niceits sort of like a super notepad with extra features. i quite like it, ive tried dreamweaver and i definatly prefer aceHTML!wondered if we could start a kind of ace users club thing?!!any tips or tricks that you have found for it? i'm sure im not getting the most out of the program. i dont seem to use many of the buttons, i only really use the css reference and the project files.

firefox is the best program ever - quite possibly.is is just so much better than IE. tabbed browsing is the best thing. i have forgotton that popups even exist. pages look better. the program looks better. adblock and other extentions are so useful. i nearly cried when i was forced to use IE at school, its just terrible - even on a super fast connection.but the best thing is that is is the best introduction to open source possible. it is a pro-quality program that looks and is as easy as if adobe or someone like that made it. it makes open source look good and gives exactly the right impression.since i was introduced i have forced all my friends to use it, and my family. most dont notice - but when they find out the extra features they cant go back. and some of my friends have gone on to introduce more people, and they are far less g33k than me. i now go straight to open source whenever i want/need a program. and want to run linux dual boot. firefox has indirectly led me to learn much more about computers.and yes even if IE does get tabbed browsing of course i will use firefox - i just wont hate using lame windows standard computers as much.

i was just wondering how easy it is to set-up/use a multi OS lan?any tips/stories/warnings from people with experience greatly appreciated.i'm sick of having windows and all its hassle and want to use a mac for design work and possibly linux for experimentations! How easy is it to use a mac in a windows network because my parents business cant afford to replace the whole computer system, just would think of purchasing a mac for the next computer.especially now osX is UNIX -

.tk pop ups never show on firefox. so i dont mind going on them.but i would never use one as a address for a site of my own. just looks sort of naff. i got a .co.uk for £2 so thats fine.

i think this debate will run forever - and rightly so!!i have a slr and a 6meg digicam [not dslr].the digicam is best for parties, quick shots, pictures that you want on the computer FAST - so easy with a memory card slot.the slr is a lovely camera [eos5] and a pleasure to use. but im a student and i shoot mostly sport, it's too expensive to just point and go. this is frustrating becasue with a dslr i know i would take ALOT more photos.i mostly shoot film in b/w and digital really has nothing on the power, beauty, intensity of these shots. as a purely artist medium b/w film is definatly the winner.as to what do do with the atual film, i think the ideal is home processing and then scaned negatives to use on the computer.one thing is for certain - you need all your photographs on the computer!!!
