i don't think it will physically damaged the pc but might shorten the life of it a bit but i know of alot of pc that are left on 24/7 almost all hte time. i know it will definately make the bill much higher than it should be to just leave the pc running all day long instead of switching off when you don't need it but it will also need to be restarted a few times every now and then there is no exacvt time interval for this but you will know when because the pc will start running very slowly and nothing will work properly. this will more likely than not be from memory leaks windows xp is better with this but it still does when pc are left to run for long periods of time without being restarted at all. you will probally find that other platforms will do better with this but generally every now and then every pc will need to be rebooted to help keep the pc running at optimum but i would think it is just generally better to switch pc off if you will not be using it alll the time it might help it last longer and save you some money in the long run. But from a general stand point there should be no reason why new pc can't stand being left on 24 hours a day as they are very advanced and well designed.

it is pretty straight forward first you need to go and find a program to do this and then download it. most of the programs are free and the ones that arn't are demos foe a certain period of time. so it should be quite easy to find one that wil lsuit your need just go to google and search for make animated gifs or make animated picture or something like that and you should find a few programs to do this type of thing ! normally these programs will take any picture format so you just go and find the pictures you want to animate and put it into the program and then create it and then it is all done you have an animated picture to look at or use or do anything with It is that easy there are no hard things or catches

i just think it is to much effort to go and put stuff on the net and anyway in our country bandwidth is expensive and to have a decent line that would make it worth while to put big amounts of data on the net would cost a pretty penny as these isp's all have ridiculous caps like a 3 gb cap on a 512k line i mean come on i will reach that in a day or two, so going and buying a 250 gb hard drive would more likely than not work out a lot cheaper after a few months !! And then it would be holding way more data and like someone else said it would be much more secure where as on the the net something may happen and there goes all your data you put. And on the hard drive the info is there whenever you need it you won't have to first go and download it off the net before you can use it !!

i caan only say one thing about the petrol prices at the moment but if i say that here i will get warned or something so i will leave to your imagination to think of. But it is just crazy how these prices are just shooting up higher and higher. I used to pay less than half the prices for a tank of petrol and that was about 2 or 3 years ago only !!

the one thing i never understood and never will is how all the political leaders of these dumb countries can just say ok this is the problem and we need to do something .........................................and then ok it is not getting solved so the only way to fic it is go to war ???? So here are all these "leaders" saying we have to go to war but they never even step int othe country that they are at war at and if they do they are so heavily protected and stuff like that but all the ppl who live i nthe country have t oigo and fight each other when the yacutually have nothing against each other. Maybe instead of all these people who are fighting each other with no real reason should just lay down their weapons and let the bright sparks who came up the lets go to war thing to go and fight each other it would save alot of lives and the ppl who are acutually saying that they need to go to war can go fight for a change !!!!!! It is very easy for these oaks to say lets go to war when they sit in their comfy offices and have their whole bunch of body gaurds of the s*** hit the fan. If they had to get involed in their own decisions i gaureentee you that these "leaders" would not be so eager to go to war for some little thing.

just go to google and search for something like mp3 to wma or coverting mp3 to wma or software to convert mp3 to wma. personally i don't know why you would want to change i prefer mp3 to wma format i know there is not much diffrences in the size of them but what is the point of having wma which can only play on windows media player. You shouls rather leave them as mp3's it will be alot more versatile than going and changing them to wma but of course it might just be for something that doesn't use another format. But generally if you have mp3's that yuo listen to on your pc i would not changr those to mp3 it is just not nearly as practical as mp3's.

being action games i don't think al lthose stradegy games should be on that list F.E.A.R. , Battlefield 2 , Call of Duty 2 , Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas i would make this my top 4 from that list given at top and would also add need for speed : underground 2 onto the list maybe in second above battlefield and in order shown above !!

I think something like that would really make this cool because you do not always feel like coming on to the forum to write stuff for the forum so that your credits don't runout. sometimes you just don't have the time either. So if they did something like that so you could boost your credits without having to come and talk on the forum I also think that something that would be coo lto implement her would be to have it that if you start a topic and that topic does well say for every 20 replys from diffrent people you will get more credits when you do participate on the forum. I know the way they do it so that ppl do participate in the forum. So this way if you don't participate then theses extra credits will not appear but you just have a bit of input and you will get more credits than normal ! would be a really cool thing to implement to this trap 17 forum.

I would just like to hear from anyone who has used google adsense if they have made any good money while using G.A. And if you did have luck what sort of website content do you have on your website ?? i'm interested to sart a site and sign up for google adsense but i not tooo sure what type of site to build so i just wanted to get a better idea before i go to work on this !

the bottom line is that when it comes to energy it is really hard to create energy with out some form of machine or technology to do it. so that means that even if you get something that would create great amounts of energy or something like that is that somewhere along the line it will cost alot to buy or build this machine !! So if you really look at it it might be a effective way to get energy but the cost to acutally make or build this equipment will always be subtabsile and therefore making that energy not "free" in the true sense of the word and the way people are talking about !

i'm sorry to say i hate country music it just that whole really anniying tune they all have , to me this tune almost sounds the same in every sigle country song so that is the first thing that really gets to me the other being that the singer usaually has a really irratating voice it seems to be a prerequiste to be a country singer. that is just my view on the whole country scene but if guys like that go for it and listen to it i'm sure there are alot of guys that would not like what i listen to either so it is up to the person listening to the music depending on what type of music they will listen to !!

i don't know that is the whole reason i think there might be other universes just because we don't have the capability to go check doesn't mean that it is not there. I think that is even more reason to suupect that there are other universes because we can't go and see it could quite easily be that there are other universes out there. But it would be so cool if we could go and check and see if there are or are not. But then you could laso look at it int he other way that there can't be another universe because if our universes is infinate then that means it goes on for ever and then there could not be another universe beyond ours if that is the case. I suppose it depends just how your point of view is to what you will think about this topic but i still leaning towards the possiblity that there are other universes !!

i would choose one of two phones to use it would be either: nokia because it is really easy to use and everything is straight forward sony ericsson because it has some really cool features and things

i don't know about a god it is just the earth trying to "heal" itself when it comes to the natural sort of disaters because of the size of the population and the way we are draining everything out of the earth. !! As far as the dieseases and epidemics and stuff like that are just from the lack of common sense and also the medical side of all the countries can't handle the size of population. and because of that the people who get sick and remain untreated and this make these dieseses so bad until they become these super viruses that can't be stop. And as for aids that is just from complete stupidity.!!

So if this is such a generalization i think this person should give us a list that she thinks is more acurate if not to all girls, just to herself it is always interesting to hear about stuff like this from girls rather than other guys who think they know about girls when in reality they don't really know much !!

the first pc i had was a xt and then a 286. these were really cutting edge when we first got them but of course a few months later a new one came out although at the time quite a big leap now it would be laughed at as literally every week they are improving on technology !! These old pc really help as they were the first pc i messed around with and the ones that i used to learn my way around a pc so in that respect it helped alot . i thought those were old till i saw the ones in the first post wow those should be in a special holding contain to prevent them disintergrating as they are so old

there would be a few things i would look at first. If you have the cash to buy a decent laptop that will work for what you want then just go buy a new one. But considering you are wondering about it i would guess you might not want to use the cash on that so then it would be better and cheaper to just upgrade the memory but upgrade it properly if you can get two 1 meg chips do that it will make a big difference but that is if you just want a bit more speed with the stuff you are using already that is not working too badly. But if like you said it is battleing to run games and or other apps i would check if your laptop has a abiltiy to upgrade the video card, i would guess not as that is what would be giving you the most hassle with games especially. then it would make more sense to spend a bit of cash and buy a really good laptop that has a good video card and processor that will work for the next few years before you need to upgrade again. But at the end of the day it is what you want youe laptop to be able to do, look at what you need or want out of your laptop and then decide what you going to do if you just want it to run more efficiently then go the upgrade mem root but if it is just battling way to much with everything then buy a nice new one with all the bells and whistles !

i don't think these days you can say everyone who is on the computer is addicted to it. i know i use it alot but it is because i doing computer science at varsity and i do enjoy some games now and then but i don't play them for 20 hours a day or anything crazy like that. I know that most of the time i'm just making use of the computer because it is easier to use than another method. I watch alot of programs on the computer because have have them in avi format and i don't have cables to take the video and audio to my tv !! so i just waatch it on the computer. I also use it to listen to music as i don't have a mp3 player so i just use ther computer and i will also use it alot to cut cd weather it be data for other people or music for my car or something. If you are going to say that someone that is on the computer alot is addicted to it then you will have to say that everyone is addicted to tv as most people watch way more tv than anything else, so does that mean they are addicted to tv, the main reason people are on computers so much nowdays is because you can do everything you want on the computer you can even watch tv if you want !!

it is quite a good buy when it comes to price but from the specs you gave it will not be easy to find parts to upgrade espicially the processor if you do you will more likely than not have to buy second hand or end up paying alot more than some better processors because of how old it is.

well if you think about it most advertisements are flase advertising. Have you ever seen a advert saying something only works so so or even no our product doesn't work at all. Yet i'm sure you have bought a few things that have been advertised how many have worked as well as they have said ?? not many i'm guessing and how many have work ok but not great a slightly bigger group i recon but the biggest group of things that have been advertised probally don't work at all to put it nicely !! But to be completely honest if a advert said come get our product it might work for you and probally won't do as much as you want would you go out and buy it ??? therefore most advertising is false or only tells you the good parts or results of the product and nothing else.Not to say that all stuff advertised doesn't do want they say but i do believe that atleast 50 percent of these products don't !!!

the main reason why guys rape women on such a big scale is because of the way you thinking. did this person have choice in weather they were going to get rape or not ?? NO they didn't they were just brutally raped for no other reason than some sexually frustrated oak could get someone to sleep with him or whatever. So now you say how can someone choose wheather they live or die. As far as i'm concerned the minute they even thought about that they don't deserve to have a choice anymore. Maybe they only did it to one person but where does end then. Where do you draw the line at two or three or twenty. I don't know about your countries and stuff but in my country most guys drive well but then you get the exceptions. One would be the dumb mini bus taxi drivers who just generally make it there mission to cause as many accidents as they can whenever they on the raod. Somehow these oaks think they own the roads and they pretty much carry on like this all the time and god help you if you hoot at them or something when they do something stupid infront of you. If you lucky all you get is some finger signals or foul language. But when you do something that they do all the time then like it all your fault and carry on like they have never done that. But they have probally done it to about 50 people while they were on the road that day. Dumb morons. And then you get the expensive german car syndrome. Which apprently also means you can do what ever you want and drive as badly as you want. But the best part of all this is how the traffic cops who should be controlling these type of things, are to busy sitting on their a**es behind some speed trap, fining the people who are abeying the rules of the road and not driving dangerously, but going 10 km/h over the speed limit when the road is empty. because they are too lazy to acutally do some work and pull over all these unroad worthy taxis who's car is falling apart and more likely than not has no brakes, pieces of bodywork falling off and just a general danger for everyone else on the road. But speed trapping will really make our roads safer. I'm mean fine if you want to trap do it but to the guys who are apeeding and weaving in and out of traffic. or guys doing 240 km/h on a 60 road which is clearly reacklace. But at the same time acutually enforce some rules of the road.
