Runescape: Good or Not ? Good or Not ?
Shadow X replied to john_meikle1405241509's topic in Computer Gaming
Hello there john_meikle. You're right about one thing, Runescape is definetly a really cheesy game. Take my advice and don't waste your time playing. There are much better online RPG games out there such as Kingsofchaos.com or Darkthrone.com. Also Runescape is a really hard game to get the hang of and it's such a waste of time. The graphics aren't that good and there isn't really anything to do. If you take my advice then don't play it! -
I can't say that I have played r.y.l shimanosuke, sorry. If you give me the website then i'll be glad to check it out.

Deviantart.com art gallery
Shadow X replied to lacking_imagination's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Deviantart.com is definetly the best for people who want to view, rate, upload fan art. I always use deviantart.com to upload my fan art and I must say that it is really useful for when I want to show my pictures to others because they can view them all at once instead of separately. Very nice pictures finaldesign! -
I am also one of the billions of people who use Limewire! I love using Limewire because sometimes there are songs and programs that I can't find on the internet but they are always on Limwire when I search for them. And mayank...if you're downloading a file or program that contains a virus, then Limewire does say that there is a virus and it still gives you the option of downloading or not. When that happens for me I just stop the download because it's not worth downloading viruses. The most useful things that I have downloaded from Limewire and Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and Microsoft Publisher 2003. If there are better programs than Limewire can someone please tell me because i'd like to try out different ones. Thanks.

Paintshop Or Photoshop: Better For Web-graphics ?
Shadow X replied to pokbunnag's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I totally 100% agree with R1chard.f5. Paintshop is really for beginners to get used to working with graphics for the first time. But with Photoshop you have to be careful not to overdo it because it has so many features that can be used all at once. -

This is a very extensive and compicated topic insanity10117, but I will only say the basics! Well, people always say that they cannot live without a computer because then they won't be able to play the latest games or make a website (like us all) but they never think about how society would be without a computer.Without a computer, life within the society and our community would be very difficult indeed. Take databases. All data now adays, ranging from names to dates, is now stored on either a software program such as Microsoft Access, or on a MySQL database if it's for websites. Without computers and the internet we would have to store everything in cabinets and things like that. Also, lots of information on events past, present and future is stored on computers to make a clearer picture. This is because most software programs have advanced functions that can work and solve things out for us without having to use pieces of paper for countless calculations. As well as all these things, most designers and manufacturers use computers to draw or scan things for either backup copies or to make modifications. Without computers to do this, the life of designers and manufacturers would be very hard indeed because they would struggle to make products (I find that I have to use the computer for my D.T.!)So to sum up...we can survive without computers and internet, but it would be very hard indeed!

Newest Site...need Review Plz (designing Aspects)
Shadow X replied to ebbinger_413's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
First of all...nice site ebbinger_413. I can really see that you've worked hard on the layout and the design. I like the banner and content that you've used but I really don't like that 3-dimensional font, it really spoils the rest of the site. As for the background colour, the grey blends in well with the overall layout but I feel that you should use more than one shade of grey to add contrast. After saying all that, I would give the overall layout 7/10. Nice work and keep it up! -
The problem with Grand Theft Auto is that there are so many of them and they are mostly all about the same thing; violence and hurting! But as for Halo their have only been 2 out (3 for X-box 360), so the storyline is more original and therefore more fun.

I really think you should use clicksor. Their are lots of other ad services such as targetfirst or google ads but I think that clicksor is the best. Their ads are more related to the content of your site and you can have the ads in a variety or sizes.

Hasn't Gmail always had an antivirus service? Because whenever I try to send or receive .EXE extension files, it says couldn't send or this file is potentially unsafe? But if not, then this would be a good step for Gmail and Google. More people will start to trust it and might start using it over other email clients such as Yahoo or Hotmail. I don't think I agree with you nightfox. Gmail is just doing what other email clients are or should be doing. By being "way over protective" they are doing their job and helping out more people. But I do agree with you on this nightfox. I hate it that I can't send or receive these type of files. It's not just these extensions. Gmail also can't send or receive database that have been made by Microsoft Access, i'm not sure why though. I agree that they should be scanned, because in the end it's up to the user to decide whether or not to download the files.

Xbox 360 Glitches glitches is an understatement
Shadow X replied to Shooting Star Haven's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Even if the Microsoft X-box 360 has a few glitches and faults, I would still buy it all the same. Surely the problems wouldn't stop the console from functioning perfectly would it? And i'm sure that Microsoft is doing their best to fix this.I still haven't played it...has it come out in the United Kingdom yet? And if it hasn't, when does it come out? By the way...if you need help with fixing the problems then just visit the Microsoft support pages for information. -
Naruto: Narutimate Hero 3 anyone like naruto here?
Shadow X replied to iGuest's topic in Computer Gaming
I agree with both of you, Bleach definetly owns over Naruto any day! I don't know any Bleach games though for consoles. But I love watching both the Naruto and Bleach anime episodes. I also think Chidori is better than Rasengan. Those screenshots look well safe! I don't have PSP either Mizuki San. if I did, i would definetly buy it just to play the game! By the way, what consoles are Naruto: Narutimate Hero 3 compatible with? -
I love poker as well! I like playng it with my family the most because even if one of us loses we're not giving away anything! Do any of you play poker while betting with real money? With my familly I, we bet with fake plastic chips. I don't really feel comfortable playing with realy money, especially with my friends.

I sometimes take part in forum based RPGs. But the problem is that it's not really reliable. I mean, say like your writing out a post, while you're doing this, someone might have written the same post. Also you never really know what the storyline is because it changes all the time. However, it can be quite fun if you like to interact with people. Also if it's a solo game where everyone has it's own part, then that's good because there's no way that anyone can interfere.Personally I prefer to play on RPG Inferno (this is a forum game that's intergrated with the forum) because it's not text based and you're not playing against anyone else.

XBox 360 Released Today! The first 3rd generation Console
Shadow X replied to plot's topic in Computer Gaming
I know! I've already posted this topic on my website and it seems to be worth the price and wait. Okay, the price is a bit too much for a console but i'm willing to pay that much if all the features are as good as Microsoft makes them out to be.The things i'm most looking forward to are probably the game Halo 3 and the awesome speed and graphics of the console itself! -
Sudoku is the most amazing strategic game I have ever played! If any of you people want to try it out then but "The Times" newspaper which has 2 ordinary puzzles and 1 killer puzzle in the weekdays, and Samurai Sudoku on Saturday. For the ordinary Sudoku puzzles, they are really easy once you get used to them. The trick is to not get frustrated and use logic and not maths to solve them! :)For Samurai Sudoku (5 ordinary puzzles joined together), they are quite hard at first but when you get used to it, you can begin to see patterns and tricks to solving them. Again logic is used.As for the latest Killer Sudoku, these require some math as they involve simple additions and calculations but again you need to use logic as well to solve it.

Anyone Miss The Old Super Nintendo And Sega Games
Shadow X replied to CroSpartacus's topic in Computer Gaming
Of course I miss Nintendo and Sega's old creations! If they were still around nowadays, I would really consider getting the Nintendo 64 or the Sega Genesis because the games are awesome. I played the emulator versions of them and the games are amazing plus the graphics are good.I do though still have the Sega Dreamcast and despite what people say about it, it as actually really good. My favorite game for Sega Genesis is "Sonic and Knuckles", my favorite game for Sega Dreamcast is "Sonic Adventure" and my favorite game for Nintendo 64 is "Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2" and "Pokemon Snap". -
I know, I agree with you bts. Another bad thing is that it's really easy to buy fortifiactions and seige technology. And it's not really neccessary to train your men because your weapons are good enough!I don't think that there should be a bank however because what I always used to do was to store all my money in the bank and then withdraw it all at once and then spend it. This makes the game so much easier since no-one can steal the money in your bank. But now however, it's just becoming like all the other MMORPG games because there are more similarities. The only unique thing is probably that each player has levels they can increase.

I also agree 100% with sparx! Internet Explorer caused me many problems and frozen screens but when I got Mozilla Firefox, everything was running more smoother. I also think that the Internet Explorer layout looks nothing compared to Mozilla Firefox's, if I were you guys I wouldn't go near Internet Explorer are all!

How Do I Get My Site The First Page On Google?
Shadow X replied to webdesignunlimited's topic in Search Engines
No, Google doesn't look over meta tags. If you want to make your site have a good Google rank, then you should have a good meta tag and meta key words. However, keep your meta tags with as few words as possible because otherwise it will come out with lots of other sites as well if they have the same words as you. -
Personally, I would strongly recommend buying a laptop rather than a desktop. Laptops are more versatile, there general look is cleaner and the best thing is that they are portable. Also some laptops come with Intel Centrino (lets you have a wireless internet connection without the need for extra wires or connection cards) which I have found useful in the past. However, if you buy a laptop, I strongly recommend you getting a mouse because the roller isn't that effective. Also, since laptops can't be ina fixed position, they can easily be dropped or damaged.I hope this helps, but I really think you should get a laptop.

Internet Pilfering Into Every Aspect Of Our Lives
Shadow X replied to iGuest's topic in Science and Technology
Wow! This is really interesting. As time goes on, technology advances as well but to be able to do what the Japanese have just done would be really amazing. When I first read the title, I though that it was Bill Gates' doing but now I know that he isn't the only one to invent things!
