Here are somme kool noob tricks you can do on windows Xp and maybe other verions. Havent tried on others yet. You do these AT YOUR OWN RISK. I TAKE NO RESPONSIBLITY FOR WHAT YOU DO WITH THESE. Monitors and PCI video cards are pretty cheap now. Windows recognizes the addition & allows easy adjustments on the 'Display Properties/Settings' menu. Save Streaming Media (#22) It's cool to listen to MP3s (or watch movies) over the Internet. Often, saving this media, however, seems impossible. There are alot of other ones you can do also that are more advance but i wont get into then right now.

The biggest pro of linux in my opinion it that is very low cost or free. You can get thousands of dollars of software fo it for free or next to nothing. You can get most of the distros for free online at linuxs site or get them on cd for low cost. Another thing i like about linux it that its very stable and relieable. It doesnt have as many problems with the os and you can leave it on for weeks with out having to reboot alot. Also windows tends to crash alot for stupid reasons or sometimes no reasons where linux can be ran for years with out crashing. This is mostly cause the people developing linux build it as more of a hobby and build it for them self and others other than corperate sale such as microsoft does. A con of linux is there is a lot of duplicate programs. For example if you look at mail programs you can find alot of different ones doing the same job just with a different development approch. Another con is alot of drivers for hard ware are not made for linux. You can have a great deal of problem trying to find certain drivers. Also its hard to find support for linux for new users and people that dont know whats wrong. Other then that though i find linux a good os to use. hope that helps.

I hate the Service pack so far. Ive tried multipul times and still cant get this one to work. I install it and the sound drivers still mess up. Does anyone know if there is a solution to this or how to fix it? The beta worked fine for me but i cant figure out whats wrong with this one.

Wow i hate my pc on this one. I took all the time to install it and had to reboot alot and then when i finally got it done everything except my sound worked. I hope they fix what ever cause my sound drivers to stop working cause it was kinda anoying. The beta i tested worked fine but then when i tried to use this one that happened and i had to uninstall it and now i gota put the beta one back on. Another hour or so late.....lol

Thanks for the info man. This is very good for people who dont know how to program proxys and easy to remake which is good because these one are probably easy for admins to find out about. Thats awesome though that you posted this.

the proxys in my school are also blocked but i found that sometimes depending on the security the school uses you can bypass the proxy block by using secure connection. This is done by using https:// instead or http://. A good proxy this works with is poorlight. Dont know if i can post a link here but just google it and you will find it as the first one. Then put http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/.......... and it might work. You might have to play around and try it with multipul proxys to find out which one you can do it with in your school. And if you ever find a proxy that works with out any of this use a secure connection anyways because if you dont it is easy for the school or teachers to find out and block it. Trust me thats what happened in my school. Another tip is not to tell people the proxy and what ever you do DONT tell them about the secure connection because even if they look over your shoulder or something and find out the proxy site they probably wont think or know to check if its secure connection or not. i wouldnt waste your time trying to hack it. Not saying it cant be done just its really really hard now a days. Its not like the good old days were you could brute force it. There servers have high security. good luck though.

Its been released for beta along time ago. I tested the alpha of it and wasnt that good and the beta wasn't anything special. Im gona go try the released version now. Maybe it includes IE8 (which im currently beta testing) with fixes to the problems.

In my opinion psp is worth buying because it has some awesome games and the online play is good. It is also modable at low cost. Basically all you need is a usb cord and a memory stick that doesn't cost much. DS on the other hand need special readers and other stuff which the costs can get expencive. If anyone needs help at moding PSP or DS you can msg me on here. PSP also has some really cool features especial in europe with the Go!messenger by sony which is a really nice messenger for the PSP by sony. If you have the PSP camera you cant use messenger web cam too with it. Even though it is currently available only in Europe there are ways around this. DO THESE AT YOUR OWN RISK. It is most likely the Ram or a problem with the motherboard. Try some new ram (doesn't have to be brand new) if this doesn't work try the same ram but switch around all the slots. I know it sounds stupid but it works, its the way my IT friend has fixed computers. Certain motherboards require a certain amount of ram. Its very few but they are out there that why change around the ram. If that doesn't work try swapping the video card with a different one. If it still doesn't work then you could try swaping the CPU. Do this at your own risk because if you put it in the wrong way and force it slightly you bend or break the pins. If that doesn't work it is probably a motherboard problem. There might be something shorting out theat is connected so first try to disconnect non essencial parts such as cd drives and stuff and try to boot it. If it still doesn't boot try testing you power supply on another computer. If that seems to be working fine it is probably a problem on the motherboard and possible a more critical one to do with other parts. You will have to get it checked by a comp. tech. Hope some of this works and helps.

I currently perfere McAfee because i find the version i have dosen't ever cause any lagging. AVG is good but i find it causes lagg when starting you computer if you have alll the features on including the spyware scan. I find Norton is garbage now and is a hazzel to install. NOD32 is pretty good along with Kasperspy. I got advised by a CompITA A+ Certified friend and he said "McAfee is decent but I would perfere using NOD32 or Kasperspy." Hope this helps.

Thats a yes and no because google has it set up so they are all synced and depend on each other if that makes any sence. The systems are made so if error does occur you just have to turn them off and back on. They made it that easy with there own software. But you are right there has to be alot of administration for that. Its still amazing though at how with those servers it doesnt lagg. I expected google to have like quad or 8core servers or something but they dont.
