw him in the church) was giving a hard time to this Muslim junior in our school, I got angry and at once tried to stop the fight, and when that Clyde was out of control, I beat the crap out of him although I was punished by my principle after that but I think my action was right as that guy didn't have any right to bully the other junior just because he was a Muslim.Although some people do discriminate on me as I am an atheist, they look down on me but I don't even care, although they are like that but my friends accept my atheism and everybody I talk with except some elders in my country including my parents don't look down on me, everyday my parents scold me for some silly reason and say that I don't believe in God just because the Devil has taken control of my mind, it kinda sucks when my parents are the ones who don't support me, but still thats life I guess...I know first even I did the same mistake of looking down at Islam because of Osama and some other terrorists, but once I saw a Muslimg wearing a t-shirt with a finger against the potrait of Bush and Osama both and I was touched at that moment, then I realized in my schools, Muslims are one of the most peaceful people, I never saw them engaging into any kind of fights, same with Christians and all others... Although sometimes Hindu's don't mix up with Christians and Muslims as for them non-veg food is a taboo but still other than that, everyone mixes up with everybody so perfectly...I agree that many Christians force people to convert and I have seen this happening in front of my eyes in my village but guess what, some christian priest saw this while he was outside the adjacent church and he stopped the person from forcing the poor farmer, and then I stopped judging religions by some people. -
Well I would suggest you, have a blog but it should be kept in one part, some people want to read blogs all day, like me for example... SO this would also attract visitors to your actual website, if you are a good review writer, chose some softwares or websites on which no many reviews have been written and then post them, if you are good at writing songs or poems even post them on to your site, if you good at sketches do post them also.Thats what I am doing, I am working on a new layout for my website before even the last layout was complete but I am going to put up my sketches, my songs, my graphics and everything I do up there so it would be cool.If you are good at coding in some language or the other, put up small snippets you crated up there, people who need them will flock to your page and then advertise it at others places too.Tell all your friends about your site, this surely will attract you visitors...

Need Help/ Comments On My Site

Could you provide us with a link to your site? -
Hi all, I haven't done graphics for like 1 month and so no practice and absolutely no graphic work except for one avatar, which also turned out to be crap. I tried some new technique in this one which I never used until now in any of my sigs. Please rate it on a scale of 10. All comments, suggestions and criticisms accepted. Thanks.
-
My favourite out of all these great works is the 7th one and I am loving it.All are extremely good and majority of them would get 9/10 from me. Except for a one or two.You need to work on the text of the first 2 sigs and other than that all the sigs are one of the bests I have seen with some nice ideas... :)Nice to see such good graphic designers here and keep up the good work.

My Latest Sigs ~ Samma Im Back
sylenzednuke replied to samma's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
GREAT job done, I am quite new so I don't know you...I loved both of them, because of the hairstyles and the hood. The renders are pretty great but yeah the first one couls so with some more grunge in it, it would just make it look better. If you asked me to rate, I would have given you 10/10 for these ones...Keep up the good work. -
*EDIT*Sorry I rated your current signature and not the one you posted, sorry for that.A little bit equality in the c4d would work as the top-left part of the sig looks very empty. The left edge of the lips look rotten. :PThe sig overall is quite good and I would rate it 7/10. :)You can improve the text a little bit also...

Cool, I will make a shop right away... -
I agree that Xisto would become no. 1 if it even started out giving free domains but the thing is, then the current members are 30,000 +, but that time, it would be 300,000 + members and that would be not good as that many members won't be that active as even currently hardly 30% of the 20,000 are active. And it would be like an overload for admins and mods as they will have to approve so many registrations.I agreed with the discount idea someone posted before.I am happy with my hosting, it's not that I don't have the money to go professional, my dad will give me the money, around 10$ (500 INR) is no pain as my daily allowance is around 50 INR so I could save up a little and in 20 days, I can pay for the entire year on GoDaddy. But the thing, my web-site ain't that good and I don't have many ideas to make it big and hence I am keeping it to this mysitename.trap17.comThen there would be no difference between a person with a domain and newbie who doesn't even know how to code in HTML having his/her own site which would be coded even worse than many of the piczo sites.*EDIT*And yeah I got 44.61 credits with me and I have never gone below 20 as of yet and that too when I was busy with my examinations and it is really easy. With the forums, I got to learn so many things, especially I improved my English alot, managing the blog and forums on my own will give me a kinda "used to" feeling when I go totally profesional with my own domains and stuff and with a small idea in my mind and will in my fingers to make it big.Hence, I would Xisto to be just like it is but yeah if the guys at Xisto and OpaQue are already thinking of something "similar" to it, I am having no problems with that too...

I installed SMF using Fantastico but it had loads of bugs, it's nice that I didn't give anyone the link of my forum. But now I will download a fresh copy of the 1.1 RC3 version and then install it using this tutorial, thanks ProtoMan for posting it.

Yes beastjordon, there is an English version of this site, go to http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ or you can also click on the on the country flag to whom the language you want belongs, they are at the right of their logo at the top. Enjoy the games, some are childish but some are really good.

Well, I agree on this one with Hadi.if he really liked you then most probably he would be overwhelmed by the fact that you like him too, and he would have admitted his feelings too immediately.Still, I can be wrong, because you can go to find 1 weirdo but you will find 1000s of them, I am not telling that your love is weirdo but I am just giving an example.

Well, yeah you are welcome maybe I still got to remove that pet-gaming addiction from my past, I was a review writer for VPL and VWG under the named of {X}Backdoor.Guardian{X} and I was like the whole day getting after referals like people getting after SEOs and blogs nowadays... Procrastination mean like you already have a job pending, but the jobs that are needed to be completed before the actual job are also pending and you waste your time dreaming how to accomplish the main job without making the road clear...

Well, I peel the bananas and then smash them up and add them to a glass of milk. HEHE, I know it is pretty weird but tastes good. -

Yeah I agree, we can even call Web 2.0, the social web and almost every web 2.0 site provides some tool or the other to meet up with people. Thanks biscuitrat for posting the link, it does clarify it very easily and accurately.Allmost all of the sites I have been to have a little bit of AJAX but yeah I just simply hate MySpace, it's like the worse web-site idea ever, Orkut is far more better than MySpace although it has lesser personlization options...
