lol, i think that Xisto's hosting is superior over many free hosting sites, it is rare that you find a free host, that offers up-to-date Cpanel, no ads, and as much support as this place does, not to mention the uptime compared to others... do you really think Xisto needs more things to offer? lol but it is a good ideal even if domains are only 5.99

\ i believe that you live in the UK yes? if so, that must be a law over there, becaus ehere in america the age is 13. If a child under the age of thirteen gives up information to a website, and somthing were to happen then the webmaster would get in trouble unless there was a form called the COPPA forum filled out and signed with the parent with all of the information needed, or if you can prove that the child signed up under a false birthday so he was over 13 years of age just wanted to clairafy that because it is not illegal for teens over 13 to give out information like that, the parents may not like but its not illegal. silly me, at the end of the post i am adding when you say (aren't) i am guessing you mean its illegal.

Although the origional person who wrote this has not been descovered, everything that is said in this essay is completley real and the truth! I think that despite how many people that think we should move out of iraq, this could make a differense in some of their minds, i know it changed mine completley. Before i read this, i said GREAT another junk e-mail about the war in iraq, but when i finished it, i said to myself oh my god that is totaly true, i dont want my home country to be looked down upon as if we are pesants pleading for our life to the muslims who want everyone besides them dead. So give this a read, it is quite long, but it is well worth it.

Making The Files In File Manager Invisible
Albus Dumbledore replied to Albus Dumbledore's topic in Web Hosting Support
lol, editing the script, haha thats funny, but maybe i could try it sometime, if there isn't a way to clear those files. thanx everyone for your help -
yes, if they have no ideal what they want to do, stick them with the normal requirements of todays age @ rvalkass thats great their doing it in the UK now get them to do it in the US!! lmao but yes, that was a reason i ment to post, if the kids are taking subjects they like, then they are less likely to get in trouble, meaning less disiplinary actions which means administrators and everyone else can focus on making sure that this system works one way or another anywho, thanks for all your feedback

i was wondering if there was a way, any way in the world, to make the files that were allready in the file manager when we first signed up meaning these dissaper.... because on my site, we made a sitemap (http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/) and it shows those folders, and to make it less cluttered we want to get rid of them, or make them invisible to the public.. is this possible? Notice from truefusion: Topic closed as requested

it is a required subject now adays too... only two years though, and thank god because they dont have many things to choose from to do... and yeah, education here has definatly gone down hill since you went there....`

Its been quite a while since ive made a vent in here, so im going at it again >_<i am helpping my grandma at my old Jr High School, she works there and is the registrar who registers people. so she has access to the school informational database as well as the districts informational databse, which means i can get into my schools information and look up my schedule before anyone else gets to see it but my counselor so today i decided to look up my schedule... and was a bit dissapointedat the beginning of the year, the counselors came around with paper where you checked boxed on the classes you wanted to take and if you wanted to sign up for any special academic programs or anything like that, so i filled out the paper, and checked that i wanted to join the Buisness Academy which is somthing to get you prepared for life etc... i also wanted AP classes (Advanced Placement) and Honors Classes.well when i looked at my schedule, i had average classes, and i was like, umm no.... i signed up for honors ap and business acadamy i should be in the highest classes of them all... i mean comeon, Just take a look at my grades and you should know i want to excell at a faster rate with more difficulty, with a 4.0 GPA and all....the whole point is, what is the point of going around and having the students pick which classes they want to take and chooosing which academic programs they want to be in, when you dont even put them in them! argh!!so now i am going to have to go and talk with my counselor, wait 30 minutes for her to re-arrange the schedules of me and other people so i can fit in the class i origionally signed up for so its just a bit agrivating!!
-
ok, well i got this ideal when i saw my schedule and was dissapointed because of my classesan ideal of mine is an ideal for a better school than what it is now..my ideal, is to have schools, where the students pick which classes they want. not just for fun, but for becoming what they want to become for the rest of their life.me for example, i want to becoime a forensic scientist, which would require extensive science, and a fair bit of math, and english so for me, i would choose a math class, as well as a science class as well as an english class, and with those classes, instead of taking some stupid and pointless class like PE there would be advanced math for the subject i am in, advanced science, and advanced english which will go deeper than the normal class will... so i would end up with 2 hours of each subject.....to me, this is a good ideal.. because since they are subjects i like, i am more prone to paying attention than i would be if i were to be in a PE class, or a spanish class.there has been a study done, US wide that has proved that girls learn better than boys do, this is because girls can sit for an hour or so and listen to the pointless talk of the teacher in the subjects they may not like, where boys will sit there and ignore the teacher because the subject is not in their intrests, and fall asleep or talk and get in trouble... and if a plan like this were to be put into action, then people could pick the classes tha they want to take and pay attention and learn the things..... although i think this is a perfect ideal, there are many flaws... like but what if they dont want to learn somthing that is necissary for daily lives, like math... and the answer in my opinion is simple, teach them more stuff earlyer instead of streching it out... get them into algebra 2 by the 8th grade, and if they arent to algebra 2 in the 8th greade then they forfiet the option to choose their classes in high school.. i mean, the only thing you can take after algebra 2 is calculus, triganometry, and those are most definatly not things that you need to live a normal and happy life... so screw them.. leave it to the people who actually want to learn that crap.im sure some of you will be posting, wow what a stupid ideal this would never work... well i dont give a rats *bottom* if you think its a stupid ideal, i think its a good one and decided to post it

Help With Color Choosing
Albus Dumbledore replied to Albus Dumbledore's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
when i put his color code in it, I could tell the differense ebtween the navigation background and the poll background.. >_< -
ok, well i got a new laptop...and it havent gotten the CD back from my friend for Photoshop, so i asked a friend of mine if he could take a screenshot of my site, and get the color of the right side navigation menu, when i say color i mean the hex code.... he said "oh i have a program that will do that" so he did it, and his program got #201820, so i took that hex code, and applied it to the poll that i have, so it will be set as the polls background color so it blends with the navigation menu... well that didn't work, i got somthing completley different than the color of the navigation menu, so i went to my old computer booted up photoshop and did it myself and got #18181A ... here is a comparison side by side Please tell me..... do these not look different..... and if anyone is bored enough, http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and want to see which one is right, go ahead and check

lol, i just got back from a vacation three weeks long so you will see a few posts in the vent..ok, well as i said above, i have been on a vacation for the past 3 weeks.... two and three fourths (2 3/4 ) of the trip was spent with a kid.. 10 years old... lol he took a shower eevry other day... and every time he did, i timed him...because when he took his first shower i said man could that have been any shorter! and he said no... ohh but he could take a shorter shower... i timed him every time!!i wont tell you all of the times, but lets just say the second shower he took was less than two minutes....my jaw droped... i said to my grandma there aint no way in hell that this boy can thoroughly wash all of his body and wash off all of the junk from two days of playing in sand and on rocks... not to mention wash the hair he has...*sigh* when he gets into high school and Jr. High school he is going to be nagged on because he stinks... no one could bar to sit next to him when ever we went somewhere..... so we folded up the back row of seats and gave them all to him... lol ok im done

Ok, i wil admit, i do like some country music...... i can listen to maybe one song in a month... then im tired of it lmao, but this last trip that i took..the trip was 3 weeks long, we were traveling a total of 8 days 7 hours a day...and the only thing my grandma put on the bloody radio was COUNTRY omg i was going nuts!!!!! finally after the first day, i stayed up late and woke up early so i could fall asleep in the car while my grandma playes her music. i was so relieved when we got into resturants they were playing actual music! and my grandma had no controll over what music was played in the resturants!! so i was soo happy... and then we got to her sons house, basicly an uncle to me.... and he is in a band a rock band, and man was i relieved....my uncle has an xbox and you can load music into it and play the music as background music instead of a games sound effects, so we loaded some of the music he likes and played Star Wars battlefront two... lol i would not leave the room where the music was i was relieved....then on the way home, she stumbled across an ooldies station.. omy goodness music from the 40's and 50's sheesh.. then she poped in her Josh TUrner CD and played it 4 times over...so you could say i am a bit tired of country music.. i am stalked up for the rest of my life with it....*puts headphones back on and bobs head to KoRn*
