  1. Coming into the field of creating Operating Systems by Google would be a slow phase, as I think. This is primarily because Google believes in the various products it generates it's revenue from (Google Earth, Google Labs, and the kind). If they currently even are investing on research for a new Operating System, I doubt that they'll show any signs of progress any sooner. If they shift their concentration to Operating Systems then they might lose out on their products, which currently are their profit-making sources. If they risk that, they risk a lot. Even without an Operating System, Google is hitting heavy to Microsoft, and I think they will want to let it continue that way for a while. Only certain situations may have them dwell into newer products.Although, it wouldn't be a bad idea having a Google OS sitting better than Mac. And if it's Open Source (which I highly doubt), it would be better.
  2. It would be quite difficult to select between Nirvana and System of a Down, but if I had to, I'd say System of a Down would be my favorite band.
  3. That is a major setback. Although I don't use Yahoo, but if they still want to stay in competition, they have to fix that in the final version, which I probably think they will. They might be recieving emails about that already.
  4. I don't see any problems with the image, but the only thing bothering me is the font you've used for "delivi". It's a little difficult to make out. What I mean exactly is that the L kind of resembles a t. Other than that, it's fine. Good work I must add.
  5. I agree about the border. Also, adding to that, I think you should not leave the font with just a shadow. Add a little more to that, probably in contrast with the green.I'd rate it 8.5/10. It's really impressive.
  6. Apart from growing vertically, Google regularly expands horizontally. I can't really confirm the source, but I heard that they're even doing research into being an ISP. Or is that already done? I'll do a little research on that later.
  7. Finally. It will be really interesting to see the release, because Microsoft is really depending on Vista and have put in a lot to lose. Thanks for the update.
  8. I'd say it looks more like Outlook Express than it goes GMail. The GMail layout is however better than both the Windows Live Email and Yahoo Mail Beta simply because of it's "simplicity". I haven't much to say about the Windows Live Beta, because it still has a lot more to add to, but the Yahoo Mail Beta is too clogged and too many options at the same time do not contribute to a better interface, and an interface is of prime importance. Just how I think it to be. I hope they make things better with the final release.
  9. Microsoft is really taking the hit with the competition it's recieving from Open Source script writers. I'm not sure if you already know this, but Microsoft even is helping out in the OpenOffice venture which will enable the running of Microsoft Office documents in OpenOffice and vice versa. Of course, it'll be open source. Good news for the open source community I'd say.
  10. I've got a bunch of favorite songs running through my mind at this moment. But if I were to pick my all time favorite Song title: Chop Suey Artist: System of a Down By reading other posts here, I guess no System of a Down fans here?
