At first, I quickly thought the second one was better because the colours were deeper, but then I looked again, and I realized that it looks more real in the first one. The first one would look way better if the words weren't there as too 'out' there. The font colour just kills it... how about trying something similar to the whole sig.. like light yellow; just nothing that stands out too much from the two streetfighters. But good job, looks very nice!

I had the same thought. I first got drawn to the second one but when I looked closer the first one seemed more 'matching' and the cold colours go well. The second bright warm colours do not compliment the backgound that well. It looks seperated.

haha @ parents putting them in the house..omg that woul dbe creepy...as a kid i always thought they had cameras eevrywhere spying one me but i think its cool they can come up with things this small, but im sure that there is acculy smaller camera's out there that are for military etc use only..and these are the OLD versions now being allowed to go public..but thats my opinion, and with how small it is i dont imagine the picture quality will be tooo decent.. i would buy one though :-D

haha.. Funny thing is...I CONSTANTLY THINK that there are cameras around me... at home mainly but also I feel my mum follows me when I go out and is spying on me! But that's just being paranoid.. and this new technology is not a good sign..

It's not just internet dating now.. it's the "lies". People tend to lie about who they are and what they look like and taking pictures of google sending it to you and stuff. It's cool that you can be who you want on the internet but it's a bit mean to the person your lying to..

When I mean internet dating.. I mean as in just online.. and not meeting... I mean it's like that on cokemusic. It's sort of sad. People like just go 'looking for a girlfriend' there.

I didn't say you can't make friends online.. I didn't say you can't date online either. I'm just saying I don't like it. I don't mind having friends online because it gets you sort of socialising with people from around the world and stuff and I have online friends.. (I think) it's just the whole not meeting someone and dating them thing I'm not too keen about.

Match.com is ok. As those are people who are probably going to meet and start dating in real life.

I don't know if some people are blind or something (not trying to be mean) but total red layout badly does not go with the blue header image. Who ever said change the red banner to a blue one ... um I take it you're probably a guy. That blue does not match the layout!!! I'm no pro but I can say it looks odd

After school me and some people stayed to finish off some ICT stuff and started to muck about near the end. It got to 4:30 and the teacher chucked us out. We were walking out of school and we passed the sports hall, looked in and I said "eww minger" at one of the men playing football. I thought it was sixth formers And it turns out they were all male teachers playing footy. All of the younger , mediumISH built teachers were there playing football. We saw one of our english teachers (who's a total geek, but he's such a sweety) And I couldn't help my self and I started to laugh at him. They opened the door and he got well embarassed most of them stopped playing football and kind of just stood there staring at us all laughing at them!!!They had like t shirts with little shorts on and you could see all their hairy legs and nobbly knees... It was soo funny!!!!My mate said she had nearly all of them as her teachers!! - which makes it even worse...for them!It's kind of weird seeing them doing stuff that isn't related to their subject... weird seeing them have a life other than teaching . I know that's mean but it's what you're use to.I know some of the art teachers go clubbing together and stuff... I think.

Does the girl like you or show you that she likes you? Also, does she like the other kid? If she likes him then back off. I've been in that type of situation. If she doesn't like him and she clearly likes you than you should take it slow because the other kid will have a reason to be mad at you. If she starts showing the other kid that she doesn't like him than he'll probably get the hint on his own and backoff. It's not your problem if she doesn't like him. Don't rub it in his face though. Make sure that he knows your not trying to make him mad but you like the same girl. It's not your fault

What if she doesn't like both of them or if she's leading them both on? Then it'll all end in tears and heartbreaks.

Like what others have said. Ask her who she likes... I mean she can't lead you both on or have you both hanging - it isn't fair. If she can't choose then she's just one of those 'girls'

The image took like a day to make. I was watching T.V whilst doing it, quite fun really . And trying to fix the layout so it worked took another day.

 

I still have the 'unsquashed' file so improvements and suggestions are needed.. I have no idea what happened but imageshack made the imge smaller.. You can see the larger version on my website. Anyways it's called Pop Scene because those were the main words that came to mind when I looked at it. I drew the girl originally for a school poster for breast cancer research and I liked it so I altered it a lot and used it in my layout.

 

I'm not too sure on the background on my computer it's like a moca kind of dark brown/cream.. but I went to school and it went white and hurt my eyes. So sorry if it kills your eyes. latersx

I love my pink barbie car. It's pretty cool - it pulls out into a limo and you can fit TWO extra barbies in it!! very VERY shiny too!It only moves forward and backwards but I'm sure that with a few tweaks it'll be able to turn around corners.

Thank you all for your comments I will take them serioiusly and try different things and experiment. I am planning on web design but I am still not quite the designer yet so I am practicing. I do need to do something with the banner I know but I am not quite sure what yet. I need to think of a way to make a logo and stuff. The only problem with me is I am not the greatest at mixing colors to make them look good

Not trying to sound sexist or anything but most guys are not good at colour mixing etc, so I guess it's not realy your fault, haha.

I think the design looks pretty good considering your young age, haha. The blue and purply blue don't go and it is sometimes better to have a white content box area where the text is seen(or a lighter colour) Because blue is a very strong colour and if you put a white text against it or something it can strain your eyes (well it makes mine go googly)
It's a nice layout but I'm not sure it would suit a 'proper' business. If it's just selling graphics or coding then that would be fine.

Not rating because I don't see the point.I like the first one. The sort of spiral thingies are cool... never knew how people could do them. It's a bit unoriginal though. But still cool...as usual.The second one looks like a piece of poo with face and arms. It's cute. It's sort of like ghetto poo.The third one looks too cramped and the text n the bottom looks like you just cut part of it off and tried to put a border to hide it. I was a loyal user of Nrg.to. a site used to give free web hosting space with no ads and no features. I had a site hosted in nrg.to and worked very hard to improve my site and had done a lot of SEO and listed my site in the top 10 in all popular search engines. But now the nrg.to have sut down their service and deleted all my precious files and hardwork without giving a single notice. I will take reveng of them. If i get the admin of nrg.to then i'll surely completely erase his memories. Arrggh!!!!! i will not hestitate to hack into their servers and delete their complete site. I will surely take revenge.
Another thing, I'll be starting an hosting account in Xisto, please admins here at Xisto, please consider howmuch hardwork we do to make websites and keep them goingon. Please inform us before ur going to delete all accounts. So that we can make backups of our hardwork . Please have mercy on us.....

Um..ok... nrg.to DO bum. It's a german site , so I never got it really.... I made my entire website - it was all finished and pretty and everything. Then suddenly their system when down and all the files were deleted... they didn't even say sorry or email me or anything. It had a post on their website somewhere saying you just got to re make everything... I was sooo freakin' gutted! This was about two years ago though.

It is not wise to hack into their server....and people talking of hacking don't usually know how to. Just leave them - they're bound to go down some day and I bet they have tons of complaints anyways... which they probably ignore...

Yeah and it's unlikely Xisto is going to do the same as nrg.to did seen as it's a lot larger and better and I think you know that..

just found out the ending from a reliable source about number 7 harry and voldemort are.....yeah like i know what going to happen, my theory is to finish off the series harry dies killing voldemort, bad enough most of the main cast get killed off in book 6, so might as well finish it off, with ron and hermonie getting hitched.

Everyone thinks that. I want to see harry grow up and get married and have a child and then die trying to save it. Be a good twist. haha.

But I think the author wants to end the series because it's getting too long and draggy. I heard her say something in an interview.

I don't think putting electronics through the wash are as much of a problem as many say or maybe I'm just lucky. I have accidentally put many small electronics in the wash before such as watches, mp3 players, laser pointers, usb drives and they all have worked afterwards.

I would just like to add that as far as I know there are no age limits on this board. But... I have seen some boards that are 13+ and anything younger will need parents permission.

Total pro. It looks real cool and hard but some of the things look really childish , which is great!I love the illustrations , which look half real and half cartoony. It's people like these that make the whole website thing 'fun'.I haven't used flash before. I don't know whthe I want to try it, looks pretty hard.

I am currently thinking of selling my Pentax Optio s5i camera(poo) to get a cheap DSLR/SLR camera as my mum already has a compact digicam and we don't need another one. Trouble is I don't know what to look for. I've looked through magazines, cataloques and the reviews on the internet but I can't find one that suits.I want one under $300(can't afford anything higher) that is has a really good quality. I've seen some around that price range, but they aren't very pleasing. I've had a look at the Cheap Nikon E55, and was wondering if the price was low for some bad reasons.

First of all I actually thought that XANGA was only for asian people. But I guess not. I don't really like xanga because it mostly only allows signed up users to view others profiles or do anything. All blogging community blogs are customizable, I just don't see the difference in this one. I reckon they are all basically the same or at least similar in some way. I've never joined and I don't really want to at the moment. Maybe in the future or something.

i'm connected to the internet through a HUB, both the cables are aprox. 15m long.

I've switched the cables but the problem is still there, and the pinging is still going...

before i reinstalled windows i never have had such a problem.

On my information ppack it says not to have anything extension cables longer than 10m other wise it MAY (not definately) cause some problems.

 

Although...I have the same problem as you but mine is due to the AOL thing...which is when you're not active it logs you off, even if you're on broadband.

 

You're computer might have spyware? Possible cause. It was for my old computer. I got it fixed but then i got a virus and the whole thing like died.

I like the dark dark ones. because they make your legs look skinnier than the original light blue jeans.But I DO like the light blue jeans.. especially those with the rips. They're sort of when you feel fresh... darker for when you feel.. um ghetto. rofl.I love tight jeans but most jeans don't fit length and waist... in year 2 my friend had green jeans!! gee man.. lol
