  1. woah!! really??? just copy / paste???? now i've got to see this one... thanks for the post...
  2. of course, for security purposes, you won't really ever give out your password to anyone you know you wouldn't trust... also, i seldom use those boxes in remembering passwords for your next login especially in shops coz you'll never know who's gonna use next on the pc... yah, just a reminder that if you so had given your password, change it to something they wouldnt guess but also at the same time, something you won't forget coz it happened to me once that i failed to remember what password i changed my account into due to thinking so much of what to replace that they wouldnt guess... XD
  3. woah... the site is really disturbing.. i mean the background, then the bg music.. the content is way far from what is seen.. supposed to be a religious site, meaning something sacred and holy but it's the opposite... >_<the site doesn't have a theme... pages are so unarranged... the designer just got to choose what he likes and uses it on a certain link... the design's unorganize. for a beginner i guess it's too much.. i mean there are plenty of tutorials available on the net, even on the host that you're going to use..
  4. wathe?? just heard of this site just now... just don't get the point of making this site... hahahaha... just for the record.. wonder how many hits it got since it was first uploaded? well some weird designer... hehehe... those with poor eyesights won't get to appreciate this one, they got to use magnifying glass to enjoy eat..hahahaha... really great now.. no hosting problems for space...
  5. yah, i do agree choosing a host is really difficult because at sometime you would like to update your site and add various actions so that it can do these things and other specifications so that your site would be "in" and can meet demands you'll be needing.that link is really a helpful one.. thanks so much..
  6. hi there, currently im planning of buying a 200gb hardisk for my computer.. i would like to ask if you have any suggestions as to what power supply it will need...im using a 350V power supply... would that be enough? or are there any tendencies that my pc would crash of power? some of the hardwares currently connected now is a cd-rom, a dvd-rom burner, 128mb videocard and a memory of 512mb... please do give me suggestions... thanks so much!
  7. i prefer desktops more than laptops.. i think the only advantage you get with laptops is that they can be brought anywhere and can be used anytime.but then i'd also go for desktops because desktop computer parts are easier to find and can have different compatabilities.. some laptop parts when needed can only be purchased to where you brought it. desktop can also be fixed urgently. also, most laptops don't have numpads unlike in desktops. gaming is also limited for laptops and is really a lot expensive when you want to get a high-spec laptop for gaming use.. desktops are reliable at many ways and is way cheaper, the only thing is that you can't bring it anywhere, just at home or in the office.
  8. As for me, I use AVG free edition. It's really good. before i use panda anti-virus with spyware doctor but then i also then to get threats and viruses. But now, i just use one software and it does all! It's the only thing i use... it gets updated everyday and the good part is it's free and really reliable... try it.. one of the best i guess..
  9. really nice layout.. the combination of colors are simply great.. not that distracting, yah except for the string things...what tye of site are you planning to build? made with iframes or in tables?just be careful slicing for the layout can be ruined with it... good luck! really nice layout, somewhat 3d and futuristic..
  10. gee thanks for the infos... just so now i know that these are possible... im downloading the one used for yahoo and give it a try...thanks again..
  11. i'm currently using mozilla firefox, but i so noticed that it doesn't support scrollbar colors for websites... is it me or it's just a limitation of firefox? when designing, i always check my design in both browsers because some alignments and designs made are rigthly done in IE, less in mozilla firefox...i haven't really tried Opera because in most shops i go and also my friends', they just use either of the two.. IE or firefox
  12. nice work...i'd also suggest to work on the body... the eyebrows and pacifier are ok for me.. just the body needs improvement..really cute i'd say if you're working on it for pleasure and practicing doing artwork...great job... <_<like to see the improvements after...
  13. Haven't tried Gimp... i'm using Adobe Photoshop cs2 for all my designs.. really good and handy... you get to play with the tools and whala! you can get different creative designs (of course also depends on your creativity).. really good and can't work without it when it comes to photo editting, designing and other creative stuffs.
  14. i voted for the first one... in my opinion, only the first one get to really look somewhat professional, simple but has the look and well-blanced. Niru's works could be quite ok but i think the selection and combination of colors is really not good. well these are just my opinions ...
  15. i would also suggest http://www.mysql.com/.. this site is really a nice one.. it just doesn't give you the commands you need to know but also has interactivity, whereas you can answer the exercises given and practice what you have learned. This is where i learned how to use sql, better than school, reading and just writing...
