  1. If internet was not invented we have no idea that there is an internet like now, so we can still live without it. Just like our ancestors long time ago. What really we can't live without are the things we'd getting used to. If we're not getting used at it there's no problem. What Would It Be Without The Internet? No problem. We have no idea what internet is, it did not exist. What if our internet today in an unknown reason will due disappear tomorrow? That would be unacceptable!
  2. Yes yordan I know. What did I say in my previous post? What I meant in the previous post is I don't need ipconfig/release is if I have a static IP. Static is not a DHCP right? You know I been in network maintenance for nearly three years. I assumed that this topic is about changing IPs in the network because it is not easy to change the external IP unless you have a dynamic internet connection.
  3. I am a full time employee. At the same time programmer but now I'm hooked in web developing. I hope to be self-employed someday. What else I can say?
  4. Mine is simple. Astronaut or cosmonaut is about astronomy. They explore space, cosmos or whatever we may call it. While cybernaut is the explorer of cyberspace. I don't know if this username is original but I invented it or at least reinvented it.
  5. This method is very useful. I always use this when simple queries of linking two tables is not enough. This method is putting a query inside a query.Example:SELECT * FROM table1 LEFT JOIN (SELECT * FROM table2 WHERE field1='id') AS subtableor joining multiple queriesSELECT * FROM (SELECT * FROM table1 WHERE userid='001') AS subtable1 LEFT JOIN (SELECT * FROM table2 WHERE field1='id') AS subtable2You can join more than two queries depending on the output you want.If someone already posted this topic here I'm sorry I don't know.
  6. I don't know it would be that complicated. But it is still nice if we have that kind of disk. Wow! Thats great! For me a super washing machine is enough where I could dump my dirty clothes and wear it in no time.
  7. Nice tutorial! But in dynamic local IP with ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew I could change my local IP in less then 10 secs.In static local IP by 1. Right clicking the My Network Places 2. Right clicking the LAC (LAN)3. Double clicking the TCP/IP4. Change the IP Address5. Click OKStill less then 10 secs. Provided that the IP address works. No need to ipconfig/release.
  8. I hope this so-called "pdf exploit" is not serious. I am using pdf as a way of generating report in my website project. I am also a frequent user of pdf file.
  9. This is a good tips. I might try it one day. Thank you.
  10. This thing won't work in my XP. I think when Boozker tries to defrag the laptop he's not logged in as Admin. So the thing is he just created another Admin account in safe mode and logged in to that account to defragment the laptop. This is just my theory, I might be wrong. But as far as my windows here is concerned it's not working.
  11. Maybe its faster than our present wireless connection. I hope this technology will be available for personal use soon.
  12. A hard drive with unlimited space! I always ran out of space in my computer. I think it would be very useful. I will then be able to save tons of movies, games.. etc..
