  1. I agree with mvs.en. I've seen one of my classmate's e-mail in yahoo and he has 3000 messages. He didn't even fill up most of the percentage. Filling up even 50% of your e-mail storage would be wasteful, when you know most of it is spam. The unlimited e-mail storage isn't really much of an upgrade, but I have to say, this would draw new users to the internet because unlimited is such a big word.
  2. Yeah. You will notice in quantcast (a site rater) that Yahoo has around 65m views per day. It's the number one site (2- google), and now they are expanding their mail to unlimited storage. God, talk about killing competition. o_O
  3. Ahm. Yes, I also have this question in mind. I have a beta-game (not yet finished) and I'm planning on making a mana system (simillar to Marcoland.com) wherein the mana refreshes every day. I'm not sure how to set it like that. (Am I allowed to ask questions as well?)Do I put a time stamp with the now() function that m^e has said and put an if statement when the time is equal?@Tavox Peru - That seems functional. I'll try that one out. I'm not sure how Javascript will get the time stamp from php though. I'm really confused with this subject.(LOL, I was thinking of a way to refresh the mana automatically... I said to myself, "Bah, I'll just refresh it manually. -.-;;" hehehe ")
  4. I've played the game and I have to say, rockstar is really getting better. I've really enjoyed using the bike and just crashing into enemy territory to get some ammo. I'd go really fast on my bike and crash on one of the gang enemies and then he'd just start spitting blood out. B)I wasn't able to finish it without cheats though. I know, that makes me sound immature. I enjoyed riding the hydra though. It was hella great.
  5. Yup. I have to agree with you. Starcraft is the very first RTS game that I have ever played. My uncle taught it to me with his computer, and after a while I started being greedy. >_< That was around 7 years ago. (I was 7 then)I prefer using Zurgs because its very easy to transport your cavalry and you can infest on terran command centers. ;;
  6. I started playing sudoku when I saw one of my classmates doing it. I finally asked my mother if I could buy one and she let me. Soon enough, I got my relatives to try it out. We've been solving sudoku problems for a while now, but I've stopped for a while.Sudoku is really great. It makes you think, which sharpens your mind.
  7. I'm fourteen right now, and when I took one of my teacher's test last year it was 55WPM. I think I can do faster when I'm coding PHP/actionscript, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know a good wpm test?
  8. Having watched a the same movie over and over again would fry my brains. I would start reciting the actor's lines after I'd watch it, and I would even be voicing out special effects.I didn't see Steve Irwin though.
  9. That's a really cool idea, but as WeaponX has said, the earphones hanging from your ears would soon get irritating. Probably having a loudspeaker? It's nice to see people adapting to the new world. -.-;;
  10. I didn't know you can do that. Do you know some places where I can learn how to program GBA games?
  11. I made a shortcut on the desk top and wrote what was written on the first post but It still won't change. Er. Can someone help?
  12. If I were asked what I would choose from all the other games, I would have to say Ragnarok Online is the best. I don't know how to explain why Ragnarok Online is my favorite, but it seems that I have grown a liking to its user friendly interface and its cool monsters.
  13. Yeah, is Gamemaker easy to use? I've seen my brother download it, but when I checked the RAR file, it had no files. I also heard from other sites that Gamemaker has a drag and drop thingy? I'd really like to know more.
  14. Kirupa and Newgrounds are great places you can go to to learn flash. I studied there last year and the place was really friendly.
  15. I usually play RO servers (Ragnarok Online) games. I'm into making a php and mySQL text based game of my own, but I need a host so I'm here in Xisto. Anyways, I play DotA with my friends as well, and sometimes I play o2 Jam.
  16. I suggest going to planetsourcecode.com, search ALS (Advance Login System) and download it. extract it to your htdocs, and open install.php. It has a register/login system, email activation system, secure pages for higher members and admins, a message center, news, and even member hiearchy. If you want to make one from scratch, I suggest reading the php files of the ALS and checking to see how it was made. Good luck.
  17. I would suggest searching eAthena on yahoo and going to their forum. eAthena (englishAthena) is a server emulator for the very popular game, "Ragnarok Online". I've studied it for quite a long time now, and I have to say, eAthena is easy to customize. If you want to download the file, you can try going to: http://eamirror.skamfroj.net/ They have a lot of tutorials and links in that single page. Good luck!
  18. I'm making a php and mySQL text based game by myself. I suggest going to planetsourcecode and searching for ALS (Advance Login System) and customizing it from there. It already has registration, email activation, log in, secured pages, and member levels! (There are pages where member's can go into) It really helped me a lot. Anyways, good luck with the game!
  19. I would suggest finding a XAMPP installer and learning PHP first. XAMPP allows you to practice php and mySQL while offline. This is great so that you check if your game works before you upload the php files. I myself is trying to make one of my own. My only problem is a webhost, and that is the reason for my prescence here in Xisto.
