what is the point of changing it? You will not have some programs that the pro version has. Are there differnet updates for the diffeent windows?? And hasn't microsoft said that they will stop updating sp1s? and you have to download the sp2 "patch"???

a lot of sites are now adding this new feature rss... How can i use this new feature???? some say that this allows someone to keep up to date with all the new posts (blogs,info) posted on a website. Does anyone have an example of how the thing works? (I am using FireFox)

i agree with Philywiskaz and flachi the registry is one of the most important parts of the Windows Operating system. (i thought that accounts with limited access could not open any files in the System32 folder?!?). Even if you were to disable the registry editor there are many ways of adding, deleting and changing entries in the Registry. 1. Makes a .reg file 2. Create a simple program to interface with the registry and you will then have your own registry editor :DQuestion: If you were to turn of the registry editor, would programs still be able to access it? I have only written programs that edit and change the registry when the registry editor is enabled..

yeah, i could attach another monitor but only when i am at home, at work i can use a hub for my labtop.. so i just like to stick to one

i agree there are so many differnet types of messengers. i think that they might do something for gmail, like a desktop mail send.... or something like that

i got a labtop here =) its hard to have more that one monitor if you are traveling with your labtop

when ever i tried to render a file in frontpage it always crashed. I could edit the code, but that was it.If you want a program that can render php then i would advise you to get Macromedia's Dreamweaver. It is very good, you can program nearly every type of format, html, php, javascript... it even comes with some tutorials.I have switched to dreaweaver because it is easier and uses ftp to upload your files :DI think that if you want to render php then you have to get a plugin.. but i can't quite remember
