What I really like about gmail is that it saves drafts of what you write as you're typing, so that if something happens, you're not screaming at your computer ... it's pretty awesome.There's other really cool features too of course ... which I haven't had much time to explore. but just that draft-saving makes me happy.

I know - it's so hard to find a good free web host!I mean I'm sure it's hard to run one, but they always advertise stuff and then you sign up and none of it works.Just today I tried to sign up for a "free" site, and it wanted to charge me like $20 for a registration fee.If it's not one thing it's another ... I'm just looking for1) free 2) no ads 3) a pretty good amt of storage space 4) good bandwidth/loading time 5) either supports PHP _OR_ has a file manager [browser-based]so I'm here! We'll see how this credit thing works out ...And yeah, I've been to some hosts that slowly started sneaking in ads... or worse, they just shut down without telling you. x_x

I'm really excited that they introduced the volume control media player! It used to blow out my ears [i have the earbud earphones ... ow.] The new player also helps because it gives you the runtime ... because that way if something awesome happens, you can tell your friends when. Lately they've been getting networks asking them to take stuff down though ... it's too bad about C-span and colbert. hee. oh but also, they have that new file size limit, which is sad... but if you have a file splitting program, it's not too unbearable. It is really cool though, because for example today I saw Sam Jackson on Ellen for Snakes on a Plane. Which is something I would never happen to catch on TV .. and Google video probably wouldn't allow either.

I've looked into other browsers, but I just can't get them to stick.I've stuck with Safari, just because it works fine [usually] and I'm too lazy to learn new keyboard shortcuts :Pand it's shiiiiiiiny .... if you use Shapeshifter .. Safari ends up looking the best when reskinned. [i'm a graphical person x_x]... but when I need to look more at their code or pick apart sites that aren't working, I use IE (heh, old school), because that naturally messes things up.I guess I just never got used to the way other browsers work and don't have the time to :DI've always had a hard time finding a Mac browser that would handle all the CSS that gets thrown at it. Namely, colored scrollbars. Those things are boring to CSS.

Yep, I'm a student too.I'd like to go into computer science or computer graphics ...Being a student seems like a job sometimes, I've been working morning until night!Which means I don't really have time to be hanging around here, but my hosting means have just run out! Aiyeee.

I've tried a lot of different screennames, and never liked any of them :DAnyway, so obviously "penguinwings" ... y'know ... penguins can't fly ... wings ... not helping ... I'll see how I feel about this one tomorrow morning o_x.

It actually creeps me out a lot when I search for something on Google and my own blog comes up. Or worse, one time I was image-googling something, totally unrelated to me, and a picture of myself came up ... a friend had posted it.My name's somewhat obscure, so I get weird stuff like academic records from the past ten years.
