  1. I agree with you, talktime. I have thought the same thing. It's strange to have them scanning the emails for keywords.
  2. also on gmail you don't have to refresh the pages... when a message arrives, it simply gets there!
  3. Hey seec77 '=) It's funny that you mention that is hard photographing people who don't look very good, and other people on this board have agreed with you. I don't even think of it as a challenge, for me it is indifferent wether the subect of the portrait is beautiful or not. I did spend about 18 months photographing only beautiful men though. I went out on the streets and I photographed the strangers that caught my eye. That was very difficult not only because I felt shy but also because many times the guys looked really bad in the pictures. When I do portraits, I don't care if the person will look beautiful, but that was the whole point when photographing those men on the streets. I think in the end it's really all about the photographer, and not the models. On the other hand, you have no idea how easy it is to photograph Natasha '=) She is utterly beautiful, and she always looks DIFFERENT because she wears different clothes and makeup and everything... There are pictures of her with her teeth painted black, and even then she looks amazing. I'm glad you liked the photos of Orquestra Imperial, I was just learning how to photograph concerts. Too bad I stopped there, I still want and need to learn more '=/ Those recent pink photographs that I have been posting have very little to no digitized colours on them actually. I get to that tone only by putting pink candy wrapper in front of the flash! '=) It is a moment I have been going through for several weeks now, and I'm loving it! '=D I want to try different colours. Update -> well, I guess I can address this to everyone that posted, not only to seec77... Specially regarding the colours
  4. thank you for your opinion, Arbitrary '=) I don't know which "Lipcia" you're talking about, but I like all of them better than "Caroleta"! ;-) I think one of the few downsides of Flickr is that the resized photos are some times over sharped...Tomorrow I think I'm going to shoot something different, during daylight, hopefully in the rain. I'll post here when I upload '=D
  5. But Nova doesn't present their source either, there is no actual data there, only the conclusions.
  6. haha, very good point! Never pay for a game made in flash '=)
  7. I would definitely need to see the sources to believe any of that... No offense '=)
  8. I wouldn't call it a RPG, but a big collection of chat rooms. I used to go and play there and in other similar websites, but I never purchased any credits anywhere '=) I never played for long anywhere because, like you said, it becomes so boring so quickly...! I mean, it's just a chat room after all... I wonder if The Sims Online is as boring as Habbo and others. Has anyone ever played it?
  9. 1. Firefox2. MSN Messenger3. Winamp4. Adobe Photoshop5. AIMFrom time to time there are also games that I play a lot... Real games like Sims 2 and Sim City 4 and also Windows games, like Pinball 3D and Freecell ;-)
  10. Oh, God, I hate when a new version of Windows comes out... I hope I can stick to this for a long time. I still used Win98 in 2004! And when I moved to WinXP, my webcam no longer worked! '=/
  11. Flickr is really cool because it's not only a place to store and showcase your photos, it's also a network of photographers and "collections" of pictures. There are many groups there, you can join them and post pictures from your photostream in the group. I can't really explaing it in English, but if you produce a lot of images, you should give it a try ;-)I know of one amateur photo contest which seems cool, they have many different themes. It's at http://jpgmag.com/live/
  12. I'm mostly into portraits, but enjoy other things too. I'm not so much into nature and landscapes, I prefer architecture; but I love landscapes show with infrared film '=)Are you guys familiar with that website Flickr.com?
  13. I think they are making Monkey Island 5, and I think it's supposed to be the last one '=/ You know, I have no idea what kind of games they are making these days! I never hear anything about them... I don't remember any Xwing games, I'm going look for that now ;-)
  14. hahaha Man, this is not the right forum for this... I don't even know if there is a forum for selling keychains, I think you can't advertise here or something... I see this is your first post, I suggest you read their rules here -> http://forums.xisto.com/topic/79559-topic/?findpost= '=)
  15. I'm bit confused by all this, but from what I've read here, maybe I don't to start a new topic...The url I see on the address bar right now is Xisto.com/(.......).html. I came to this forum through the Xisto.com website. But when I log in I see "welcome to Xisto!"So, Xisto.com and Xisto.com are two different free webhosts, with two different boards, right? They only have the same owner? But also I was looking at approved free host applications, and on many of them you guys suggested people to apply at Xisto, saying they could use the credits they got here. How does that work? Thanks for your attention '=)
  16. I had the luck to play this game once, and it is truely amazing. Herbert, I'd say it's "creepy environment noises and dark overtones" scary! '=) The game looks so perfect, the sound is so awesome, and the control trembles gently in your hands if there's a strange presence in the part of the game you're in... ;-)
  17. HelloHow many of you here are fans of old Lucas Arts games? I can't really remember many of their titles right now, but I simply LOVE Day of the Tentacles and the whole Monkey Island series. They are long, they look great and they are simply hilarious!
  18. GreetingsDid you people watch a tv show called Do Over? It was about a man who kinda went back in time, he was 14 again, living his adolescence again. It was really fun, too bad it didn't last long. One of the leading actors, Josh Wise, is extremely good looking ;-)
  19. Hey everyoneDo you remember a tv show named My So-Called Life, that aired in 1994? Man, it was so cool...! It had Claire Danes and Jared Leto, they were so young! I still love it, and I was only 9 when I first watched it. Too bad it only lasted one season. They have those cool 90's songs by Cranberries and Smashing Pumpkins and all the rest... I mean, I think it was only that generation's own Dawson's Creek... But on the other hand, it seems so much better! My So-Called Life's gay character was much better than Dawson's Creek's gay character I think... Not to mention their approach to drugs!Yeah ;-)
  20. Hello ;-)Do you guys know a tv show called Dead Like Me? I haven't watched it in quite a while, but I love it. It's about grim reapers, and it's a comedy... Everyday the grim reapers meet and go after the people whose souls they have to take. Really funny '=)
  21. A Woman is a Woman, by Jean-Luc Godard. Kinda boring '=/
  22. I didn't think it was so much worse than the book; in fact, I thought it was pretty decent...!
  23. I only saw it a few times, I really liked it. Their camera is so much different from other tv shows...
  24. haha, I had no idea Donnie Darko counted as a cult movie... The ones I can think of right now are Irreversible (by Gaspar NoƩ) and Beautiful People (some British comedy about ethnic conflicts in the Balkans).2001 - A Space Odissey kicks some serious mother****in' *bottom*...
