  1. My computer takes 10 seconds to log off and 20 to shut down, and I'm not really bothered. My desktop takes aboout 40 seconds, but I don't want to go and change any settings.
  2. They have grown a lot recently, from being a mere search engine to having all these new features.I used to sue http://de.ask.com/?o=312&l=dir over google.com but now I never use ask, because google has so many other benefits and programs to use with it, I recently discovered another, Google Page Creator which is great for a simple, secure and safe quickie website.
  3. I have the same problem, I'll have a look at your solutions, hope they help .
  4. Google Adsense are a bit greedy.$1 they charge for when you click on an advert, yet only about 25c on average goes to you. They make at least 35c-60c proft on this system when all costs are withdrawn.Oh and you need 500+ clicks before they send you any money, and in the meantime, they are making quick intrest on the money they should be paying you, so only about 15c ever that comes from the original ad cost goes to you, the rest is interest.
  5. Remember not to send out refunds, 'cos that can be a sticky business, and also be careful when charging delivery, you should always make it about 15% higher, just in case you mis calculated, or rates have changed, the slightest penny movement from the bottom charge can cost $$$ to you. Also try to send your goods out on Sign For Delivery its only usually a little extra, but its worth it.Oh, and thanks for that program I might useit for my next online shop.
  6. I've just realised. If they don't give you your $25 dollars immediately, it will be an "up to" sum, so after you transfer about $100 which they will charge about 3.6% commission I think today's market it, they will credit your account with say what $5, because they put their commission into investment bonds. So you'll probably only receive your full amount after you've made a large transfer, and you might have to ring up a premium arte number to claim, or send off forms which have "processingfees" which "should" be fully refunded with the $25 dollars or that rubbish.I still don't trust it.
  7. That's quite clever for people who don't have Linux or know about it and they can install it for a low charge, so they think its great value whereas your downloading it for free.Do you go round their homes or do they bring the laptops and desktops to you?
  8. I'd say about 25 dollars cash in hand deposit, 10 dollars an hour and a variable and negotiable finishing amount, which is usually for bonuses and you make your boss call the price, so you'll learn whether your job was good.I'm sure you'll ace it, and I'm sorry my advice was a tad bit late but I'm sure it would of worked.
  9. If its 100% guarentted free and no catch - DON'T USE IT That's what i go by, there's nothing free in this world, and there's always a catch. Why do you have to give away bank details to sign up to Freebie sites, because if you accidentally click on a link once or twice by looking away from the screen and pressing some buttons, your address and bank details are so quickly given and willingly sold and transferred to partner companies who make a good commission, and its usually hard to cancel. So "giving" you money to join.Call me whatever, it HAS to be a scam.Thats why the website I am developing is 100% catch free and honest and has NO small print. That was a bit off topic, but I hope you understand what I am saying.
  10. Is it just my superstitiousness, but unfortunately, once again I don't trust it!I don't trust anything like this unless it is MSN, Google (Now not so trusting), yahoo (fairly) and a few others.Other small time e-mail clients need to grow with more supportive members and users, ahem not me ahem.I do think it is a pretty cool e-mail set up and think they've got a pretty neat website for something that is "fairly" small compared to GMail or MSN Hotmail.
  11. This is an outcry. Its unfair. Why are YOU so damned lucky. No, its ok your cool really, but I am still soooo mega jealous of you, and who wouldn't be.I've just bought a fairly cheap for England laptop equivalent to $750, and full price it would be $1500 but it is still NOwhere near as good as yours.Anyway, thats life, the bet things come as desktops is my motto .Thats why I always buy Laptops and Notebooks.
  12. O__oIts, urrm, odd is one word to call it but I think its quite cool.My only paint and graphicing program is GIMP 2 because most other programs cost too much.Do you guys think they're all overpriced as well or what, I think they're mostly rip-offs, except for the odd safe and secure program, that maybe takes a lot of space up, but is easy and simple to use and remove and saves in multiple formats.I will consider making mountains and hills - even though it sounds weird, but cool. It'll probably take me nearer, say, what 30 hours
  13. NO way.Your pulling my leg.Next, uranus won't be uranus .That is a bit odd though, you can't keep on adjusting guidelines, that's going to cost schools, libraries, and universities and colleges, billins of US Dollars to adjust their records, as well as re train teachers basicly with the new guidelines. If you ask me their just making things complciated for themselves, this is just going to make laods of money for printers and publishers, who edit one page and get loads more books sold, and makes room for quick writers to write Planet Books to be sold in the soon to be uproar! Its unfair, thats what i am trying to say.
  14. I can't believe that I narrowly missed the free beta version download, and I am now absolutely and 100% gutted, and hoped that I could possibly find another link which provided a secure and safe way to downlaod Windows Vista for free.I don't want to muck up my computer though, and it needs to be safe and secure, so if you guys have any URL'S feel free to share them with me, no holds barred.I would thoroughly appreciate it if you done that, because then I would be on the same side as all of my mates who are talking about it and its features. The only thing, or free memory that is still available, was Internet Explorer Beta Version 7 I think, which I have told you in another post looked really nice but most things are better compatible with Mozilla Firefox nowadays so I chose that instead.Does anyone also know the approximate start and end date of the free Windows Vista download off the microsoft website, because I can nearly guarentee that it was there for less than a week, which I personally think is out of order.I would appreciate it if you could post the URl here for me and others to sue and see if you know it.Oh, and if you have used that download with first hand experience, I would value that more, rather than some spyware junk that comes from a search engine, no offence because it wouldn't be your fault.Thankyou now I have to go and eat!
  15. Sorry, is this for this year, I'm a bit dopey. What if I have already downloaded Firefox.Sounds cool, I'll check it out later, I assume everything is a secure connection, and my name and details won't be sold? Please clear up those questions for me.Thanks alot for your help.Is it the "Firefox Day" link on the firefox start page, because if it is, then I trust that its secure.Sorry if I sound a bit iffy and if I look dumb, I just wante to be 100% sure and don't want to give my name out on the internet to be put on a wall without me knowing if you get my gist 0_o.
  16. I think there is a server error with niranv or that website, you might want to check it out, or maybe you typed it wrong?I like the fun forum.Where did you buy your domain from? Was it good value?I see you have the almighty dot.tk free domain.I ahd it, how do you find thecontrol panel and ads?
  17. That is a very daunting prospect, and me, as a infamous Gmail User used to be turned on by their Gmail Charm, but that is freaky. No wonder they "encourage" you to keep your mail, but they write it in such a cunning way.But I doubt it will stop me using it for the most time.I've tried Yahoo and I'll see how that goes, but from past experiences it isn't the "best" in the world, and MSN hotmal just gets too many ads and junk mail tht takes hours to filter, although I do get a bit of junk mail for sales that goes straight to my Junk Mail Box in Google Mail. Now I use the e-mail address with the e-mail client - Mozilla Thunderbird which is retty good, although I still prefer https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false&continue= https://mail.google.com/mail/
  18. But texting is fidgety, and if your in a rush and scared you can end up sending an odd text that takes ages to be read at the 911/999 sorting office and callcentre. We have something in England where you text when you're going out if you are a teenager, and you text this number, that's anonymous but associates your numbeer with name, so you text, "where", and "when", so if you get in trouble and your Parents need to find you, they just ring the police who check the line, which makes enquiries a lot faster dealt with.It gives Teenager freedom, with safety and security which I think is quite an ingenious idea, I doubt I would of thought of it myself.
  19. I used Mozilla because a computer technician installed it on my computer because Internet Explorer wasn't blocking viruses properly.I downloaded the Beta version of Internet Explorer then deleted it, it looked nice but things work best on Mozilla.I liked the "polished" effgect on the IE screen it looked, urrm "nice".As for Thunderbird, it was brilliant when I got it, but not so good now I think, but I could never set up POP3 accounts with Outlook, it was just too difficult!I would download Mozilla, and Thunderbird is probably one of the best out there on e-mail applications, but could look nicer, but don't let that put you off its easy set up.
  20. I hadn't a clue that they were different?Google have domains, could someone message me a link for that please! Thanks if someone does it.
  21. Both as brilliant as each other.I tried Xisto, but surprisingly I was more perpelexed about posting at Xisto than here, partly because I ahd about 60 different browsers up, and other posts.I think Xisto sounds more proffessional so I decided to try this out of the two recommended by my friend, and I ahve amd the right choice, dfinitely, I hope I won't regret saying that !!!Cross fingers.Anyway, I don't need "billions" of features so i don't particularly mind which host.
  22. I would say go with http://www.freedomain.pro/, dot.tk offer email forwarding but their website and control panel isn't very helpful. At least .co.nr don't sound that abd and are slightly easier to remember.
  23. I personally think that is unfair and is out of order. Can't anything ever be what it actually says it is, it is so annoying when these kindof things happen and its so difficult to make your voice heard. It really does annoy me, although I know this host is genuine as a good friend recommended me the site.
