  1. I agree with you, talktime. I have thought the same thing. It's strange to have them scanning the emails for keywords.
  2. also on gmail you don't have to refresh the pages... when a message arrives, it simply gets there!
  3. Hey seec77 '=) It's funny that you mention that is hard photographing people who don't look very good, and other people on this board have agreed with you. I don't even think of it as a challenge, for me it is indifferent wether the subect of the portrait is beautiful or not. I did spend about 18 months photographing only beautiful men though. I went out on the streets and I photographed the strangers that caught my eye. That was very difficult not only because I felt shy but also because many times the guys looked really bad in the pictures. When I do portraits, I don't care if the person will look beautiful, but that was the whole point when photographing those men on the streets. I think in the end it's really all about the photographer, and not the models. On the other hand, you have no idea how easy it is to photograph Natasha '=) She is utterly beautiful, and she always looks DIFFERENT because she wears different clothes and makeup and everything... There are pictures of her with her teeth painted black, and even then she looks amazing. I'm glad you liked the photos of Orquestra Imperial, I was just learning how to photograph concerts. Too bad I stopped there, I still want and need to learn more '=/ Those recent pink photographs that I have been posting have very little to no digitized colours on them actually. I get to that tone only by putting pink candy wrapper in front of the flash! '=) It is a moment I have been going through for several weeks now, and I'm loving it! '=D I want to try different colours. Update -> well, I guess I can address this to everyone that posted, not only to seec77... Specially regarding the colours
  4. thank you for your opinion, Arbitrary '=) I don't know which "Lipcia" you're talking about, but I like all of them better than "Caroleta"! ;-) I think one of the few downsides of Flickr is that the resized photos are some times over sharped...Tomorrow I think I'm going to shoot something different, during daylight, hopefully in the rain. I'll post here when I upload '=D
  5. But Nova doesn't present their source either, there is no actual data there, only the conclusions.
  6. haha, very good point! Never pay for a game made in flash '=)
  7. I would definitely need to see the sources to believe any of that... No offense '=)
  8. I wouldn't call it a RPG, but a big collection of chat rooms. I used to go and play there and in other similar websites, but I never purchased any credits anywhere '=) I never played for long anywhere because, like you said, it becomes so boring so quickly...! I mean, it's just a chat room after all... I wonder if The Sims Online is as boring as Habbo and others. Has anyone ever played it?
  9. 1. Firefox2. MSN Messenger3. Winamp4. Adobe Photoshop5. AIMFrom time to time there are also games that I play a lot... Real games like Sims 2 and Sim City 4 and also Windows games, like Pinball 3D and Freecell ;-)
  10. Oh, God, I hate when a new version of Windows comes out... I hope I can stick to this for a long time. I still used Win98 in 2004! And when I moved to WinXP, my webcam no longer worked! '=/
  11. Flickr is really cool because it's not only a place to store and showcase your photos, it's also a network of photographers and "collections" of pictures. There are many groups there, you can join them and post pictures from your photostream in the group. I can't really explaing it in English, but if you produce a lot of images, you should give it a try ;-)I know of one amateur photo contest which seems cool, they have many different themes. It's at http://jpgmag.com/live/
  12. I'm mostly into portraits, but enjoy other things too. I'm not so much into nature and landscapes, I prefer architecture; but I love landscapes show with infrared film '=)Are you guys familiar with that website Flickr.com?
  13. I think they are making Monkey Island 5, and I think it's supposed to be the last one '=/ You know, I have no idea what kind of games they are making these days! I never hear anything about them... I don't remember any Xwing games, I'm going look for that now ;-)
  14. hahaha Man, this is not the right forum for this... I don't even know if there is a forum for selling keychains, I think you can't advertise here or something... I see this is your first post, I suggest you read their rules here -> http://forums.xisto.com/topic/79559-topic/?findpost= '=)
  15. I'm bit confused by all this, but from what I've read here, maybe I don't to start a new topic...The url I see on the address bar right now is Xisto.com/(.......).html. I came to this forum through the Xisto.com website. But when I log in I see "welcome to Xisto!"So, Xisto.com and Xisto.com are two different free webhosts, with two different boards, right? They only have the same owner? But also I was looking at approved free host applications, and on many of them you guys suggested people to apply at Xisto, saying they could use the credits they got here. How does that work? Thanks for your attention '=)
