I believe a 1gig ram is enough and will last me a long time because currently Im playing a MMO Lineage 2 (and if you know MMOs they require a lot of ram to play smoothly with a factor of internet connection)...its Recommended ram requirment is 1GB or higher than 512 ram...But Im playing on a notebook that only has 512ram and running smooth like a "babys butt," no lags...Thats why im not that concerned about my ram because 1gig of ram should probably last me until 2009 or something. And yea, like I said in my started topic post, Im buying Alienware mainly because of their reputation and service, as well as how their system looks. Also I dont know anyone that can custumize me a computer without having them charging me for labor, so thats why I turned to you guys to see if there are any better COMPUTER MAKERS like ALIENWARE that I can look into before I finalize my decision on purchasing this computer...

Do you guys happen to know on how reliable my setup is? I dont want it to be breaking down or wutever, and Memory: 1GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz - 2 x 512MB is enough for any game out there right now, so ill stick with the 1GB ram...I need more opinions before I finalize my descision on the purchase, one of the reasons why I dont customize is because I dont know where to start, and yes Ive heard about Alienware is overrated, but I believe they offer great quality systems based on references...

you can try developing your webpage in "layout" standard mode. Once you have that mode selected I believe there are options in the "properties" which is on the bottom of ur page design which slides open when you click on it. In the properties there should be a a option for HORIZONTAL alignment and VERTICAL alignment, mess with those and you can set how text will be printed during write. Again make sure ur cursor is in the text box, or else the options for "horizontal and vertical" alignment will not show...this information i gave to you is on v8 of Dreamweaver, but it shouldnt be that much different...

thanks for the detailed information on that, I will look into converting my iframes to php scripting. At the time I didnt know any other possible design methods that would comply with my template because for example if information was to exceed the height of my template design it would stretch it and cause the images to position out of wack. But thanks twitch I will look deeper into the tip of code you gave me...

Im currently using Softimage XSI 5.0 after migrating from many other 3D programs such as Litewave, and 3d studio max. I have found that XSI 5.0 to be a very efficient program in terms of modeling 3D characters. The GUI tools are a whole lot easier to use than the ones Ive experianced with 3dmax and litewave, also the hot keys they provide in the program almost makes it seems like Im playing with clay when modeling... Im here to recommend this program to any of you that are interested in 3D modeling, that you should look into this program because it offers a lot of features and easy to use. One of the reasons I respect this program so much is some of the finest models are created from this program such as SHREK, AI, and even Terminator 3. Pixar uses this program to create models so I believe this program to be a very good starting point if you want to become a good modeler and eventually go into the 3D animation industry. This place is a good hosting place for videos and also watching streaming videos. I was just recently introduced to this place and was amazed at how a whole 2hours movie can be found on this site. Ive remembered I played guildwars for a couple of months, it was really addicting at the time when I first bought it then when I beat the game and finished the storyline it pretty much died out for me. I built many characters such as:1) Farming monk (makes considerbly amount of money until then changed the AI to run from your area attacks2) Warrior/mesmer just a fun melee character to play3) Ranger/Necro fun range character to play who summons demonsOverall, it was a great time playing at guildwars till the content pretty much died for me, so far I moved on and looking to other interesting games to play...

When you designing one from scratch its much better than a template that is given to you. My reason is because for one you made the site with your own creativity, and another reason is because you will further progress your skills in web development if you do it from scratch. And each webpage you make by yourself, your production of webpages will be of better quality ten folds then the template that you find else where...

oh, in ur case I see why u have a lost of intrest...its because you already played it with ur PS2. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to ever play a game developed by DIMPS before, because I never owned a PS2, bought an XBOX. I was wondering if requesting a hosting service early is okay? Or will I be looked down upon and banned? The reason for my request to host early is because I need to host a webpage im designing for a college sorority. I've been through countless webhosts and all of them seems to caused problems for me for example: 1) UI with FTP was to cumbersome took forever to upload required files 2) ADs prevented the site from loading quick 3) ADs messed with webpage layout 4) Hosting service died 5) and more but too many to list...To explain my webpage, Im designing a webpage for the University of Santa Cruz Sorority - Kappa Gamma Delta, which is a pre-medical sorority for women. I am friends with the president of that sorority and she asked me if I could develop a page for her sorority. So I have, and am looking for a good host to host the website I have designed. Well, do any you think that would be a valid reason for me to be able to request a hosting service earlier? If its not its fine, I can wait. Hello everyone i just came from MANY hosting sites, and a decent one I found was freecoolsite.com. It has very nice easy to use interface with the features of PHP and mySQL, and even phpMyAdmin to manage the mysql database. But I found it has its bad points: 1) Has ADS 2) My rollover buttons doesnt function when it functions at 5 other host sites 3) When you are using "iframe" the frame used has a ad inside and messes up ur html webpage design, cause the frame is messed up...If only the site worked better for me, I would actually reccomend it to you guys. But Im here hoping to see if this place is a good host for a webpage Im making for school related reasons.
