What Would You Want? In a TV simulation game
lonebyrd replied to lonebyrd's topic in Computer Gaming
it isn't mixing tv it is a strictly game only thing. it won't be watching tv shows it will be making them in a text based world. It would be done with PHP and XHTML, mostly. -
Any Free Trojan Removal Programs?
lonebyrd replied to lonebyrd's topic in Security issues & Exploits
I have ad-aware aniversary edition and spybot S&D, I was just looking for something specifically for trojans. They are a pain in the butt. -
My computer is massively infected with trojans and i can't find the disks to wipe the drive clean and reinstall everything. (I got this computer from a friend once mine broke but it was infected). I don't know where he put the disks to reinstall. I've done a system recovery but no use. Are there any free trojan removal programs out there that will get rid of these darn trojans for me?

It doesn't matter how I die really as long as it's not drawn out and completely painful. I watched my grandmother die of cancer (literally at her bedside when it happened). She died in her sleep, which would be the best way to go, but she suffered for months before. What good is it to die in your sleep if you suffer before hand?

I would have to say NARC was an awful game. Constantly going around asking if they wanted drugs. It was really annoying to hear the same thing over and over again. Rogue Ops sucked too for that matter.

I want to use PHP in my website but do I have to have a special program to run php on my computer. I know there was Apache for something but for the life of me I cant remember what that was for. If I need Apache, can someone tell me how to install it. I had a hard time doing it on my last computer and don't know what I did wrong.

i love these ideas. I've been looking for a new meditation but never concentrated on pulse before. Can't wait to try it later! -

I didn't honestly think about the point that if it was a strictly pc store people are comfrotable buying things online. I think I need to do some more thinking about what exactly would work

I think maybe when he says 'the best and the brightest' he means of the nations military currently, not America as a whole.

I did a system recovery and after it did it's thing it got stuck on the windows loading screen. Is this normal? I'm running windows XP. My computer was acting up so i did a recovery because it wouldn't do anything. After doing the recovery the first time, I tried to install SP2 but then it wouldn't load on reboot. So I did a second recovery and it's stuck. Any ideas?Nevermind, I got it going now. Hopefully it stays working now. No SP2 for this computer!

If You Get A Collections Call Whom Do You Deal With?
lonebyrd replied to chakri's topic in General Discussion
I get the information from the debt collection agency and make sure I know who the debt was originally from. Then from there I contact the person from where the debt is supposedly from. They will verify everything. I've had this happen before. Also, when you first get a letter from a debt collection agency, they will ask you if you want to dispute the debt if you don't think it is correct. That is another way to go about it. -
What Would You Want? In a TV simulation game
lonebyrd replied to lonebyrd's topic in Computer Gaming
The main thing about making this game is to come up with your own tv shows, write them out with weekly plots. Casting, directors, production all come into consideration. If anyone has played anything like Project Rockstar or Fantasy film maker, you would know kinda what i'm aiming for. -
Are any of these that have been talked about free? I've been using one called Video Spin for a little bit but don't know if I like it any better than windows movie maker. Those are the free ones I've found. Granted, I only use it for You Tube but I want something decent for an editor. These are pretty basic. I'm sure the ones mentioned before must cost some bucks because they sound good. You can't get anything good for free these days.

But there must be a way for them to regain a place in society. In the US if they aren't working they can get state assistance. That isn't helping them or us as a general population. There must be some places that will hire someone who has been convicted of a crime, but it all depends on circumstances. No I wouldn't hire a robber to work in a bank, and thinking about it I can understand why people conviceted of robbery cant get a job. Who is to say they won't steal from your company. But maybe working as a landscaper with a company, working with only the outdoors and fellow coworkers, that could work. You can't make a blanket statement about everyone who has been convicted. Everyone has different circumstances. A young adult gets convicted of a crime lets say. They were young and not mature. Maybe prison could have drastically changed that persons life. The crime isn't the only thing that should come into factor. It is the individual.

That is totally AWESOME!! I didn't like the idea of guitar here Aerosmith but this is just great news. Metallica has some massively hard songs. THis would be a great game. I want a 360 now so bad I can almost taste it!

I have an idea of opening a PC game only store. Around where I live we have mixed stores with xbox, playstation, nintendo, and PC games. But there is such a variety of PC games that you cant get unless you go online. I am so tired of looking for a game at a local store only to find that they only have Warcraft or the Sims. I mean really what about all the other games out there.I was also toying with the idea of having a 'gaming arena' where teams of 4 can put up an entry fee and play other teams for prize money. What do people think of that idea?

I like the season the way it is. Heck, they are in the majors, why cant they stick it out in the cold. Too many hot day double headers could be detremental to a persons health. And just as a side note, I also believe football should be longer seasons too. How can that amount of games accuratly judge a teams proformance?

Ok there were some valid points made. It does depend on the job and the crime. But I have a question to pose to people. How long is long enough after someone has been released? Right out of prison I know around where I live there are places to help felons become employed. But i do believe there has to be some sort of trust in hiring a felon. What was their crime? How did they do in prison (like fights, following rules)? Do they have good non-felon references? There are alot of factors that would go into it looking from an employers point of view. How much do they really get to know about the persons background is my question

New Firefox Window Popups And i didnt make it do that
lonebyrd replied to lonebyrd's topic in Security issues & Exploits
This may sound like a stupid question but here goes. How do I find and manually delete a trojan? Basically I don't know where it is, How do i find that out. Secondly, is there just a delete function when I find it?
