  1. If you like optical illusions you should try this video: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ The effect is really cool
  2. I'm also playing Battlefield 2 since it came out, it's over a year now. I'm looking foward for Patch 1.4 that should come this week and which will hopefully fix those disturbing servers chrashes. And of course I can't wait to play this new map (Road to Jala[...]
  3. Thanks for this tutorial I didn't know that making a wap page is so easy, I certainly should make a try. A personal wap page, I think this would be a good way to access everything you need wherever you are...
  4. Thanks for this nice tutorial I'm currently thinking of doing something like this, because I get much traffic from hotlinked pictures. There are no disadvantages, or?
  5. When I read the thread title, I thought immediately of...grilled cheese and tomato soup! But other meals I love are: tuna quiche (we alwasy have it with olives on the side... ) stuffed tomatoes burritos (with beans and cheese and tomatoes and avocado and stuff)manicotti
  6. I've got an Video iPod and I know how to encode the videos fpr watching on the iPod. But it's not fun to watch a whole movie on this little thing, the display ist to small and the battery will maybe last for one and a half hour if you are lucky... But little video clips are okay
  7. I would like to visit all the countries far from Europe, like Australia, USA, Japan and Canada, maybe new Zealand. I'm sure I will someday
  8. Depends on the day, sometimes just 5 hours, sometimes 11. But 8 hours are fine
  9. Your Hard Disk makes only a small percentage of the overall perfomance of a game So better think of RAM, GPU and CPU...
  10. Since the World Cup 2006 it is definitely soccer

  12. I think the all time worst movie I've ever seen is the 1991 remake of Night of the Living Dead. I have never seen something as sh*tty as that movie. There wasn't one redeemable aspect to it. The zombies looked like crap, all the actors were B rated at best, it dragged it's **bottom** on every scene, and horrible close ups with the camera work. All around stinker. Hell, it might have at least been entertaining had the actors died in horrible, grisly ways; to make up for thier terrible dialogue, but only 3 of the 10 died, and they died lame deaths, so even that wasn't any fun...
  13. This movie is every bit as good as the first, if not better The old characters are just as you remember them (with some changes in fortune for a couple), the new characters are wonderfully colorful and memorable, and the bad guys are delightfully evil and cunning. I loved the plot, I loved the way it played out. Jokes and snappy one-liners abound, just as witty as in the first. And, once again, Captain Jack Sparrow has one of the best introductions in movie history. The special effects were very good and everything looked realistic. The sword work was excellent, the fights both suspenseful and entertaining. And, there's a wonderful surprise at the end. If you want a movie that will make you think, this isn't really it. But, if you want a fun, entertaining movie that will take you away from reality for a little while, this is definitely the one for you. It's a great ride, and great fun
  14. No, they definitely won't do that. But they also offer a bank wire payment, beside checks.
  15. I used GIMP for some time and liked it, but when compared to professional image editing programs, it's only okay. The new version is more stable than past versions I've worked with. For simple image editing, it gets the job done with straight-forward recognizable tools and good compatability with multiple formats. Essential capabilities such as masking and working in layers are present. There's also a pretty good array of filters. But the tools availabe are inadequate for doing advanced modification of an image or creation of an image from scratch. I pretty consistently find that there's something I want to do, but there's no easy way to do it. The array of selection tools leaves something to be desired (for example, I haven't found a polygon selection tool). The Gimp can be a bit gimpy from time to time
