Your Favorite Actors and a very interesting poll
Mich replied to Ajant's topic in General Discussion
I too am a Dustin Hoffman fan from out of this group. However, Jack Nicholson runs a close second in my book. You missed Richard Dreyfuss as far as I am concerned. Maybe he is not all as "popular" as those mentioned, but certainly an accomplished actor in his own right. And then again there is Sidney Portier as well. -
Brett Favre Traded To The New York Jet's
Mich replied to Saint_Michael's topic in General Discussion
Well, I just hope that he doesn't go the way of Joe Montana. Joe should have retired instead of going over to the Chiefs. But, some guys just love football soooo much that they can't do without it. Is it time for Brett to retire as well? After all, the human body can only take just so much abuse. -
Hello you two and welcome to Trap 17 from Mich in Michigan, USA. You two sound like a very interesting couple. I have no doubt that you will add character to our site. Little old me has been here for 2 1/2 years and not contributed a whole lot to speak of. I have a simple graphics site hosted here offering free web sets for people who don't know a lot about building such things. The beginners seem to love my work. (I have caught some criticism from the more advanced site builders.) I feel there is still a need for work such as mine and have been swamped with special requests from people just starting to build sites for their own personal use. However, blogging seems to predict the eventual end to single personal sites. But, that remains to be seen. Your work sounds awesome. I hope you both stay with us forever.

They offer so much for free. See you around the boards.

Hello Marvin and welcome to Trap 17 from Mich in Michigan, USA. Where are you? Bluebear has filled you in on things, so I won't be redundant. You have come to the right place for free no-ads hosting. I have been here 2 1/2 years, and things are awesome. There are a lot of things offered in the packages that I don't even use or understand, but others seem to be absolutely amazed at all the free stuff available. How does Trap 17 do it??? People here are all friendly and helpful. If you have a question, just ask. Somebody will either answer you or point you to the answer. The forums are plentiful and varied, so you should have no problem finding somewhere to post. I came here for the graphics expertise as well. Have learned a lot since arriving; thanks to all the graphics nuts that have come to my rescue. You can use the links just above my sig to learn all about Trap 17 if you need further information. I have stumbled on an interesting site displaying the art of David Mark. He uses some beautiful colors and unusual techniques. I do not use Photoshop and don't know much about brushes, but from the examples I have seen of them, I think maybe this artist's work could be used for brushes. Take a look and see what you think. Please post a link to your site so we can get a first hand idea of what your site is all about. We will be able to help you better if we can see what you are dealing with. I use thumbnail links to wallpapers on my site, but I construct my own pages from scratch. We need to know just how much control you have over the site construction. BTW: Hurray, this is my 1,100th post.

Hello Leo aka:onscreen and welcome to Trap 17 from Mich in Michigan, USA. Very nice intro. Sounds like you will be a fine addition to our community here at Trap 17. I am an artist of sorts as I design graphics for people to use on their web sites. I am also a very amatuer photographer. Seems I figure out how my camera does certain things, don't do it again for a while, and promply forget what it was that I taught myself. You have already been versed on reading up on things around here. Just in case you missed something, you can use the links just above my sig.

UUgghh!!!!. Don't they have local health departments in Australia? You should report this place at once. In USA we have the option of reporting such things to our local department, and they inspect things post-haste. One of the local restaurants here was closed down because of a "too" dirty restroom. Why, because in the long run it affected the cleanliness of the food servers and preparers. It was the ony facility on the premises. This place you have described would be closed down immediately using our health standards. Please do take action. This place needs closing down.

Where Is There A Good Site To Learn Web Html?
Mich replied to Hayabusa123's topic in Websites and Web Designing
For the absolute beginner I find that this site, although it is originally meant for children, is the place I send people when they ask me about "learning html". Lisa Explains It is very simplistic, but easy to understand for those who know "nothng" about html. Once one has grasped the basics from this site, they can move on to more advanced lesson sites. -
Just thought I would add some more to the statistics. This debate will be raised again and again, but then some who came here legally are getting hurt as well. It is not just those who are born here that are suffering the onslaught.

Hello Imtay22 and welcome back to Trap 17 from Mich in Michigan, USA. Remember Me? Things have changed a little while you were gone. Trap has changed the data base for one. You will probably read all about it while you are catching up on things. The SOTW seems to have gotten lost. I do hope it is rekindled soon. There are always siggers, gamers and graphx people here. Oh, yeh, and progammers. I am not into the tech stuff even yet. OpaQue and BuffaloHelp are always around, although they have been very busy lately. Then of course there is SaintMichael, jlhaslip, Kubi, Plenoptic and many others who seem to have been here forever. Look forward to catching up on your posts. Welcome back again.
